Eyes Wide Open, I agree. There is still not any evidence of thoughts being turned into actions. Again players today would not put their bodies on the line, communicate with each other make statement tackles etc. Neil Lennon can’t come out today and say the team were gutless and critcise individuals yet again. Its his team we have heard it all before.
I was high after an important day at work on Wednesday then our second half performance. I even said Neil Lennons tema could win the league. Results like this are always highly likely with this team.
If we change managers now can we rely on the pickers of Strachan, Mowbray and Lennon to give us some form of messiah.
Rangers are stuck down a well but still managing to stay on top. It is surreal.
Our club is completely leaderless and adrift. On AND off the park. Not only the manager and players responsible for this, the board have led us here with penny pinching and complacency. They are also completely dismissive of the supporters feelings. We need a clear out at all levels. Failures everywhere.

Lenny is all we have, for all those posters who will now come on and say he must go, by all means do it, but please post who you want to replace him.

Even if the hun do get a 25 point deduction we’ll still lose the league at the rate. So poor but sadly not suprised at all.

Fifty years following the Celts and this is as low as I have ever felt. I love Lennon as a man and as a Celt but I am now convinced that he is not up to the job. This was a gutless, shameful inept performance those guys out on the field today don’t deserve to be wearing that jersey. Lennon should go now and let the rebuilding begin.
Our average age today was 22.5. The main problem has been our signing strategy and for that Lennon, Lawell have to share the blame. I have said on her for a long time that we don’t have the experience or leadership to deal with the days when things aren’t going well. Very disappointing but changing the manager won’t help in the short term. We have to buy 2 or 3 quality experienced players who have leadership qualities to play in key positions.
Lennon should be told to resign with head held high.
The experiment has failed.
We cannot afford him the luxury of learning on the job.
If he is learning then it;s at a very slow pace with same tactical blunders constantly repeated.
I’m afraid we are once again reaping what we sow – we have no ambition, no drive, now desire. That is the Board’s fault – they have no ambition, no drive and no desire.
Celtic are not a football club – they are there to make money for DD – the football clearly is incidental.
They do not deserve our support and the performance of our CEO is nothing short of disgraceful.
It is clear that our cost cutting has now seen us fall into or below the standards of our SPL clubs and now clearly well below the standard of Rangers.
Those of you who continue to give money to the club in any way are harming us – the ONLY way forward is to rid ourselves of the only billionaire owner in football who wants to milk us dry.
As for NL – he has to go – its isnt his fault, he is a rookie manager and a club of our stature shouldnt employ a rookie manager. But we did that to save on costs. NL has also been nobbled by last year’s events. The club almost took on the establishment last year – but in the end havent followed it through. Because once again Celtic dont really care about their supporters as long as they are getting their money. Its clear NL has been told not to react the way he did last year.
NL please resign now – its in your best interests. This in turn will mean that PL must resign and we get rid of him.
Getting rid of DD will be much harder. But if we create a financial problem for him he will lose his appetite. We need him out – he is the root cause of all our problems.

I think the best we can hope for is a foreign coach, a wee bit of an unknown quantity like Wim Jansen simply hoping to unearth a gem.
The established boys wont come near us thats for sure.
However, this current management can NOT get ANYTHING out of the current squad.
The options are – change the squad or change the management.
Which one of the two is more realistic?
Has to be the management.
If for nothing else than to introduce the fear factor into the arrogant and complacent bunch of footballers we have on display every week.

Watching Celtic challenging for the Championship helps me get through the dark days of winter and to think it’s still only October and already it’s no contest. The great hopes we had for what looked like an exciting young team this season are now in tatters. It’s going to be a long hard winter of discontent. We need a miracle now.

Hooper was lazy. Stokes was frustrating. Ki n Kayal had imposters in their place.
I said during the game I was pining for Broony.
We need him back and on his best form, driving us forward and narking at his team mates to put in a shift.

Another manager must be brought in to try and salvage the situation,we have all supported Neil through a very difficult time but he must be judged in football terms,there is no tempo to the team we are struggling against teams that consist of free transfers,loan signings and players with more fight in them than ours.The Celtic job should always be considered too big for a novice to learn in.It is time to turn to someone with experience,crowds are going to fall away and Celtic Park will a pretty depressing place for the rest of the season.
We either decide that we have reached the bottom of the pit NOW and make some attempt to get out of it, or we keep digging.
