Craig Gordon won the night, and will be player of the year if he continues as is. Wasn’t happy when he signed, but humble pie eaten in spades, and I’m very glad he did now.
3 points and a clean sheet, what’s not to like? Whole team looked shagged come the final whistle.
That second half was brutal. We managed to get through it…how?..I don’t know!

Glad we brought in an EPL youth player on loan…
We could have been a lot better tonight but I think that is a graduation for a lot of this squad. Players will be knackered and they need to start playing closer together but being able to hold a lead in a game like that shows we aren’t a one trick pony.
Well done Celts, sometimes not pretty but it’s a step forward for both the players and the magnificent TD’s Green Brigade.

Backs to the wall at times,everyone played their part to the utmost.
Thought we looked much tighter in midfield when Kayal came on,and even in the last minute,Leigh Griffiths showed more common sense than most when he ran it to the corner.
Unlucky on Zagreb,who probably will feel they deserved a draw.

Not a single player should be pleased with their individual or the team performance. Our last 2 performances have been shocking. On the positive side we have won both games, but I am not seeing where this team is going under the new management team. Our ball possession is extremely poor. Ronny said he was all about performances when he arrived. Will be interesting to hear his views on that one.
Great result against a dangerous team. Gordon was magnificent again, as was Brown.

i would just like to apologise for not contributing more to the updates but i could not do it for the lack of fingernails, peering from between fingers and not being able to take my eyes off the game……think my nerves are shot to pieces as well!
Oh… And Gordon for me has so far been better and more consistent than FF at his best.

Naw, I was 101 percent against the idea. Glad we did now, but not going to be any kind of hypocrite.
Very happy. We lost the plot for the first 20 mins of the second half and it was a bit panicky at the end but I thought some of our movement was good.
Wow, a 3 points that we were lucky and grateful to get IMO. Some of our 2nd half fitba was……dire.

Aye, carried a wee bit of luck in the second half, but how many times have we seen oor luck run oot. Every player worked hard for the team but big questions to be asked about the second half collapse and why we couldn’t re-organise to counter DZ.
Still a win is a win and we played some good stuff at times.

Obviously it’s good to win,but we are far too easily got at.
DZ had 54 % possession and 20 shots on target.

Less than impressed with the set up of our side and the quality of player we are watching.

That was tight.
Defence was pretty good. Denayer 1 mistake, Ambrose 1 mistake.
Midfield really open. Brown really good tonight. Bullied them. But they have some really nice moves too.
Bit toothless in the box. Our best move was the goal in the 5th minute. They really should have got one on the run of play.
Craig Gordon .. He is absolute world class. He has won us 4 points from this group.
