Just watched the highlights and whilst totally agreeing that five minutes is very different from being there, I did not see much evidence of the ` foot off the gas ` claim.In the second period, we hit the bar and the post as well as missing some decent chances ( the latter also applies to Morton).

Just to say- well done Celtic on a bright performance today.
P.S. Pity about the semi-final draw. Was hoping to be spared all the guff and the hype. I will not be in attendance at this fixture but I am damn sure there will be plenty of Maggie McGill’s 45% returning from their own personal boycott to scratch the O** F*** itch.
No criticism offered to those of us who have continued their support and will still be there for the Sevco match but I do feel contempt for all those Celtic-supporting critics who will flock back to support for this one match only

MacGregor may be the glue that is needed to make the midfield work. Kind of like the impact that the late John White had on an excellent Scottish team. Remember?
*the Ghost of White Hart Lane long before Martin Peters, excellent player tae, had the title.
He was often booed when playing for his country even though he was a double winner for Spurs (1st team in the 20th century), as the natives preferred ralphie brand FFS.

Defeat by sevco would really seal his fate and see the axe fall at the end of the season.
In many ways the current celtice job is a poisoned chalice. And I feel sorry for a good man who just didn’t know what he signed up for – Lee Harvey Deila .
We have the players to beat sevco and about 6 weeks to get their act together.

Just seen Ronny’s post match interview:
– every time he talks up his record without raising expectations, almost as if he is writing a contemporaneous CV
– latest he says (just in case you don’t know)”that’s four semi-finals in two years” failing to mention of course that we lost two of them.
Ronny really does ‘handle’ the media – sometimes talking quickly with no breaks and using his perceived language inadequacies, to ‘stonewall’.
We never get a insight into what he really thinks, or, the reason we are struggling.
Ronny is a teacher – Ronny is clever – Ronny looks after himself.
Ronny has another side – my opinion from observing him from the Ronny Roar days.

i said it during the game and i will say it again CM flattered to deceive today because the opposition were poor, our back 4 got of lightly , he shouldn’t be anywhere near the team, i might add he is not the only one.
Good result and performance, At first not happy about the team but vast improvement on Wednesday.It has to be said however that Morton were fat to open and played into our hands. Delighted to get them in the semi.We must play the experienced guys (Broonie. Mulgrew,Commons etc). This is a must win semi final and Celtic supporters who do not want to go will have no problem selling tickets to those who do.
1800 Morton fans might not purchase
