We have a range of ST on offer — £717 would suggest top dollar Main Stand or similar.
There are cheaper tickets available so your pal will soon have a choice.
Will he be asking for a wage increase this year or next?
If he doesn’t want the ticket then someone else will take it.
AP has to take some of the blame for this state of affairs.
Regarding the economic situation — don’t believe the hype.
We currently have a bulge of disposable income — after the CoViD19 inspired slowdown — moving through the bank accounts of the general population.
The state has run up huge debts so the private sector has a huge surplus and not all of that surplus has made it into the hands of the billionaire class.
That is why we are having the inflation bounce / bubble that is currently working its way through the shops at the moment — too much demand and not enough supply.
ST are affordable to many in society.
There are lots of people desperate to go.
Transition / change is the way of the world.
I would rather give JR money for a season ticket than money to watch Marvel films.
This week it was Sci fi nonsense at £11 a go and then a posh pizza and a £3.10 Coke.
He and his pals were trying for tickets for yesterday but failed.
The club’s loss was Hollywood’s gain.
As for stadium expansion — we need more seats and we need better seats.
The demand is there and we need to grow to make our way forward.
Our range of products on offer is very limited.
The gap between the ordinary seats and the free pie seats is too large.
We are under supplied with hospitality and lounge seats.
The success of the KDS Suite shows that there is the demand.
The spend in the Merchant City and Gallowgate on matchdays show that for many a ticket is only part of their day out. Plus with ST’s paid in advance the matchday spend can be quite small and so there is opportunity to offer more and generate more sales.
Football is a cheap day out.
Last night with RR and DB at the Hydro was a lot more expensive than a game at P/head.
Shocked at the price of the tickets but my other half was happy to pay.
Plus the drinks prices at the bar …
People will pay if the product is good.
Or it allows them to re-visit their younger days.
RR seemed to be enjoying himself — two encores and then dragged off the stage.
Richest in society vs football — the world is more complex than that.
What do you consider rich and what is their income?
Mainstream after tax income — family of four is £3-4K per month?
£3K = 2 basic jobs / 1 and a half reasonable jobs.
£4K = 2 reasonable / average jobs.
£2.5K = At the bottom end.
What room do these figures provide for football related expenditure?
If their is going to be a longer term squeeze — then what changes?
Yes wee Riley was in his element, took a Rangers supporters (friends of the family) daughter to the game yesterday, same age as Riley 10, and she loved it. Now a celtic supporter, my son in law bought her a strip and took both kids around to wait on the players coming out.
