  1. Dallas Dallas where the heck is Dallas on

Franny, Gary Parker and Neil were giving someone on our bench some grief after our fourth goal then carried it on after the final whistle . It was possibly aimed at Chris Davies .

  2. Dallas.

    Thanks for kind words.

You have persuaded me to post, that and the fact that one of my old favourites, Weefrathetim has returned.

Just by chance,I was lurking. I’ve had a very difficult week, ( I guess we all don’t have our troubles to seek) and haven’t read much on here, I will hopefully mail you on Monday.

Tony leaving, my info, which is correct :-), is nothing to do with results.

It concerns events at Kilbirnie game.

I’m surprised at Murdie his assistant, taking the managers role.

Tony has done brilliant at Pollok . The youth set up and how it has progressed is a real legacy.

Cumbernauld drew 1.1 at Rossvale, a fair result, two teams going for promotion.

I hope all is well with you and your loved ones.

    Weefrathetim.

    How’s that tup of yours?

    Hail Hail

Loved that game today 4-2 is a magic score. Even better was time spent wi Sipsini after our victory.

Stick what you can afford on Hamilton tomorrow. I stuck a score on them. Picked them in LMS too.

  6. Anyone who reads the Daily Record should be barred from here. That includes the excuses of “ just picked it up in the barbers” “ happened to glance at the back pages of the guy at works copy” “ I have to buy one for the mother in law”

None of the above are plausible. I would also include anyone who calls into Radio Clyde.

    Any supporters for my cull?

  7. Mick and Gerry.

    Thanks for your kind words.

I’m glad I’m back on, I had to take a break some of the petty name calling was not good for my health ( and I wasn’t even involved ) just reading it.

    Hail Hail

  8. Dallas Dallas where the heck is Dallas on

Jimmynotpaul, I’m sorry to hear you not keeping well.

I was told Tony was getting a hard time from some Kilbirnie fans the other week then gave back as good as he got. Some Pollok fans were wanting him gone since last season.

It might be a decision they regret.

Our result today would have cheered you up. It was a convincing win and our confidence is coming back .

  9. Garry.

    Thanks.

I hope you are continuing to go from strength to strength in life’s journey.

As you say 4.2 is a great score and a score that when I hear it, automatically makes me think of 1979.

    Hail Hail

You might not have picked the bestest night to return!

Since it’s you,I’ll rein it in,I’ve made my point about him. Just glad you’re back on form a bit, that’s good enough to make me smile, and I’ll mibbe have to raise a 105 to your good health now that you’ve talked me into it.

    Slainte!!!

Anyone who watched the Maestro Paul McStay and slag him on a Celtic blog is a wrong wan in my mind.

To the tune of Our God Reigns, add Paul McStay. Only Danny was better in that Celtic team.

Also 1983. Just so slightly underwhelming because of a Ralph Milne bolt from nowhere while we were filtering out and moaning about only getting a draw!

The draw would have won us the league.

It’s still there, mate. 306 this morning. I got deleted for my response to it,he gets lauded and left in place. I pointed out that hun trolls like Super Sammy’s Knee didn’t stoop so low as that post, they got short shrift.

    Kev,well,he gets beatified.

  15. Dallas. 8.35.

He was, he did and then some.

He then took a week off and met the committee when he returned.

I know you work with a Pollok fan or two but for me they have to be a tad more realistic.

Tony got them promoted and has won a few trophies with them.

Youth set up starting to pay dividends, just a bit more patience required, anyway it’s all a moot point now because of circumstances.

As for the mighty Hoops, just brilliant.

    Hail Hail

  16. Great game today at Paradise! It looked like a belter on paper and so it proved. I thought we started with intent, crisp passing and pressing them into mistakes is the hallmark of when we are on our game. The goals duly came and they were just sublime. How it remained only two at the break I do not know. It was a concern and you always thought if Hibs nicked one it would be game on and it looked that way for a while.

After the restart we lacked a good balance, Sinclair on the right didn’t work and unfortunately he was very poor. For the Hibs second goal it looked like DB had a rush of blood and they drove right through the hole he vacated, would need to see it again. Edouard deserved his two goals and it should have been more. Forrest, Rogic, McGregor and Ntcham all very good with Benkovic getting better with every passing game.

Disappointed with NL comments after the game blaming the ref, Hibs were simply beaten by the better team. As for his counterpart, Brendan Rodgers take a bow, things are looking a lot better than they were a few short weeks ago. We appear to have out mojo back and looking ahead i am very confident ahead of next Sunday at Murrayfield.

Man of the Match – Forrest

  17. Mick.

Maybe it’s me, but I have no issues with people calling each other out, in fact I quite enjoy reading a Barney.

It’s the petty generic, sleekit name calling that kills me.

We are all Celtic fans ( well I think) but if you have a different opinion, well for me it’s a blog, we should have, but for others, they use it as an excuse to name call.

For me, if two people agree all the time then one is either a sycophant or suppressed.

    Hail Hail

Peter Lawell is a terric CEO like it or not :-)

  19. David 17.

Yes, Lennon ‘s comments were disappointing, particularly his calling out of Benkovic, especially after Mallen’s tackle on Ntchaam that went unpunished.

I miss AoW. Not intending to mail invites for 10 Nov this time, but I’ll make an exception for him. Now that you mention it,there’s a few who might need mailed, rather than just gleaning it from references on here.

Think I can only get ten on my BCC box, here comes the Hootenanny Russian Roulette!!!

  22. Seeing JimmynotPaul & Weefrathe posting has tempted me to throw in my tuppence worth on today.

I absolutely loved the game,it was football played the Glasgow Celtic way and in fairness Hibs played their part in what was a cracker of a game.

Like others have already said Benkovic is pure quality, I would love to have him permanently but can’t see it happening. Big Eddie, Wee Callum & Wee James were the the others who stood out for me but the Wizard of Oz did the business at the crucial time & set us up for the victory so he just edges MOM in my book.

The Paul McStay jibe was low, I know not one Celtic fan who has a bad word to say about the Maestro some even say he should have left ??? Am delighted he stayed especially when we weren’t winning … there is your legend

Watched the game today in Jack Dempseys and was welcomed by one of the Manhattan csc, a fella called Dessy who left Castlemilk 25 years ago and now resides in Manhattan (Chelsea of all places).

Great game, great victory, great company and a sing song to boot.

Going to grab a bite to eat and our last walk in this wonderful eclectic town. Then airport at 6pm

Great game today. Entertainment from both sides, but the Bhoys were up for it in a very tough fixture. Well deserved victory. Lenny, you need to get a grip!

  29. Corkcelt.

Yes, it was a great game, credit to Hibs for making it an open game.

T.R. for first goal sublime and wee Jamesy for the 3rd goal was fabulous, tremendous pace and great vision.

Dallas let me know that you had posted a kind comment to me when I left the blog, I was and still am very grateful, I just needed time.

    Thank you.

  30. DENA29,

Oh dear, I hope it’s not too severe. Always loved our wee chat at the coarner the past few seasons but old age seems to have caught up with me big time. ?? Get youself well again and I hope to be back sooner rather than later to cheer on the Bhoys. My love to the family “G” and you take care.
