Lost both Celtic TV and CQN for the late drama
Tic TV returned just in time to see Celtic defend corner after FF saved.
Replay not definitive as to why Hearts got the penalty.
Looks like Brown was rubbing it into Hearts players at the end.
James Forrest was victim of a terrible tackle at the end and referee bottled the red card.
We deserved the win if only because we tried to win it whereas Hearts came for the draw. I wonder if they will get some support from SPL in pursuit of their wages.
examples today of what we face, the`save the hun` campaign is still in full swing. The MIB`s are now feeling as if they have been too quiet, they are a shower of muppets with a grudge to bear. Can’t believe that prior to Fraser’s saves out opponents had scored 19 from the last 19 pens – courtesy Richard Gordon. An amazing stat.

I hope those Hertz fuds go out of business, followed by their big cousins at Aye Broke.
On Saturday 10th December 2011, Forster made a great save from an incorrectly awarded penalty in the 88th minute of a game against Hearts. By doing so he ensured that no amount of cheating from football officialdom would allow Alistair “Fat Sally” McCoist to hide.
Lenny just on Beeb there, says it couldn’t possibly have been a penalty, and that Scott Brown was involved in “verbals, nothing more” before and after the peno was taken.
FWIW, John Hughes says he saw a handball so thinks it was a penalty.
Highlights should be interesting, but watch for portrayal of Celtic Captain and Celtic Manager as snarling troublemakers etc.
john hughes said on shortbread that it was good common sense by the mib for not producing a second yellow for the hearts thug.
He said the game is almost over and the hearts player is young and finding his way in the game!!!
Shortbread have obviuosly lined up this idiot to replace the other idiot mcleod.
3 great points in spite of the cheating mib and thuggish opponents.
Well done Celts!

Didn’t see the penalty, but went to Sky Sports News for the last few minutes.
Sky Sports go to #DavidTanner at #Celtic to report on the Hearts penalty. So sick he couldn’t speak so we had to be told it was missed.
The face on Tanner was a sight to behold. Before the studio confirmed that it was missed I knew by his face that either we had scored or they had missed.
Question: why is a Hertz fan allowed to referee their games? I think we should have Wullie Collum and Steve Conroy ref all our games. Aw naw , haud oan a minute ,cancel that plan.

Phew, a hard fought 3 points today. Thems might be
diggin out the result but that performance today tells
me one thing, this team has the belief to go the
distance. Big Frazer going over to Vic67 at the end of
the game shows this young team are gelling and fighting
for each other, smells like team spirt to me. I was
critical of big Forster last season but he is getting better
every game, today he had very little to do but when
called upon never let us down. To see these young ghuys
faces at the end was great, they really do get it, how
much each and every victory means to us.
God bless Lenny’s young lions.

John Hughes, former Celtic player and Scotsman thinks Celtics right winger was called Forrester!!
I thought the Hearts player pushed Victor into the ball,,,,,not much the big man could do about it,,,the ref was extremely quick to give it though surprise surprise!!!
Decent result. Some good performances, still some areas causing concern. Forrest a little inconsistent. Samaras decent first half, dropped out in the second half. We lacked a little guile. Stokes and Hooper never really linked today. Biggest disappointment for me was Mulgrew. His delivery was poor, and we lose a lot when we dont have Izzy or Matthews at left back. You cant fault Charlie for effort, but really he is best at Centre Back.
Hopefully Commons will be back soon, we miss him. I suspect Rangers will play exactly the same way as Hearts did , and we need to be smarter about breaking down a very defensive formation.

Big up to to big Sammy – at the penalty. Too many times this season, the players have just given up lost battles, not made the other team WIN their points, hold their nerve. And big Sammy told the guy – put it on the spot, it’s not an automatic goal. Et voilaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa !
Only one or two of these close games more, and we’ll be in front of them…..hold the nerve, hold the nerve…

I was praising VW immediately before his goal.
Maybe I should be less critical with the rest of the team.
VW was MOTM today, and I thought the defense was ok.
Midfield was a wee bit stuttering.
Sammi and Forrest did not get into the game enough.
Hooper and Stokes were far too isolated against a Hearts team defending in depth.
FF didn’t have much to do and of course we missed his two point save at the penalty.
Good to see Mulgrew and Brown getting game time, we’ll need their experience, hunger and commitment this month.
Ally must have thought he was getting a wee breathing space today.
Alas he will feel our breath on his neck for a while.
FF maybe just ensured a league?
