  1. I find it a wee bit ironic that the player

who was previously vilified by many for

having no heart turns out to have

the biggest and bravest heart of anyone.

  2. Gordon

Sammi not long back after an injury. It was understandable him being on bench today. Stokes & Hooper given their chance to re-kindle last season’s partnership. I thought Stokesy was poor and low on confidence ( very unlike him! He thins he’s Messi at times) and Hooper was anonymous. Again.

Sammi was stripped to come on at 2-1 and they scored again. The big man turned the game.

I read back when I got home from game and saw these two zooms!!

  3. Paddysmarket, agreed that the club don’t do enough to support the green brigade, but can’t see why you would refer to Peter Lawell being on holiday

  5. Lets get this straight. Despite recent posts (and we all have, quite rightly, fine opinions), we have been GASH in recent games and that needs to be recognised.

The great Greek got us an out of jail card today but that should not lead us to think that we are a good team. Indeed not. Work must, need be, in progress. Hopefully.

At Old Trafford just now, league more or less won,but every seat occupied.

Plenty of tri-colours on show but not one feels the need to to regale us with songs of struggle and rebellion

    Refreshing

Just stay there then! You are welcome to it

Missed the second half as I had to collect my 16 year old from police custody- he was lifted as part of the cull on the GB- check out the photos on facebook- more polis that GB weans, helicopters, dogs and armoured vans- is it because they sing too loud. They are criminalising the Celtic support

  8. St.John.Doyle on

I seem to be getting pelters on my Councillors twitter page for pointing out the disgraceful Police tactics used against the GB today.

I hope all of the victims complain to the Police officially and their Councillors and MSPs.

Salmond for his next trick can try for his own version of the N.I. Special Powers Act, he has his own political police force come the first of April.

The Police hate official complaints over-load them with these acts of harassment as complaints they dont like someone external looking at their mis-behaviour.

  9. The pictures of the police surrounding

the GB today are truly disturbing.

    There is clearly an agenda.

A court case will be involved especially for at least some of the 13 arrested. Again a disgrace for those people who will be subjected to the judicial system for the crime of walking to the match.

However depending on the charges I would expect the police to argue that they were protecting the public from disruption, public disorder etc. However we are discussing attending a football match via the normal route thousands walk from the gallowgate every second Saturday! I would expect a good lawyer to have these charges thrown out.

Make no mistake this is coming from the top and questions should be asked in parliament. The hundreds of police in the pictures are following orders and are probably bemused by the over policing for a non- violent walk to a football match.

Haven’t read back, but have seen the GB stuff on twitter.

Winning 4-3, with a last gasp goal…sitting next to the sheep today listening to mostly good banter but wondered why the GB were so quiet. A day we should rejoice at such a great comeback.

However, I am absolutely gutted with what is happening to our fellow supporters…..if I was 25 years younger, I would have been caught up in that today (as many of us would)…there for the grace of God….

It is time our Club, Associations, Trust etc, to stand together and challenge this behaviour once and for all.

    It is an absolute disgrace.

Meanwhile over in Zombieland, it’s all great atmosphere, great crowds, great banter….let’s get them into the the SPL….they bring so much, don’t they just?

    Enough to make you PUKE!

The quicker Sevco Tributeers go pop, just like Bigot Pioneers, the better.

Wee FAT ECK must have taken offence to their recent banner, which made him look slim

Just saw today’s winner. Some goal.

Watch the celebration. One of our guys grabs sammi’s vest as he in running away to celebrate (not sure who it is, dodgy you tune clip).

Anyway. The guy trying to pull Sammi back ends up spinning away and landing on his arse, whilst the big adonis stands proud and takes the aclaim.

The man is immense. Stronger than an ox.

  13. I love watching Celtic.

So sad for those of you who seemingly don’t.

PS – I wouldn’t worry about those leaving early… they are the same people who leave when we’re winning 2-1 but under the cosh. They are not worth anyone’s concern.

it may be co-incidence that he is on holiday when

to days events kicked off ??

  15. I may be wrong, but I think there is a spy in the stands,a so called Celtic supporter, who’s own ambition comes before Celtic, there is nothing worse than a quisling, you know who you are.

  16. Sammi is the Mhan. There is no kwestion about that! What a goal!!!

  17. It must be great being perfect.

    I would reckon.

Because I’m far from it, further from being able to define it.

To suppose that people hate watching Celtic…

    What a pile of keech…

  18. Paddysmarket,

I would be surprised if he planned his holidays around green brigades corteo, was this not arranged very recently, most holidays are planned well in advance

  19. Any CQNers know if any CQNers are in ballybofey tonight? Im here for the paddys day festivities and a busload of scottish immigrants have landed in the bar…

  21. Yeh you are probably correct , and here was me thinking

that at the buisiness end of the year the CEO would want to

be around when the plaudits were being handed out.

  22. Back home after the game, being there from the first second to the last it seems to me that there was no urgency until we were three one down. Support didn’t start until we got the second goal. After the start I expected more. There were boos when Stokes was coming off, personally I thought it was a good move, I was not impressed with his performance prior to that. Too many loose balls and bad decisions! Commons was keen to move the ball and when Sammi came on we could see a totally different team. Brilliant result and of course exciting to the last. Reminded me of 88 don’t leave until the final whistle!!!

With regards the GB seen all the vans goin past the Tollbooth. Police were ready for them and clearly over the top. Letters to MSPs , MPs an Councillers need to be written, emailed etc. as someone said earlier would we see this type of policing at orange marches, perhaps we should!!!

IMO your post reflects poorly on your self

    and the blog.

25yrs ago tonight, yon deid club got pumped by Steau Bucharest, later that night, into the early hours of 17th March i asked my girlfriend to marry me, she said aye. Just spent a lovely evening in Merchant City, after todays game, celebrating our 25th engagement. Love Celtic & her :-))

  25. Paddysmarket, hardly see any plaudits being handed out this week, but you have your view and I will have mine, at least we can agree that the green brigade need more support from the club

  26. Am I the only one who thinks it’s suspicious that Peter Lawwell has gone on holiday when that giant Easter egg went missing?
