Reading back, I saw Hamilton Tim getting a mention.

Anyone know how he is doing?

    Re season ticket prices.

    I pay £ 684 for area 441. Not a prime seat I may add.

I am certainly not complaining, however my point stands that we need to be careful not to outprice ” normal” adult tickets.

  6. Our 4th goal yesterday was all down to Janes Forrest, from his first involvement in the move he never stopped running and his movement put him into the position to pick Giamakous out … brilliant play

Am no statto but he must be collecting some amount of medals … and still got his best years ahead of him

    Good times 🍀

    Really? 444 is £200 cheaper.

Yes really, I have just rechecked my receipt.

    That is some difference.

We have a range of ST on offer — £717 would suggest top dollar Main Stand or similar.

There are cheaper tickets available so your pal will soon have a choice.

Will he be asking for a wage increase this year or next?

If he doesn’t want the ticket then someone else will take it.

AP has to take some of the blame for this state of affairs.

Regarding the economic situation — don’t believe the hype.

We currently have a bulge of disposable income — after the CoViD19 inspired slowdown — moving through the bank accounts of the general population.

The state has run up huge debts so the private sector has a huge surplus and not all of that surplus has made it into the hands of the billionaire class.

That is why we are having the inflation bounce / bubble that is currently working its way through the shops at the moment — too much demand and not enough supply.

ST are affordable to many in society.

There are lots of people desperate to go.

Transition / change is the way of the world.

I would rather give JR money for a season ticket than money to watch Marvel films.

This week it was Sci fi nonsense at £11 a go and then a posh pizza and a £3.10 Coke.

He and his pals were trying for tickets for yesterday but failed.

The club’s loss was Hollywood’s gain.

As for stadium expansion — we need more seats and we need better seats.

The demand is there and we need to grow to make our way forward.

Our range of products on offer is very limited.

The gap between the ordinary seats and the free pie seats is too large.

We are under supplied with hospitality and lounge seats.

The success of the KDS Suite shows that there is the demand.

The spend in the Merchant City and Gallowgate on matchdays show that for many a ticket is only part of their day out. Plus with ST’s paid in advance the matchday spend can be quite small and so there is opportunity to offer more and generate more sales.

Football is a cheap day out.

Last night with RR and DB at the Hydro was a lot more expensive than a game at P/head.

Shocked at the price of the tickets but my other half was happy to pay.

Plus the drinks prices at the bar …

People will pay if the product is good.

Or it allows them to re-visit their younger days.

RR seemed to be enjoying himself — two encores and then dragged off the stage.

Richest in society vs football — the world is more complex than that.

What do you consider rich and what is their income?

Mainstream after tax income — family of four is £3-4K per month?

    £3K = 2 basic jobs / 1 and a half reasonable jobs.

    £4K = 2 reasonable / average jobs.

£2.5K = At the bottom end.

What room do these figures provide for football related expenditure?

If their is going to be a longer term squeeze — then what changes?

Tesco vs Lidl and keep your ST?

Foreign holiday vs Caravan and keep your ticket?

I phone vs Tesco Mobile no name phone and a ST?

Football is a big draw for a lot of people.

  10. GFTB – Cannot disagree with that.

Yes wee Riley was in his element, took a Rangers supporters (friends of the family) daughter to the game yesterday, same age as Riley 10, and she loved it. Now a celtic supporter, my son in law bought her a strip and took both kids around to wait on the players coming out.

    Another converted.

Hope you and the family are all well.

I honestly feel a bit sorry for my daughter these last few days, obviously her mum is the most important person in her life (am just the support act) her two big sisters are brilliant she really close to her … all Sevconians :-)

But … am still the winner when she sends me the Celtic starting 11 as soon as it’s on Cektuc Twitter and she refers to the Huns as “them” and Celtic as “us” … that’s my lottery win right there

We all live in our own wee Celtic bubble

I love Neil Lennon from the day Martin signed him, in my opinion he is my type of Celt

I don’t care a jot what others think or would like to have a wee dig … am just happy he was both player & manager

Ange is such a magic fit … anyway not one person will ever change my mind on Neil

You can believe that a european trophy is more valuable than a number of domestic ones…or you can believe that your club is more successful than Real Madrid because it’s won more domestic trophies. You can’t believe both.

Thank you for your reply.Neil has earned his right to be remembered as a legend in the eyes of rthe majority of Celtic fans. There are some fans who,if a player scored five, would counter with ah he should had six, just no pleasing them.I grew up with Jimmy McGrory as manager and that was not easy on the eye I can tell you,yes I know that Bob Kelly was involved in the team selection on occasions, but if the same ‘fans’ that gave the abuse to Neil Lennon, were around then,Mr.McGrory, hero to many, would not have had an easy time given the lack of success that Celtic had, then along came the Big Mhan.

  19. Bhoyjoe – I will never disagree that NFL is a legend.

Some of his decisions were strange in his final season but that will not change my mind on him.

Likewise I will never tire of hearing of Mr McGrory a Celtic and Garngad legend.

Only the ‘buzz bomb’ has more gongs, I believe. Hope Jamsie’s around next season – he’s only a couple away from 100 goals. Maligned by some, certainly not me – a true Celt, from Ayrshire too, just like Lemon.

Jamesy F will hopefully be in Ange’s plans, I think he will he is a threat and puts our opponents on the back foot

Am all for improving in every position but sometimes guys like Callum & James are probably a lot better than most fans realise

Yes he is, and I too am “glad”.

NFL’s Celtic record as player & manager is fantastic ( he brought it all on himself😃)

Just to think, if he had delivered 10iar, would he be here, rather than in Cyprus? Would Ange be here & would “our (new) journey just be beginning?”

In life often it is the case that you have to take a step back to go forward again…..last season looks like a pretty small and fortuitous step-back!!!
