Much criticised, not by me, maligned by others, for what, game of hit the bar in the morning, then hitting the bar for real in the afternoon, it doesn’t get any better than that in my book.
Billy McNeill and Scott Brown have more medals for Celtic than Jamesie Forrest
With a decent preseason and an injury free run of games you could see him regaining his poty form at least in bursts

In the modern game where speed is so important – imagine what value Bobby Lennox would fetch – 167 goals….and TEN f****** Scottish caps,(Jinky, Big Billy, John Clark, Bobby Murdoch, Big Tam & Bertie in the same boat). No wonder there are some of us who wouldn’t cross the road to watch the national team.

We all know last season was a total fluck up, but if you want to judge Neil on one session that is absolutely your choice …
I prefer to judge him from December 2000 … and am so glad he delivered the 9 … remember when Brendan bolted we were going to Easter road in the cup (a ground Brendan never tasted victory) but batter in with the wee digs … am pretty sure pre March 2020 Neil had the team flying … but again stick with your wee Dubai dig … copy and paste your post onto Hun media and you’ll probably get a few likes :-)
Defo … bedtime for me before P67 & Mod1888 start looking at my log in password

God bless Neil Lennon … if you know (all) your history 🍀

Crossing the road, crossing the ball, falling out of bed.
Tie up your shoelaces, you’ll take an eye out with that ball!
I don’t think you will get either of your wishes ( or mine ). Eintracht Frankfurt have won 8 out of their last 24 matches! They have fallen to 12th in the Bundesliga, while the 2 German teams the Huns took 9 goals off are 2nd and 4th and will be in the Champions League next season, possibly at lower seeds than Sevco.
Hertz have little chance. When they lost Beringame, they lost their best player. We could have scored 8 yesterday, with Hertz offering very little.
I wanted Celtic concentrating on Europe and really doing something there rather than getting 10 in a row, 10 in a row would have been a by product of Celtic doing well in Europe.
It is Crazy the Hun will go into future games thinking they are better than us.
Neil Lennon’s Omonia Nicosia have a great chance to win the Cypriot Cup on May 25. They play Ethnikos Achna who are second bottom of the bottom six in the league with 22 points. Omonia are top of the bottom six, 24 points ahead of them, but have to be wary as Ethnikos thumped a top 6 team 5-2 on aggregate in the semis.

No it isn’t – just some posters exercising a bit of perspective. His record overall speaks volumes – yes he ultimately failed in his final season – the vast majority of managers fail in their final season – that’s why they become ex-managers.
For the record, I think he was the right choice on the 26th February 2019 to lead us on a temporary basis to the end of the season after Brendan Rodgers left. We could/should have changed direction for the following season, as we have now with Ange….. hindsight is a wonderful thing. HH

His continual refusal to accept one single piece of blame for the disgrace of last season says it all for me.

Neil Lennon was and is a Celtic Legend, last year was a huge disappointment and it was sad to see it all end in tears,
There were a lot of mistakes made last year both by the Board & Lenny, in hindsight Dubai was a disaster, Not so much coz a few players had a few beers but going there in the middle of a Covid Pandemic was reckless,
Keeping good players who wanted to leave backfired and did we ever have such a disastrous recruitment campaign, Barkas. Ajeti, Duffy. Laxalt for starters,
Not everything was down to Lenny but it was a perfect storm anything that could go wrong did and on the other side the Huns went through the League unbeaten.
The real horror was that it was a Season where we were going for 10in a row and that magnified every error & increased the disappointment & led to ill judged Protests at Celtic Park where some of the stuff aimed at Lenny were a pure disgrace,
I’m sure there is still a bit of hurt there on both sides but in time that will ease & Lenny will be remembered for all the Good Times.
This Season, the arrival of Ange winning League Cup & getting our Title back has been huge, I hope that Lenny can land the Cup in Cyprus, we all move on and as my Mam used to say too Err is Human but to Forgive is Divine,

Neil Lennon should never been appointed after the defeat v Ross County at Hampden may years ago ,same last season same team and others who we should have beat ,then his downfall throwing a few Celtic players under a bus ,it was never his fault ,as for the present Celtic Board there is a few still there that hopefully will follow Lennon very soon,That billionaire should have broke the bank to ensure we got the 10.
“Lemon– The blistering and devasting pace of the diminutive Bobby Lennox saw him earn this title.Bobby was also sometimes called “Lemon”, this name came about, apparently, because the fans thought he made defenders look like suckers. However, that’s not true. The actual origins of this nickname are all due to a silly error. In one old match report, the respective journalist/copy-writer somehow mis-wrote Lennox’s name wrong as “Lemon” (God knows how they did that one!). Anyhow, Willie Wallace (a fellow Lisbon Lion) noticed this and it was used to rib Lennox in the dressing room. The nickname has stuck with him ever since and even manager Jock Stein used it.”

Back Ange this Summer, the newco have embarressed the Celtic Hierarchy, IMO – we need fresh and more innovative thinking Board Members.
