    Well done Celtic you earned that win with hard graft Rony is getting through to the players Craig Gordon a great game Stoksie worked his socks off Broonie a true captain.There was not really a failure in the team and Zagreb are no mugs they played very well but we fought for the win which will surely help lift confidence. H.H.

    well we clung on there Bhoys but every player showed a massive desire to throw themselves in the way of shots and make tackles and run their socks off and thankfully that was enough to win against a very dangerous team, we were totally over run a lot in that second half but WON!!!

     

     

    Craig Gordon was immense, Scott brown was immense, Van Dyke and Denayer were immense even Efe Ambrose remembered he is a defender and actually defended, made tackles and cleared the ball from danger!!!

     

     

    Don’t think the ticker could take much more of that 2nd half though

    With a fit Forrest, Lustig, Matthews and available Guidetti we might have won comfortably.

    Well that was murder to watch. Once again big CG was our MOTM.

     

     

    I only hope we kick on from here. We desperately need to get some semblance of a regular starting 11 that will allow us to start playing with some fluency.

     

     

    That’s another game that would have been lost if it wasn’t for our goalie.

    Gordon was excellent. The back four was good. Brownie was terrific.

     

     

    Stefan put in a helluva shift but still misplaces a lot of passes.

     

     

    Wide boys plenty effort.

     

     

    BUT… KC and Stokes – apart from great link up play did hee haw.

     

     

    KC really is tough to fathom. May create and score now and again but is usually rank for 80 minutes in Europe. 2nd half the ball kept coming back at us.

     

     

    Lustig, Forrest and Guidetti in that team and we are much stronger.

    One last thing – I am usually a positives guy but please please please, no more Berget. Even for the last 10. He runs a lot. He looks kinda like he’s closing people down but he isn’t really and he has no confidence on the ball.

     

     

    Probably a bloody nice chap, but unless he does something dramatic to prove otherwise, he should not be in a Celtic Jersey.

     

     

    Also, get a haircut.

    Well done Celts. People like MnCelt will never be satisfied. Tremendous individual performance from Craig Gordon. The importance of fitness -as preached by RD – clearly evident. Good substitutions also.

    One worry is that we’re going back to the old Celtic tradition of playing midgets.

     

     

    No height in midfield or attack.

     

     

    I saw Izzy get targeted with one high ball. Surely left backs like Cole and Evra had this issue ?

    Im a big critic of Deila , i think the guys a dud…but …we are on 4pts from 2 games ..

     

    Win the next 2 games gives us 10 pts…that would be terrific…i aint into diets and fitness , im into results.

    Can’t believe some guys on here saying we were awful, we bloody well were not. They are a very decent team, ok we rode our luck at times but we had some brilliant passages of play as well. Tremendous effort from all our Bhoys, I’m delighted, look at our injury list for God’s sake, stop running down the team. They worked their socks off for us to-night, I for one am just thrilled.

    A team grows on nights like that especially when you are put under so much pressure. Early days for this team but that’s 4 points in the bag. So well done the Bhoys.

    We got toe ended in the second half…..Zagrebs finishing was poor

     

     

    I thought we looked leggy in the second half….Deila seems mad for fitness …despite his traducing of Lenny’s team I don’t see any improvement …

    Take CG and rank rotten DZ finishing out of the equation and we would be looking at a real doin’ at home. I don’t see any obvious signs of improvement either but hope that RD can ‘walk the walk’ as well as he ‘talks the talk’ however little evidence of that thus far in his fledging career as a big team manager.

    Delighted for Ronny. He has a lot of work with this squad though. We need to invest our funds just as the likes of Porto do. We are light years behind them unfortunately.

    Massively thankful for the 3 points. We were well outplayed 2nd half but are greatly happy with the win.

    I also thought Tonev did ok, playing wide left and supporting Izzy often.

     

    For me outwith the pass for the goal, I thoughts Anthony Stokes was poor, in last 10 mins, he gave away several really soft fouls, pulling DZ on top of us, poor

     

    Team, really played decent in 1st half

     

    Fell apart in 2nd, as we lost midfield

     

     

    Only my opinion

     

     

    But delighted for the bhoys, and to be fair, that’s now 5 or 6 games in a row, without defeat :-)

     

    Things Must be Getting Better :-)
