    She certainly is a special ghirl. Before the game while the rest of us men went on the beer she went to the Celtic shop and got everybody’s shopping including on one occasion an anniversary gift for a more forgetful type!

    Well known Irish Actor Johnny Ward being interviewed on RTE chat show. There are camera shots from his house. His bedroom is a shrine to Celtic, pics, flags bedspread etc.

    Watching footage of KT lifting the cup, what emotion is he displaying?

     

    The 6 primary emotions are happiness, fear, anger, disgust, sadness, and surprise. There are other emotion, guilt, shame, envy, jealously etc.

     

    KT looks angry, probably just as well the coward Stokely wasn’t anywhere near him as I suspect KT might have smashed the cup into his face. And who could have blamed him!

    Owen…how good is our Brendan, I used to think not a manger could equal Neil Francis but even I realise how important our Brendan is :-)

    I have just had a great day to end an amazing week, all spent in the company of the amazing Glasgowghirl. Cup Final day started with a fantastic breakfast, Al fresco cooked under the three bridges over the forth. Some strange looks from some of the natives I’m sure.

     

     

    Back into Edinburgh for some lunch in the Grassmarket then watched the final at home. If I could have scripted the end to the invincible treble, I think I would have gone for a last minute winner, that really was the fairy tale ending. Nerve wrecking mind you!

     

     

    Thought I was holding up fine till kieran showed up at the presentation, then the tears came!

     

     

    Thank you to every single person involved in making this season one of the best experiences of my life.

     

     

    Hx2 to every celt, and to all the Lisbon greats, whether picked for the final or no,legends every one. And a wee place in history for Tom Rogic too!

    Oh how good it is to be a Tim.What a day ,what a season.I’m now at the reminiscing stage. My grandfather going to Lisbon, he ran the bus for years,jumping the moat as a OAP age.My Dad taking over and running the Whitburn CSC. How proud would they have been today,But life moves on and now I have a family who are celebrating history. I’ve been part of 4 winning trebles but this is different I firmly believe this club will move to a different level in the next few years.I’m happy and contented

    I have spent this week thinking about the past, thinking about the great celts and Celtic supporters I have known and followed over the years who are no longer with us. In particular my Father who would have been mad with it this season. This is why this glory of this season is tinged with a bit of sadness for this bhoy at least.

    Watched the game in the house with my brother and son. Only had a beer when we went 2 -1 up.at the age I am

     

    55 and 10/12 I doubt I will see this again unless it’s next year or in Brendan’s reign. I know my old man , grandfather and those who went before us will be absolutely overcome with joyas we all are. This is what it means to be CELTIC. These things don’t happen by accident. It’s like life as an individual you get back what you put in. Fortunately for us we are reaping the benefit.

    Watching the closing stages again, I would love to know the stats for possession in the 3 thirds of the pitch, there was surely only going to be one winner?! Aberdeen had almost zero possession in the last ten.

    Last 20 minutes was like the Alamo.

     

     

    Only thing I could hear was the Celtic support.

     

     

    That magnificent support carried the team over the finish line.

     

     

    Chance after chance was squandered – Never cursed so much in my life – the game could easily have finished 8-3 to Celtic.

     

     

    This season has been like a dream, as The Cure once sang.

We should withdraw OUR players from Scotland duty and give the SFA Huns the ultimatum, they will not be available until they are offered protection playing for whilst playing for Celtic. Watching the game again McCann is one hurting Hun, trying to compare KT challenge with Broony on Miser. Big Feck looks like a fat ginger Alan Carr..
