Almore – great post. There are few clubs I’m the world game who can truly make the claim to be more than just football clubs. You’ve summed up part of the reason we are one of those special few.

Cheers for the positive comments.
FanadPatriot: there is no doubt that Celtic have lost a lot of ground here and elsewhere to the EPL.
However, that ‘support’ for EPL teams isn’t as great as some people imagine. I know many of these ‘EPL’ supporters. Most of them cheer on their team from home or the local pub. Few make the journey to support their team beyond once a year or a big birthday.
When I fly over, Celtic supporters easily outnumber all EPL team supporters in Dublin airport.
With only 4 out of 6 fixtures played, and a couple of surprise results, we have Joint winners in Jonny the Tim and Tirconnel with 5.5 points. 6 posters were joint 3rd with 5 points. 20 brave souls predicted a draw for Ross County but only 2 voted for a Livi win vs Hibs. No wooden spoon was awarded as 11 of our group scored 1 point only (plus they will wait till the results of the rearranged fixture come out).
This part-finished week leaves the same first 3 on the overall leaderboard
1- Hopeful Hoops
2- Call me Gerry
3- Big Archie
Of those regularly playing, Chalmers Bhoy is holding up the table but is within touching distance of Majestic Hartson and Park Road 67.
Next Fixtures start on Tuesday at 19.45 with a further small fixture on Wednesday night. I will be missing for a few days after tomorrow as I’m down in London and will be eating out and using my Celtic FC Pass instead of being at CP on Wednesday night (prolonging my record of never having seen the new Ibrox mob live).
So there will be no updates or prompts unless someone else does the reminders- so get your predictions in early. I will be back here on Friday, hopefully beaming over Wednesday’s outcome

One report here saying they want Wee Alfie,(dont like to be disrespectful, good Catholic boy,and great to his Mammy ),on loan with view to buy.Don’t see a price.Only one I can find.
I will be happy if he goes.He wins them so many games.Against us,he has nearly always been dangerous,a mix of bad finish or bad luck,or great saves,he could be on a few goals.
An ex-pat, adversary of Ange in the A league, in particular, his observations about Ange’s feelings regarding ex Celtic players comments in the media round about 20 mins in.
Robbie Keane, Artur and big Fraser were fantastic loan signings but if we win the league then CCV and Jota are easily the best and most influential by a mile.
Let’s just enjoy their performances and if they sign at the end of the season?……Magic.
Scéal iontach suimiúil Almore. Bhain mé sult as an leagan eile – Almór! Bhí sé níos fusa domhsa mar gur rugadh í nGlaschú me agus tógadh i nDún na nGall mé ó bhí mé 6 bliana d’aois. Mar sin bhí mé in Albain i 1967 ach ar an drochuair níl cuimhne do laghad agam air mar nach raibh mé ach 3.

I would like us to bring in a cheeky loan signing before the window closed – or announce Jota just before the game.
If we pay 6m we will sell for 30 – he’s that good!

Ref Nadal. The world knows he is a cheat. Yet he is a popular one regardless.
I always felt his absences and Novaks seemed to be weird as they were always followed by superhuman performances.
Andy Murray was definitely the victim as he was against these 2 when he was in his prime.

Rumours of Moreloss to Fenerbache,Kent to Leeds
————
Is there a wannabe gangsta/ goth crossover convention happening in Leeds?
Al
Great post
If rumours of Kent and morelos are true (big if) it doesn’t weaken them in terms of first pick players in my opinion, but it would weaken the squad.
Then again, plant a few rumours and either get much needed cash in the bank or get no offers and paint it as keeping the squad in tact for the run in.
