An excellent document , fantastic graphics, simple explanations of how the finances of UEFA top keagues stack up. Those in charge will claim Financial Fair Play is working, so many clubs in profit, so many infrastructure projects, players getting the wages, but the ratios are good and sustainable.
Whisper it, the plc does a great business finance job, given where we are located. But for me PL still shouldnt be paid at the level he is.
Much of the report is stating the bleeding business obvious but very good in how it is laid out, and the language used.
But then, in one category, credibility goes out the window, and I quote
Matchday punters again make the biggest contribution in Scotland
Once again, gate receipts made the largest contribution to total revenue in Scotland (40%), where
Rangers FC returned to the top flight after a number of years in the lower leagues, leading to a 76%
increase in gate receipts in 2017.

100% agree that a lot of the songs the Green Brigade are singing are embarrassing and should be consigned to history. I sang these in the 70’s/80’s but they are meaningless and drag our club down to the same gutter level that the majority Sevco supporters inhabit.

I blame Cameron for the current insanity. He and his fellow ‘entitled’, Osborne dreamt up this referendum wheeze. Was it about democracy? Was it about giving the people a say?
No, the whole squalid business was nothing more than a false prospectus to prevent a bloodbath in the Tory party.
And when Cameron fouled the nest, what did he do? Take responsibility? No, he slunk off. As big a villain as we’ve seen in centuries of villainy.

Just because songs emanate from the seated area some posters assume that the songs mist be GB generated. That is not the case.
I’m ok. Haven’t received your emails apart from 1 about 2 weeks ago, to which I replied.
I’ll be in Cardonald tomorrow; you could try ringing me there @ lunchtime. I’m meeting Dennis on Tuesday afternoon here, if you want to join us.

You are easily pleased if you think the board and PL are doing a good enough job.
Fill a 60K stadium in Western Europe — the finances should be better than they currently are.
Also the figure you highlight — 76% increase in SPL attendances.
That is not all down to the TFOD2.1 getting promotion.
A lot of that is down to BR getting the crowds back and the covers off the top half of the LL.

No GB — no atmosphere or so they say.
Now you are telling us that the militaristic dirges are all the fault of others.
People who sit to watch their football rather than those who stand?
Plus the GB respectfully shut up the Clearasil Republicans start !?!

The Board like the stupid songs, makes them look strong at AGMs,when they get asked to comment on it,a squirrel when it comes to filling time and not addressing serious issues.

I doubt the anti-Protestant songs are coming from the Green Brigade, but I stand to be corrected on that.
At our first match this season against the huns, and again at Murrayfield, large sections of our fans were singing songs and chants that many here object to.
Just to be clear, I welcome people of all faiths, and none, to Celtic Park.
My wife is a “proddy”; a massive Tim and a better person than me. If we are still thinking these songs are worthy of an audience at CP then we need to seriously think again.

Daft wee boys do daft wee things and sing daft wee songs.
`Twas always thus .
Hands up who didn`t .
Their offensive songs should be seen in that context .
But nevertheless condemned and efforts made to stop the practice .
Just like big Jock did.
He voted with his feet onto the terracing and confronted the daft wee boys and their daft wee parents who schooled them in the practice .
Anyway. Anything happening in Derry these days ?

If the Board were privately asked to describe the Celtic support in 10 words, what would they come up with? Its an important question because they see the Celtic support as customers. If we understand what they think of us as a whole maybe we can begin to understand why the don’t bother with Governance etc. After all, why should customers give a toss about Governance?
I didn’t hear the Green Brigade or anyone else singing the “ no prodestants “ line last night but then again my ears were trying to ignore the crap coming from the other corner beside the main stand .
I’ve only been in the standing section a couple of times, and not been in this season.
On the previous visits, the original, Dublin, Belfast, Cork….. was clear.
In mho it was also welcome.
Why would the GB change the words ?
