    18255 official attendance today. There must have been 2000 Morton fans so only 16k Celtic fans approx. I thought Celtic counted all tickets sold, surely there are more than 16k on HCTS?

    Anyway VVD interview at lunchtime quite revealing,since going to Liverpool that is the hardest he has had too work at training,. Maybe it isn’t about having millions to spend might just be their work ethic that sees these teams being able to play at the highest level

     

    Anyway half time in the Liverpool game so it’s back to italy for the remainder of the Lazio game.

    Those figures would include various levels of season ticket holders that had. today’s game included in their season ticket package. I know that my own season ticket entitled me to attend today’s game at no extra charge. But Morton half 12 on a Saturday when games on the telly no thanks. You couldn’t give away tickets for today’s game.

    When we played Hibs in LC semi the tickets were first come first served as TO said not enough to go round those on HCTS. We were allocated half of Hampden which is 25k approx.

    Lechia Gdańsk are Polish hoops, white and green. Their coaches were Adam Owen and Lee McCulloch. Both were fired today. The duo calmed down those who expected Lechia to be one of the toughest sides. Still plenty of time to avoid relegation.

    RIP ElDiegoBhoy: Cannot believe it is a year since I was to’ing and fro’ing trying to find the right chapel for his ‘lay over’ in Tontine Tim land .

     

    Hope his daughters are in the best of health. Their Dad was a gem.

    Even at 18,000 plus fans at £20 a go, excluding concessions that will roll in around £350k split up and add telly money Morton would have taken over £200k for the game today, no bad for them

    Our game today was as much to be endured as enjoyed but what it did tell us without any doubt is that we are much better team with 2 strikers. Hh

    A large percentage of those Hampden tickets are handed over to Club sponsors Supporters Clubs Gold Silver and Bronze matchday packages and Club Officials and Players etc . Of that large percentage that is handed over i doubt that the majority of the recipients are regular matchday season ticket holders at Celtic Park

    We looked clueless in the first half bar a couple of efforts by TR. SS was a fantastic acquisition by the club but he is clearly struggling to reproduce last season’s form. What a difference when BR brought Odsonne on. 352 next week Hh

    With Lustig out next week I can totally agree with your 3-5-2 but I think Brendan might stick to his starting formation, but think 3-5-2 would put the Sevs on the back foot from first minute

    Just had a quick scroll through and noticed a couple of comments about Scott Sinclair.

     

    I’m sure I read on here recently that he has been managing an injury. This would explain his lack of game time and dip in form

    I have always been a “2 up front” bhoy, but as you say even better now that it unsettles teams who prepare for our usual formation, if fit, I would always have Dembele & Griff in our starting 11, young Odsonne will hopefully in time be in contention to give Brendan another headache

     

     

    But again, I will leave the tactics to Brendan he is doing no too bad so far
