Broony (still far from his best) Erik (worrying lack of pace) Lustig (don’t think we will ever see the ML of a couple of seasons ago) Kazim (strong but seriously lacks sharpness)

Is there a fit alternative to Lustig at right back?

Timreaper,
I agree re MacGregor. Is it just coincidence that the team slumped when he was not playing? Who knows. I have underestimated him after his early entry into the team on the wing. Initially he scored a few cutting in from the wing, but he was soon sussed by defenders as a one trick pony. He Needs to play in the middle, as do quite a few of our collection of mids!
MacGregor may be the glue that is needed to make the midfield work. Kind of like the impact that the late John White had on an excellent Scottish team. Remember?
I thot that Charlie brought a calming influence to the team today,

Enjoyed the first half team performance today and liked the reaction from the team. Second half was all about patrick roberts who ghosted past opponents and was a joy with the ball. I thought Stuart Armstrong looked good when he came on and not surprising given he played central role.
Tom B gave GMS man of the match but i thought he gave the ball away a lot an made poor decisions.
My man of the match was McGregor – he looked composed , passed the ball nicely, linked up well, fought for the ball and scored the goal of the game. easily MotM.
Brown needs games , lustig has lost a yard, and Erik played cautious due to ridiculous booking from column
Collum is just an awful awful referee – not where he should be in life!
Celtic coaches looked relaxed, didn’t smile much and didn’t look like they communicate during the match – not sure thats healthy.
Overall – happy with a victory. The next one is the real test!

Agree regarding Charlie probably the best we have in that position for playing out from the back.

Apart from the score and being glad to see McGregor back – not much to take from today.
Kazim-Richards can, I believe, do something for us – let’s not write him off too soon.
Seen quite a few leaving at half-time….home to see mummy?

We all know why ronny plays Leigh up front on his own ….. we don’t have another striker worthy of rhe name . In fact the 3 guys out on loan are better than Richards or cole
And I cannot believe I am saying this but a guy I detest when I watch him play us would actually be an asset sitting in front of our fragile defence …. ross draper. Hang on till I read that back myself.
Yes big draper would put a right bit of steel in the middle of the park – although I doubt of he would get the same leniency of wearing green and white hoops

Well done Celtic. Prior to KO I’d have bitten your hand off for that score line and first half performance.

Was pleasantly surprised by the calmness in our defence today that Charlie brought. After Wednesday I would have had him no where near our team. Young KT, GMS and C McG were very good. I may be in a minority but I like what CKR brings to the team.
Second half was only good because of Patrick Roberts.

Perhaps it is old age but I think Kazim-Richards is a good signing for us as he most definitely has strength and physique which was/is a handy thing to have when playing upfront for Celtic. I didn’t think he did much wrong and was unlucky a few times. He is certainly not greedy a lays off frequently and unselfishlly. But then what do I know! It is all about opinions.
*fully concur here; we really need a forward with a bit of a dg in him. The Bear had as did Dixie. Wee ten thirty tae which was the reason Sir Bob got rid of him. Thankfully he was back in time for the Jock show.
Very good display today, that’s the 5th clean sheet out of 6 outings for our much maligned defence.
On Friday night I was at the Stations and the theme was “Mary’s Way of the Cross”. At the end of each Station the wee Father echoing Mary’s words said ‘and I just stood there silent”.
I know it’s a solemn occasion but the thought going through my mind was that sounds like our board.
Managers the length and breadth of the country are up in rams, and trooser legs, about whidjae ma collom, and rightly so, he’s been put in place as the token T to deflect the obvious prejudice of madhun, former asbestos dome contractor thompson etc.
We as a club should now like other clubs be demanding he no loger offiates any more of our games before we lose a player (s) to serous injury.

Give us Sevco. At least that way I can go to the final.
The Huns need to win the Scottish Cup to even be considered for Europe. They closed that loophole that a plucky lower league club might get lucky, say get favourable draws, oh wait, bet their wishing they could change it back for one season only.
