Great result.
The best thing Sammy did today was delaying the penalty, the longer between an award and a penalty being taken the more likely a miss or save. I read that somewhere once.
Great save from FF, and a cracking goal.
Keep the pressure on them.

Played first half in midfield, moved to centre back
and scores a spectacular winner.
The last player i saw with that amount of
versality was Chris Sutton.

it wasn’t spotted properly?

If the ball wasn’t placed correctly then Sammi was correct – remind me , what did Murray do ?
In saying that , I thought Murray exemplified the very thing we are up against. While mibbery can affect the game , it will. Solution? Score 3 goals in first 10 minutes – then you take them out of the equation.

I couldnt make the game today so having just watched the penalty incident, Sammi, quite rightly points out tothe ref that the ball is not on the spot, he then walks away.
Just how that constitutes “disgraceful” behavior is beyond me
I enjoyed that game and would love to see this penalty again but I have a dilemma! Got an empty house, now should I watch Real V Barca or go down the pub and wind up the Hertz fans

Your experience spunds terrible, were you with friends? I didn’t notice any aggressive behavior by anyone, the green brigade were excellent as always, they must have some energy jumping around like that all the time :)
Victor Mugabe Wanyama’s Kenya have not qualified for the CAF.

still cant fathom out whether it was for hand ball or a foul.

As for Sammi’s gamesmanship, I don’t think it was gamesmanship. He was correctly pointing out the ball wasn’t on the spot. Nothing wrong with that at all. In fact, if anything, it was the refs lack of willingnes to have the ball spotted properly that was the biggest contributor to the delay. The penalty taker eventually spots it.
AND!!!! Having said all that, it took NOTHING away from the strike, which was a good one. FF’s save was superb. Take nothiong away from that!!!!! :)))))))

i have just watched the penalty incident. it is very difficult to see exactly what happened but that is not the point. the point is that the referee gave the decision against celtic. if that had been rangers against hearts at ibrox and rangers were ahead by one goal there is no way on god’s good earth that the referee would have given a penalty. we all know what is going down in scottish football.
the more things change the more things stay the same.

the referee doesnt signal or whistle for the penalty until the Hearts players who arent as well sighted as he is scream for a penalty.

In from the game, fed and watered, and now for the Barca game……..thought some of our players (in the first half) were thinking about Thursday, but we still dominated a good game….Hearts actually play quite well when playing against a good footballing team like us…….enjoyed the game, and never thought they looked like scoring…..started to wonder if it was going to be another one of those days……..left early, to miss the traffic, so missed the penalty, but saw it on Sky Sports……….what a save…!!!!!……Fraser is a great shot stopper……!!!…..I have always had confidence in his ability…….
I was appaplectic with laughter listening to radio snyde going appaplectic with panic and anxiety when their favoured team were playing shoite in the first half at Easter Road (does that hail from (Easter (Monday) Road….!!!!……..they really are a shower of FUDS……LOL….!!!
Some crowd today, and the GB..?……FANtastic, as were the test of the crowd also……

They will work out what the penalty was for once they have seen the replay several times. :)
I really hope we were smart enough to send sopme one along to the refs room after the game to have the offical reason the penalty was given, before they got the chance to do the above.

Sammy is a clever player. He has limitations as a striker, but not as a team player.
Hope they find the idiot who attacked you and ban him from Celtic Park, and the law deals with him as well.
not sure about the rules but the ball was off the center of the penalty spot and Sammi pointed it out – the Hearts players were time wasting all afternoon.. VICTORy is sweet..

I’ve always thought that big Foster looks nervous and lacks confidence.
Maybe today will give the bhoy a much needed boost. His team mates couldn’t have been more pleased for him.
Celtic will need to have games out of site and dont give the mibs a chance to sneek in a last min penalty for a draw or a win God help us!!!
The long wait is over……I was VERY disappointed today when the crowd got on Wanyama’s back because of a couple of wayward passes early on……what is that all about….we’re supposed to be supporting the team……fortunately he got his confidence back pretty quickly, but that’s ‘not on’……totally counter-productive…!!!
