hamiltontim. Fella you are no doubt right about Lennies decisions however, like the rest of us he is not infalible and I happen to think unless Kayal had suffered a knock bringing on Broonie was a wrong call. Now young James had fallen out of the game and to me Broonie for James would have been a better call.Football is a game of opinions my friend you have yours I have mine.H.H.

PFayr I dont disagree with you it wasnt one of Kayals better games but in a bruising game which that was imo he has more to offer than young James who had fallen out of the game.H.H.

  11. The Simple Facts are This..

    Hearts went oot the day..

Tae Constantly.. use the FOUL .. as a Prophylactic.. agin

    Celtic’s Superiority.

And the Sad Part is this..

That The Hearts Players were acting Under the Specific

    Instructions of Their Manager..

It is Instructions like this.. that mak the S.P.L. Such a Hell Hole.

as far as Guid Fitba Kin Be Allowed tae Tak Place..

    And..

That is Why the S.P.L. wull never amount tae being anything bettah than… a Graveyard fur Guid And Skilled Fitballers.

    Celtic, did.. Amazingly well..

    In MA Opinion..

We tried tae Shrug aff the Constant Fouling.. each time we mounted an dangerous Attack oan the Heart’s Goal..

But, that Kind of Constant Dirty Tactics.. is Not so Easily .. well… Shrugged Aff.

    But, Like awe good Tales..

This wan has a Happy Endin..

    and

The Evil Simon LeGree.. was wance mair. thwarted..

    And the Guid Guys.

    Won ,in the End…

    Perfect Ending.

You are right of course it is all about opinions.

I’m undecided about Kayal. I think he provides us with some much needed fight in the middle of the park and he breaks up opposition attacks to great effect. However, I think his passing is shockingly bad and this isn’t helped by his decision making which needs to improve also.

In the first half today we saw the best and worst of him.

Now I’m not a big Broonie fan either, for me the same praise and faults I’ve attributed to Kayal could be levelled at our captain.

My point was that at half time I said it was one of those days when most were having an off day and Lenny would need to change things. You’re right wee Forest was particularly poor in the first half but the manager persevered with him and Sammi in the wide positions.

For me that was the correct decision mate. We won 1-0.

  13. Just home from the game, traffic leaving was really heavy, partly due to the cliff hanger ending.

First of all can’t comment on the penalty, but if the Man of the Match says on car radio he didn’t touch it, that’ll do for me. Celtic didn’t play well at all as an attacking unit, but the back four held good and Hearts for whatever reason seem to play above themselves against Celtic in comparison to other sides in the SPL.

The game was very similar to our 0-0 Hibs at home, as Hearts in general had ten men behind the ball, and it took Wanyama’s strike to break the deadlock. The introduction of Scott Brown brought little except a squabble with Ian Black and others, but nothing in football terms, and where Celtic are going with disrupting the defence to accomadate Scott in midfield, I’m not sure though in fairness Beram Kayal had an off day.

Hooper and Stokes weren’t overly supplied by Forrest or (Samaras who didn’t have a good second half) and Forrest only crossed once when Stokes hit the bar. Admittedly Hearts had cut of the supply and consequently Hooper and Stokes played as isolated individuals, and not as a pair.

Cha Du Ri, had a good game ( if only he could pass the ball ) and Charlie Mulgrew who can pass the ball, just didn’t. The insistence on Charlie taking corners and free kicks no matter where on the the pitch, really should be wrapped in, as he’s not that good, and the delivery should be varied.

Another three points is all that matters, and Fraser Forster’s dramatic save made for the perfect ending for The Paradise Brigade who exited into the frozen Glasgow air, with massive sighs, mixed in with big cheesy grins.

    Hail Hail

Hamiltontim Like you im delighted with the 3 points to be honest when they were awarded the penalty I thought thats it 2 points lost but I should have had more faith in big Fraser.Broonie is not for me in the centre of midfield however,on the right side of midfield he can be quite effective. The main thing though is the 3 points are in the bag. H.H.

  16. Imagine me agreeing with Kojo–but he got it spot on. There’s no way Scottish football will improve if good footballers are allowed to be kicked off the park. The Ref and linesmen were a disgrace today, and Callum almost made up for all the yellow and red cards against Rangers. I see people on here are thinking Kayal is going to Liverpool. I hope it’s Kayal and not Wanyama.

Alternatively, I think you may know BT so could get my number from him.

  18. Seemed like a bit of complacency today from the fans and players. We would have slaughtered them if we got the early goal today.

Still a win, 3 points and all in a game where the officials did their best to stop the flow of the game whenever we got going.

    ==============================

Kojo, the World does not begin in Alaska and end in Southern Califiornia. Nor does it begin in John O’Groats and end in Dumfries. (Note: “Down South” for me is Dumfries, not somewhere in England).

Dushanbe is the capital of Tajikistan, where “I stay” or as others “outwith” Scotland might say …” I live”.

Apparently it’s the jewel (sic) in Central Asia’s crown. Nevertheless, its good to able to walk around Dushanbe wearing the hoops without being harrassed. And, of course, as Saltires quite rightly says……….a pint is only 0.75 cents, with nae hangover the following morning.

So, Kojo, my son, we are on opposite sides of the world it would appear.

I’ts now 11.53 PM with me, but the adenaline currently pumping through my system, after the last 10 minutes of today’s game, dictates that ma scratcher will have tae wait.

If you hail from there are you a Tajer- surely not :-)

  23. So remind me again, was Victor a Peter Lawell signing? or is he now solely responsible for Bangura… until he starts banging in the goals?

The cheating last week and today shows exactly what we will suffer the rest of the season, especially on the 28th.

How did the LB stay on the park???

Never seen the pen incident clearly at the game but having now watched it, shocking decision to add to the rest the cheat made all day.

Good to see the mini inbreds can still give 100% in their financial troubled times.Thats the most effort they have put into a match since……..they last played us!!

Sometimes i hate the minis more than the huns..but only sometimes.
