    Yesterday we had 14 corners.

     

    The majority taken by O’Riley and the majority of them were excellent deliveries.

     

    As usual none of our centre backs managed to get an attempt on goal.

     

    But this is the thing I noticed.

     

    Our 2 tallest players , Bitton and Scales weren’t even in the box.

     

    Bitton was positioned about 25yds from goal and Scales just short of the halfway line.

     

    Could anyone enlighten me as to thought process to behind that. Or does it just show that we have no plan with corners.

     

     

    Also didn’t think Scales deserved to be subbed at halftime, although Forrest did.

    A wee observation that if the top 6 stays as it is we will go to any 2 from Pittodrie or Tynecastle or Easter Rd or Fir Park 3 x this season.

     

     

    Sevco will go to 2 of the above only once.

     

     

    This feels a bit of bad luck for Celtic to me.

     

     

    More Away games vs the bottom 6 (as Sevco will enjoy) is typically easier than Tynecastle or Pittodrie I would have thought.

    2 late goals this weekend could yet turn out to be pivotal. We’ll see what the next game brings.

     

    We’re not perfect yet and I’d still like to see Ang having more support. Still have a niggling doubt that he oft appears isolated.

     

    Personally, I find JHB’s posts interesting. Seems an honest guy. Calls it as he sees it.

    That has been the case for several seasons.

     

     

    I think it correlates with the number of corners won and the lack of goals resulting from them.

     

     

    And the recent improvement in the taking of corners seems to have gone into reverse.

     

     

    Which isn’t good.

     

     

    I just hope Rogic is available for Wednesday, he’s badly missed.

    Only slightly worried that Brendan was shopping for some quality centre back material such as CCV.

     

     

    Wishing Nadal could turn this game around; always been my favourite tennis star even if he supports Real.

     

     

    Medvedev’s dressed like he found the washed-out sample of a Celtic 4th kit from the 1980s.

    Young Scales was subbed because he couldn’t get the ball out his feet quick enough, allowing Utd to cut out the ball to Reo , hence the whole left side did not really work that well in the 1st half … still good win yesterday, from our vantage point looked like Greg had a 2 handed shove in the back before Nir in turn pushed their forward to the ground ….

     

     

    Comfortable win on Wednesday 2-0 … Huns will sit back and try and hit on the counter down our left side so Josip at left back for me for pace

    och the usual, our players are rubbish, they cant defend or score goals, they let the other teams defenders defend and their goalkeeper makes saves, we dont run around enough and other times we run too much we have too many lightweight foreign loans and not enough academy players coming through, forrest is finished, hart is a bombscare starfelt is feart, biton is a nighmare, and the rest of them are just poor players,

     

    all the big greek does is miss sitters, goe mak a misses thats what i call him,

     

     

    then there is the traffic, i had to leave twenty minutes early.

     

     

    so did youse get beat then ?

    A few observations from yesterday.

     

     

    Great support roared their team to victory. An upbeat last 15 minutes rewarded.

     

     

    Oh how sooooo enjoyable seeing Celtic ambling back to the centre after the goal. Dundee Utd waiting so impatiently. Karma, after such time wasting tactics.

     

     

     

    While waiting on a corner Joe Hart playing with a separate ball in his own 6 yard box. Great excuse for the officials to chalk off a goal at the other end.

     

     

    HH to all, the journey continues.

    exactly this.

     

    I watched several times James off on a print, and scales couldnt get the ball to him fast enough, it did work maybe 3 times, and james set up two chances with it. even so i thought it was a brave decision to take them off at halftime.

    The ” arrogance” in most of his Posts are staggering. His Post from last night or was it Today ( ?) is Feckin CREEPY.

     

    I believe that HE thinks that ALL that really matters on here is HIS Posts/Opinions, and his latest Post about HIS ” ” Considered Assessment” of Celtics season until the end of January 2022, is some kind of ” Official Assessment” from someone in the Media and/or INSIDE Celtic FC itself ?

     

    He views HIS ” Considered Assessment” as being akin to ” The Sue Gray Report”, in which we are MOSTLY or ALL desperate and/or anxious to read, and nothing could be further from the Truth. HIS Views/Opinions are NO MORE VALID than mine or anyone elses on here, but every time he Types a Post HE seems to think that HE is addressing others who are NOT WORTHY of supporting Celtic and having an opinion on Celtic….or for that matter..Politics.

     

    Do NOT forget, this ” JHB CHUMP” decided a while ago that 60% are Sectarian and THICK ! That was how HE described the Celtic support.

     

    I am NOT aware of ANYONE on here who has MET and SPOKEN to 60% of the Celtic support, in fact I am NOT Aware of ANYONE…ANYWHERE… who has MET with, and SPOKEN to 60% of the Celtic support ?
