Bumped into him as he was walking onto the stage in Madison Sq G. Partner was wearing a Stewart tartan mini skirt (No it was not Marspapa! honest!) She got a big hug and was all starry eyed! Great gig, perfect music, I loved the mandolins and violins. takes about two days to wind down from his gigs. Now, if i was 6 inches taller, 4 stones lighter, handsome, and could sing;- I could be his double!
A big thank you to all the moonhowlers last night. Couldn’t sleep, wide awake at 3 am till 6 , but enjoyed all the music especially Roy Orbison, a delightful voice. me jealous? naw, no much, aye right! Off to dream in the arms of Morpheus ? If we play like today, the Great Wall of China won’t hold us back.
I wonder if Ronnie will rest a few first team players in preparation for the Hertz and Fenerbahce games.
This could be a good chance to start Ciftci and hopefully add to his total.
I once heard a story long, long ago, when I was till a wee bhoy.
Puskas had said the Hungarian team in training routinely played against inferior lower league sides to build team confidence and understanding.
……..
And in late breaking news
Extra wifi facilities were introduced into Cuba today.
Ostensibly it was to accommodate the TV transmission of the Pope’s visit, BUT
Inside unnamed sources tell us it was so El Papa could see today’s game on Celtic TV.

some good goals yesterday. Nice to see Izzy amongst them.
Sad thing is though, even if we win every domestic game 6-0 from now until the end of the season, we still wont fill the empty seats, the damage was done early on in the season (before the league had even begun in earnest) with our CL results
Best we can hope for is to do some damage in the EL to try to restore some credibility.
Ajax away result wasnt too bad either

Sitting watchin the Rod Stewart concert in Brazil on TV. Great result today, very nice result against ajax, and I won at poker today! Whats not to like!
Never knew he made it so obv he is a fan, showing Celtic goals against the dead tax dodgers, kicking footballs into the crowd, looks like great fun.

Fascinating to see Roy after his big hit phase.
And his renaissance with the Wilburys.
Harmony vocal in the first track added later?
Jimmy Tarbuck.When Liverpool ruled.
Their team even beat Celtic that year on a disallowed goal.
A live cross to the game showed Celtic fans expressing their disapproval in the time honoured fashion of the day.
Bottles.
Apparently Bill Shankly offered to pay Celtic`s cut by cashing in the empties.
Really enjoyed the game earlier, thought Rogic was excellent.
Heard this during the match but couldn’t make out what song it was.

Andy Murray takes carries his brother and team to a Davis Cup Final.
Tom Brady and Patriots win
El Papa is having a wee vacation in Havana
And
Green Bay have a 10 point lead at the half.
All the sceptics are in hiding,
the towel throwers have retreated to their Turkish baths,
the search parties looking for Ronny’s dressing room have discovered it was under the main stand all this time, and
the media will have to invent other fictions to provide false hopes for the zombies.
I hear the Raith Rocers side is having a crash course in brick building in preparation for Wednesday’s visit to the home of the Champions
I was out all day, mass followed by a visit down the Shore on a gorgeous sunny afternoon.
So it’s time to read back reaction after the game.
I wonder how many posts before the first “It’s on,y Dundee” mention.
