connaire12 – I hope you don’t mind me asking- not sure what your itinerary is – if you’re down in the demesne again and by the Crowned Queen Of Heaven statue opposite the Lourdes basilica (i think) , could you say a prayer for my daughter – she’s struggling with food at the moment and thoughts and all sorts of stuff.

So sorry to read about your wee lassie, I am not in Lourdes, but I will say a big prayer for her anyway, if that’s okay mate.

    God Bless the little one.

  3. Absolutely brilliant.

    Hope everyone enjoys themselves.

Totally random stuff that we should all know.

Peter Lawwell has the email addresses and phone number of the originatorsl of the Green Brigade and talks to them every week.

Celtic have left RFC dead and will probably do the same to Sevco

Sevco’s only chance is humility and cobtrituon

Re living the game going through the posts. Page 16-19 is pure quality, with some appalling spelling( mostly from me)

  5. The hammering hasn’t even started and my spelling has gone all Aberdeen.

You are far too kind in your description of my posting. Thank you anyway.

  6. Taken from Sunday RAG,

Celtic star Kieran Tierney doubtful for Scotland’s clash against England after suffering suspected broken jaw

Hoops left back takes to Twitter to reveal extent of injury following clash with Aberdeen striker Jayden Stockley as boss Brendan Rodgers reveals youngster will need an operation.

  7. BIG JIMMY on 27TH MAY 2017 8:36 PM

Were there no tifo’s today ?

Aberdeen had one, we didn’t. Apparently the police wanted to know in advance what was being planned and the Green Brigade wouldn’t tell them so they wouldn’t allow it.

  8. Stockley…yr a feckin Hun thug…that’s TWICE you have sought young KT to damage him.

Just wait til next season ya muppet when some of Celtic’s MEN line up against you…..if you’ve still got a club ?

Brendan sign me up for games against that Sheep mob next season.

the Celtic support and players know what you have done TWICE to a young player , yer mother must be very proud of you Stockley…ya bastard child of Satan !

Cheers mate, when I never saw one as Celtic came out, I thought it was strange and then I thought maybe the GB were waiting for the 67 minute ?

  11. Jimmynotpaul on

    Big Jimmy.

SFA said Celtic fans chose not to have TIFO hmmmm.

Celtic fans say, not so. Perhaps someone can give true story. I’m told SFA wanted to know what TIFO said and Celtic fans said Chase yourselves.

I know we definitely had a TIFO.

    Tonight we are invincible.

Today was also the closest I’ve ever come to leaving a stadium because I felt I couldn’t watch any more. I felt genuinely physically sick for most of the 90 minutes.

    @@@@@

Very moving post mate mainly cause I felt the same.

However how did you feel in the 91st min?

Me I have openly cried and been laughed at by wee shades at every league and cup win

    since……… well ever .

I have a big mate who always says to me that he thought he got Celtic , till he seen me with tears running down my eyes at one of those league celebrations .Then with tears running down his own eyes, he thanked me for being an emotional pwick like him.

So much to say after the last week i don’t even know where to start, absolutely incredible times.

Congratulations to the players, they have carried a huge burden and pressure recently to finish this job. Today they finalised another chapter in our magnificent history. Everyone of them are Legends forever.

Armstrong was absolutely stunning in everything he did, best player on the pitch by absolute miles and miles.

As for Paddy holding up Kieran’s shirt, a truly wonderful gesture. It brought a tear to my eye.

Mrs GFTB needed to give notice for a Sunday shift off, so only two tickets needed, and obviously two tickets together……

Big Jimmy, next time you are in the Tollbooth on a Friday post on here, I will certainly pop in for a couple of beers and a quid in the jukebox, I love the TB

  16. ‘You’ve now written your own name in Celtic’s history. It’s a club that appears to have fallen in love with you and I get the feeling you’ve fallen in love with the club.’

‘No… I was born into Celtic. There’s been no growing, only pride

  17. KT we all know you want to play all the time, but forget about Scotland for now…just get yerself mended young man…We ALL love you.

I wish you were my Bhoy.

PS get yer Da to have a word with Stockley.

The no mark will never amount to to a fraction of Kieran Tierney’s ability and knows it. Which is why he, and his manager, set out to hurt in place of attempting to mat him talent.

He isn’t worth the booking a real hard man would get for doing him properly.

I know how you feel, stress affects my illness so much. It was unbearable at times, so close to, for me, our best achievement since Lisbon.

I jumped about the living like crazy, in a way I thought I couldn’t :-)))

The walk on cracked me up, thinking of loved ones lost, such a joyous and emotional day. I’m so happy Paddy was there, are you partying with him or has Minx told you to get home :-))

    Tonight we are invincible.

    Hail Hail

    Nae bother GFTB…Just wan thing wrong…Tolbooth doesn’t have a Jukebox !

Hope you get fixed up with JohnBay.

    God Bless.

  21. Sorry contrition

PL played a blinder with Ronny appointment.

The time was NOT right for a number of reasons (not on a public forum) to be ambitious 3 years ago.

Ronny achieved his remit and should be saluted like all the men who brought us here.

Our das and uncles going to see Celtic for decades got us here.

    This is important ___

Did Celtic ( PL DD et all) have the power/sway to put Sevco in premier league in 2012?

    Yes they did.

Did Celtic have the power to put Sevco in div 1 in their 1st year?

    Yes they did

Did Celtic have the power/sway to refuse Sevco entry to the bottom league?

NO the other chairmen would’ve have said- No way and we could have ended up with the franchisein SPL debt free.

In PL DD BR we should all trust

Anyway my 1st point– the GB help us attract fans and players

  23. I’ve just discovered that I’ve been mis-pronouncing Tom Rogics’ surname. I was pronouncing it as Rogic whereas it’s apparently Rogic.

I won’t make that mistake again.

I’ll say a prayer at Mass tomorrow for your daughter.

I heard you were rather special over in Lisbon, I’m not surprised.

    Ecstatic!

It’s a weird feeling. I wanted us to win so so much today but it wasn’t actually for me if that makes sense.

I wanted it for everyone I know who loves Celtic. I wanted it for those players and the management team. I wanted it for those who handed Celtic on to us.

Strange but that’s just how I feel.

If two tickets together I will certainly take them off your hands at full price and any extra service charge at a reasonable service charge :-)

  27. We have had Huns like McCann and others on tv saying that Scott Brown deserved the red card a few weeks ago….because of the SPEED of his challenge….

If that’s right to say that…then why wasn’t Stockley sent off…there was NO NEED for him to turn so quickly.

But he knew that KT was “Touch Tight” to him, and that’s why he didn’t need to move his elbow all that much, all he had to make sure of was to turn/spin as fast as possible, and that would be enough to inflict damage.

  28. Big Jimmy

In that case it couldn’t happen to a nicer person. Can we crowd fund somebody to record the happy event, excluding faces of almost all the protagonists of course.
