Ref thought long and hard on a possible penalty
Long felt contact and went down.
Will he be pulled up for diving?

Best performance of the season so far. We need to capitalise on the dominance/possession.
Good movement and a goal from a corner! Yet again in the Masonic carousel the free kicks given against us is shocking, 10-3. If you weren’t watching the game you’d think we were a South American team from the 70s! Time and time again blatant fouls against us ignored and really soft free kicks for opposition given again and again.
for all all possession far too many times our good play breaks down in the last third , are we trying to score the perfect goal all the time we get near their 18 yard line , eddy needs to waken up , and rogic needs to realise he is not playing in a 5 a- sides game.

Watching the replay of the goal…just saw big Billy score a trademark goal
Will take a 1-0 but it still feels a bit laboured and lethargic at times. Motherwell seem to be giving up a lot of space but it’s still a bit Taylor to Brown to Taylor to Brown, side to side.
When we arrive at their box they have the shape they have planned for and therefore shots at the edge of the box are blocked.
Quicker, more direct and better decision-making around the box 2nd half please….

Motherwell are letting us have the ball in wide positions, perhaps because they know the crosses won’t create chances. A bit like what we did against Barca when we beat them.
Their very narrow..
Doesn’t suit big tam.
But playing really well..
Think Taylor popped in some lovely crosses..

celtic fine form continuing – passing the ball around quickly and pressing with hunger and determination. Kenny play delightful passes into the box , usually from 30yard out – has space to get to the line but I think this Is coaching decision to keep solid defensively. Once , if, we get the 2nd – we can open up.
Eddie looks sharp but not linking with Ajeti – I’d like griff in there as he has a bit of guile and understanding with Eduard.
Great header from welsh for the goal and he has looked no nonsense and strong in the tackle.
No complaints other than the ref- he’s a Dallas clone
Tom Rogic been excellent. In fact Turnbull, McGregor and Rogic have been a good combination.

Kenny is an upgrade, simple passing and positional sense, missing since Lustig on the right.
Edouard still dwells too long, an old trait, Ajeti has to show for the pass much more often. Turnbull
is a key player all over the place, Taylor playing much better than he was.
Would like to see us go for the killer goals straight after HT.

He’s sharp enough when he’s got the ball, but It’s got to be delivered right to his feet, he won’t move to get it if it’s not put on a plate for him.
The question was….who can team up with Jullienne?……the question now should be…who can team up with Welsh….outstanding so far
their only attacks come from slack play from us , SB a couple of times with poor passes put us under pressure,
would like to see more urgency and getting the ball forward other than continually passing across our back 4 side to side and back again.
