    Like a dream SP.

I never imagined Celtic winning a double treble, yet now a treble treble is a distinct possibility.

    It doesn’t seem real this.

  2. GFTB, Your a star to me mate, enjoy your night. I got hit with a bad infection 10 days ago and have put down a few awful days & nights. For the first time in my life I really felt every one of my 70 years. Well I’m glad to report that after today’s win, I’m back to my normal 21, Golf Gear is in the car for the morning & I’m back in the game.

    Celtic gives you wings.

Yo Canman, Salve salve;_ That’s unusually circumspect from you, are you mellowing in your old age?

  7. Funny that Shane MacGowan wouldn’t let Johnny Depp sing Rainy Night in Soho at his recent wedding.

“Stop. I don’t want to hear it” MacGowan told Depp.

    Legend. ?

  8. Time for Eddy to have a seat on the bench.

He was exceptionally poor today. A talent no doubt, but far from the finished article

  9. Just back from the game.

    Well done, Celtic.

Tough week with an excellent finish.

  12. Just back from Hampden, log in n to have a wee read on the thoughts on the game and it’s a bun fight with a bunch of sweaty wives. Off to a Celtic site.

The personal stuff brought on here this afternoon is depressing. I am glad I don’t I understand it. I like passion but one side in this fracas is being unnnecessarily insulting. It undermines any rationale in your argument. It’s a shame. We should all be celebrating.

  14. anyways,

settled down there to watch a downloaded pirate copy of that queen film, you know that Bohemian Rhapsody.

Extremely poor post in my opinion

I personally think everyone is “special” in their own way , and if you have any sort of inferiority complex where you dont , or have never been made to feel special I am sorry for you ………………….

  16. Chill out……..good wee natural history film on BBC1…….its about painted wolves ie. wild dogs………starts at 8 0clock

  17. From the moment the first stage of the semi final ticket fiasco unfolded and Celtic were sent to Murrayfield our name was etched on the Betfred cup. and the first leg of the treble treble. ( see Paul 67 )

Hampden has become a theatre of modern miles apart Celtic who have turned winning into an art form, that’s so richly deserved by the Celtic support, whose enthusiasm is our biggest engine.

Grievance game in Edinburgh with 30,000 travelling Celtic fans felt a wee bit like Rapid Vienna in Manchester back in the day, the Celtic support were in no mood to toe the SFA line, sang as such, and seized the day along with a manager and squad of players that have continued to raise the bar higher, than all predecessors.

Celtic held on to Dedryk Boyata and sneaked in Filip Benkovic with his £12M price tag under the radar amid a largely SMSM fuelled failed transfer window, the pair have rock steadied Celtic, and set up unprecedented huddling just in time for Christmas.

Tom Rogic, James Forrest, Callum McGregor Ryan Christie,Olivier Ntcham Odsonne Edouard all on long term contracts, a mastersclass in how to run a football club. and ensure there’s petted lips a plenty for the ‘anybody but Celtic brigade.’

On any given day all Scotland cannot lay a glove on the Celtic monopoly because we simply have better players, and a manager en board a plane to line up another.

    M.O.M Filip Benkovic

  18. Obviously we did not play well, it was a scrappy game which suited Aberdeen. They started with a high tempo, pressing us and making it hard for us to find our angles with our passing. We looked a yard off the pace and couldn’t move the ball quickly enough or accurately enough. Too many players in the forward areas were off their game, Forrest, Sinclair, Rogic and Edoaurd struggled all day. They done a job on Mcgregor which prevented us from getting into our stride, expect to see much more of that going forward. Defensively we were solid enough, they huffed and puffed but clearly lacked any real quality up front to damage us, mostly relying on set species for any opportunity.

As someone else posted earlier I’m glad we missed the penalty, as we all saw the resulting furore last year when we were given a soft one. The SMSM would have revelled in the controversy to overshadow our win.

The truth is i feel there is a little bit of apathy having now won so many trophies on the bounce. I feel it in the support and i see it on the pitch. It is only minor but these are not the great occasions they once were. How it feels to be Celtic these days is to win all the time. I even found myself worrying about Motherwell on Wednesday as the game was ongoing.

    Motm – Benkovic

In September when we lost at Kilmarnock, Brendan decided he wasn’t gong to rely on the fringe players and we reverted to the tried and trusted pool of players, game in game out they have done wonderfully well but there is a cost and that cost is fatigue, as we head into the busiest and most crucial period of the season. Thankfully we have Brown and Ntcham to enter the engine room and a few others like Griff and Simunovic who should be fresh to come in and carry us through.

Overall, another day another trophy. 7 in a row is not to be sniffed at, they next one would be 8 trophies in a row and 8 titles in a row, our 50th title overall. But lets enjoy today.

  19. Kev I’m glad I made you laugh, not sure I can decipher the rest of your post but I wish you well. Life is very very short, life is for living and enjoying. Celtic is for living & enjoying.

My message to you and all posters tonight is Just be happy.

  20. 7 trophies in a row. A truly magnificent achievement. As a humble foot soldier who followed our great club home and away during the dark days from 89 to 95 when we won hee haw these are truly magical halcyon days. Hh

  21. My enduring image of today is the view of Logan’s back on the ground as Ryan’s shot hit the net.

Well done Celtic. I never thought I’d see 7 trophies in succession given all the chances for slip-ups in cup ties.

  27. My ‘live updates’ scroll back was most enjoyable and exciting. Special thanks (and apologies to those I missed) to Bognorbhoy, O.G.Rafferty, Doc, Friesdorfer, fan-A-Tic, Iveahdtochangemyname, Larrybhoy, Saint Stivs and NorrieM.

Really disappointed that the subsequent pages had petty name calling in-fights. We’ve just won our 7th trophy in a row!

On the bigger picture, I had a ‘penny (arcade) dropping moment today. Given the finances involved, sadly we are NEVER going to be a European force ever again. Having accepted that FACT, domestic dominance becomes the be all and end all for Jobo. yes, it’ll ber fantastic to avid defeat against Salzbourg and progress in the Europa. But a treble treble is much more realistic.

Half an hour till Holly CSC!!!

The next stage of Calmac’s development is to find space and find a pass when the opposition are doing a job on him like Iniesta always did:))

I wonder if Brendan can push him to do that??
