  1. Sandaza on Shortbread:

Knows nothing of any bid from Ratners despite Sally’s comments.

  3. Joe Filippis Haircut on

Tommy Joad. Whats the big news about fatty McCoist giving a masonic handshake ? It would have been big news if he hadnt.H.H,

  4. ibleed – several posters earlier suggested the handshake between Sally and St J number 2 Tommy Wright was very objectionable in a masonic way.

Captured live on ESPN – didn’t see it myself.

    Hail hail mate

a long time ago you claimed that you didnt too much about football

you’re always hyping up the youths the untried youths

you were not fond of stan, aiden and broonie – all at times when they were very sellable

just who the hello are you and what are you up to

everyone has an opinion and all should be respected but traits are something different altogether

now you might just want more out of these players and are showing your frustration with them

if so – then fair enough

but sometimes i feel that you have been out at the jiggin on a full weekender and the come down is

    sending you mental

but more than happy to be wrong

    Sir Kojo.

    Ah wouldn’ae say Broonie wiz a waste o’ space…

But he disnae bring enough tae the pairty tae justify automatic selection in oor burgeoning young team…

    He lacks creativity…

If he is permanently a starter,it severely limits oor tactical options.

For instance,Young Forrest is at his most effective oan the right wing, and should not be shunted over tae the left,to accommodate Maister Broonie..

On the ither hand, when Commons is restored tae full fitness on the left,Broonie certainly has a role.

Will be interesting tae see if Lustig shapes up well at right back,as I would like to see Young Matthews pushed up to right middie,as he will bring mair tae the pairty. Versatility is the Key !

Make the ither team defend on the back foot, then they willnae be comin’ forward causin’ mischief…

    Right ?Maks sense tae me…

  7. The Wey we wur Playin in the Foist Half..

Ah felt sure that we wid Run Up a Cricket score ..

Should be trying tae Figger oot..

Whit Happened tae us..in the Second Hauf?

    There must be a reason.

Although, Ah did notice, that Gary wiz very Subdued.. maist of the Game

And in the Second Hauf..oor Strike Team.. went A.W.O.L.

    Yep..

We need a Striker..wan who disnae play maist of the Time

wi’ his Back tae his Opponents goal.. and Passes the Ba’

  8. Well done to Paul Lambert and Norwich -victory over WBA takes them to 9th place in the Premiership.

Amazing stuff for a club who must have one of the smallest budgets in that league.

  9. Fraser-couple of good saves but think he should have done better at goal

    Mathews-first poor game for us

    Rogne- commanding

    Mulgrew-good

Izzy-played well for first game back

    Brown very good

Vic- excellent but tired at end

    Samaras-very good first faded second

ledley-quiet was hoping to see him more involved

Stokes out of sorts but good pass for Hooper goal and great shot end of first

Hooper-excellent and worked his socks off

    Ki- typically anonymous

    Commons good

Coaches-great first half and poor second

  10. The Singing Detective on

Don’t know why Stokesie was taken off..

    Didn’t look injured,but..

    Maybe just a precaution..

However,it emphasises why we must bring in another orthodox striker,in the remaining half of this transfer window..

    And no waifs or strays…

  11. “I would be extremely worried if I was a rangers fan,” Steve Lomas

That means we should all be extremely happy!

  12. up over goal,

NFL is the only man on earth I want managing Celtic for the forseeable.

But cant help thinking Paul Lambert will inhabit the Parkhead dugout at some point in the next 20 years.

  13. fan-a-tic

I thought Matthews was poor the last time we played DU at Tannadice – maybe they know how to play him.

    He’s young and therefore inconsistent.

  14. midfield maestro on

Thought Scott Brown was very poor on right today.

Listening to Neil on radio on way home from game does anyone know what he meant when saying ‘other things going on outside of Parkhead’, other than new baby, when talking about Stokes?

  15. Joe Fillipi – I was kinda hoping your madness last night was drink fuelled – but alas no :)

  16. Sorry meant to say I was listening to Radio Scotland – they where criticising Sandaza for having the gall to say no to Rangers. Hilarious.

  17. We made the second half hard for ourselves today. In saying that, Utd played very well second half.

Another test of character for our young team, who seen it through and picked up 3 points.

  18. The Singing Detective.

    Pal.

The Reason that Ye Believe that Broonie is no A Waste of Space,

is Because you are No Me!

    Right?

Ah am Me.. and Ah say that Broone ,should Nevah hiv bin made

    Captain.

    And because of that.

He is Enjoying a Bit of Prestige that he Disnae Merit..

He is a Common or Garden…well.. Gardener!

If he wiz stripped of the Captaincy..

    His Light wid Go Oot!

And people wid realize that he is No worth an Automatic Berth.

    Ye are Correct…

Young Forrest is being forced tae Play oan the Left..

And this is Not Jamsies best Berth ..

He wiz playing like a Champion oan the Right..

    Noo.. that Broonie is Back..

A Lambert/Lennon management team was the dream I consoled myself with during the moribund Mowbray months.

Don’t know who’d have backed down to be Asst manager – rock, paper scissors?

  21. Rob the gob and Gordhun of Govan on shortbread are but hun sheep who have been shepherded

by the chief goat Jabba et al into Ranglers city..where sheriff officers and arrestments are with the utmost dignity completely ignored in full glare the bought and paid for loyalist guardians whose honed penmanship under a succession of Edmiston emporers has become in the theatrical sense entirely farcical to the point where the rotten tomatos throwed for a dereliction of duty becomes but a smudge of honour;a five star badge of distinction the parallel decades of triumphalism their cheat inspiring words in copy filed print have encouraged.

    Kojo….

    I support yee.

    It’s all about balance.

We have sacrificed balance in the middle of the park to accomodate Broonie since he came back fae injury..

  24. Who the hell is the Irish goon on Shortbread saying there is no possibility of Rangers going out of business and that it would adversely affect Celtic as there would be no object of our obsession?? Who is this guy???

    TJ

  25. Since Scott Brown came back into the team we have dropped how many points?

    Take your time bigot.

  26. Radio Scotland – Celtic need Rangers blah blah blah – somehow I cant remember the outcry when we were supposedly 10 mins from oblivion

  28. celtic *o* lennon * KANO 1,000 * on

On way home from game closer than it should’ve been but good win. 12 in a row job done. Fantastic save by Fraser to keep it 2-1, thought Izzy should have been off much sooner he was running on empty for a good 10 mins.

  29. Tommy Joad – he is called Tom English, he writes for the Scotsman (I think – might be wrong) and he despises Celtic (well he is on Radio Scotland)

  30. Another 3 points in the bag, well done Celtic. Important to keep our defensive hats on after Utd scored whilst always looking to counter. Would like us to go for Baba or

equivalent as i think another quality striker with a presence as well as ability would improve our goal tally,it would also up our existing strikers game. A centre back, i’d

wait till the summer, as with Rogne, Mulgrew, K Wilson, Loovens, Lustig, Majstorovic to return early february and of course Wanyama who i feel we need more in centre mid, we are well enough covered imo. That said i worry about big Vic being targeted by the mibs and hatchet merchants with Beram being out, anyone else notice the mibs reaction 2nd half when Wanyama took a dull thud in the head from Daly and had the audacity to complain about it, the mib raced up and started hectoring Vic with a gusto i’ve seen many times before. We need to be sure we can cover for any losses which we hopefully don’t incur.

  31. Dushanbe – not referring to the ref.

NI fella Tommy Wright (SJ No 2) and Sally at FT.

No issues with a fellow Celt addressing me affectionately irrespective of abbreviations !!!
