Just to say- well done Celtic on a bright performance today.
P.S. Pity about the semi-final draw. Was hoping to be spared all the guff and the hype. I will not be in attendance at this fixture but I am damn sure there will be plenty of Maggie McGill’s 45% returning from their own personal boycott to scratch the O** F*** itch.
No criticism offered to those of us who have continued their support and will still be there for the Sevco match but I do feel contempt for all those Celtic-supporting critics who will flock back to support for this one match only

You have often claimed that 40,000 have been lost to Celtic Park. ie crowds are around 20,000. I go to the games and, generally, assess the crowds as being in the 40-45 k region. One of us is wrong.
To support my case, I give you the 14-15K against Morton. Do you really believe the normal Saturday games only have 5-6K more than that?

I accept the possibility of seeing what I might want to see but my awareness of that should counteract that factor. The semi-final might get the pulses racing for some folk but in my view it is nowhere near the biggest game we have this season. Five in a row is non-negotiable – we simply have to do it. The Aberdeen game at Celtic Park after the split is an absolutely massive game and the attendance that day will say a lot about our fans’ passion for the club in my opinion.
I couldn’t give a stuff if Sevco, or whatever ethereal entity plays in Ibrox these days, wins the cup. The league is the most important trophy in Scotland and if we win it an navigate the champions path into next season’s group stages, we will lay down a far more straightforward path to 6 in a row. If we hammer Rangers 7-0 and lose the league this season would be an unmitigated disaster.
The semi-final is their cup final not ours!

Morning Bhoys in the World of Celtic the more things change the more things stay the same We are back to being told there is an Old Firm Semi Final we are being told the Rangers are financialy stable on and off the pitch we are being told Ronny should be fired.All this and many Celtic fans who were up to recently shouting we have been cheated Celtic should do something. Now those calling for action have a chance to take action themselves and boycott the semi -final and show the football World that we want nothing to do with the cheating huns but will it happen ? not a chance the Celtic support will turn up at Hamdump and put money in to the huns pocket and the football authorities. I think Tuesday 5th April is the best date to play our catch-up game at Den’s Park against Dundee. Thistle and Utd are already scheduled to play that night and both of them and us have a game on the previous Saturday, 2nd April, as well as all four to complete the pre-split fixtures on the following Saturday, 9th April.
As far as I see and I hope Celtic agree, there will be no proper football reason to delay our league game at Den’s Park until after the split, i.e. Tuesday 12th April, Wednesday 13th April.

I received a most welcome note tonight from Bernie, my sister. old Bernie. I love her and think she’s the greatest.
I am now convinced that the authorities intend to implement strict isolation soon, as I am having trouble in seeing my solicitor. I hope I’m wrong about the isolation, but we’ll see.
It’s only that I’d like to remain with the boys for as long as possible for many reasons. If I’m isolated, I will simply conquer it.
A priest was in today, somewhat pleasant, and told me about Brendan O Cathaoir’s article in The Irish Times during the week, which I saw. We had a bit of discussion on certain points, which, of course, were to him contentious. He was cordial in his own practised way, purely tactical, of course, and at the same time he was most likely boiling over inside, thinking of the reference to this week’s AP/RN (February 28th issue) calling him a collaborating middle-class nationalist, or appropriate words to that effect.
He is too, says I, and I sympathise with those unfortunate sons of God who find themselves battling against the poverty, disease, corruption, death and inhumanities of the missions…
I am 61 kgs today, going down. I’m not troubled by hunger pangs, nor paranoiac about anything pertaining to food, but, by God, the food has improved here. I thought I noticed that during the last hunger-strike. Well, there is a lot at stake here.
