Maybe last weeks result at Aberdeen has given the player a wake up call that they have to put the effort in every game.

There are surprisingly few West brits in Dublin
Far more of them to be found in Belfast
One thing that surprised me about today’s game …. the second half seemed as open, if not more open than the first ….
I get that, if a team is down a goal, they have to throw caution to the wind and attack at the end to try to get an equalizer …. but, usually, once a team is down a few goals, and the game is realistically over, more often than not, they losing team will simply try to shut up shop and keep the score respectable …
I suspect our superior fitness (at least compared to most teamws in the SPL) was a factor today …. but was still a bit surprised that a team coached by PH (whom I like) didn’t (wasn’t able to?) shut up shop a bit more …. although as a Celtic fan, I appreciated it as some of the football we played at the end was fun to watch ….

I have seen Dundee a couple of times this season and have been impressed with the style of football they try to play.
It possibly contributed to the fact that they got a doing today, but I hope they don’t change
The only downside from today is that Dundee’s proper football approach gave us space and led to a doing. There will be a few managers thinking that’s exactly what happens when you don’t stick ten men behind the ball for 90 minutes.
Still, that’s for another day. Got to love the free flowing football. Passing and movement, pace and energy.

I agree that we no longer need to hunt down Celtic Clubs.
However, in many ways, I miss that….and the fact that easier access had led to the demise of many CSC’s.
I have enjoyed the hospitality of CSC’s in Sydney, Melbourne, Paris – and a great many places in Canada and the USA. Sometimes, trying hunt down a wee bar at odd hours of the night (or morning).
That being said, I doubt that there is a CSC here in Estoril – and what better place…..!
Still, an enjoyable afternoon all round.

6-0 going on 16-0, man of the match by a mile was the Dundee keeper. Our MOTM was Tom Rogic, not sure who picks MOTM in the stadium but they’d obviously had a good day in hospitality!!

… I have only seen PH’s teams play a few times, but have thought much the same … his teams try to, and usually do, play decent football ….. hopefully, that will continue, as football is supposed to be about entertainment, and today was enjoyable to watch
always like PH as a player … if he continues to learn his trade, I would not be surprised or disappointed to see him at Celtic in a few seasons.

Back from game. Never made JS stand or Kerrydale! Kerrydale full(apologies to Lennybhoy) persuaded steward to let me in at usual entrance due to my Grammy leg not conducive to upper stands to find daughter had backed 5 0 because usual 6 0 not on coupon and wit happens 6 0!! At least I met weefratim in the park and had a wee blather !! CMON THE HOOPS!! Actually a good day:)
I have been saying for weeks that Aberdeen had improved from last season with their new signings, this will be down to out meetings with them to decide who comes out on top this season.
EA was immense this afternoon.
