What a night last night was, reckon I’m getting too old for it now.

Well we won the league, according to the huns they are tainted titles as they weren’t involved…stand back monkeys and realise you weren’t participants due to your cheating ways…No demotion…No relegation…you cheated and got caught…hell mend you.

    Hail Hail.

Highly unlikely ‘Dick’ Barton will turnout for the Tax Dodgers XI.

He did similar end of last season after £70K per week pay-off from QPR – courted all sorts of publicity with various teams (private jet to Switzerland) before joining Burnley.

He’s getting his 7 days of fame up here from the Succulent Lamb MSM.

Just been announced he’s part of Talk(EPL)Sport for the Euros – finishes 10th July.

Dick is a Social Media junkie!

  3. Has “Big ” Mark McGhee been given the keys to the Celtic Bus yet?

Missed the game yesterday due to an unexpected work day:((

Came home and watched the re-run and much to my delight Celtic gave Ronny a cracking send off with some scintillating football and a great Celtic atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole Celtic TV programme.

Watching the young team yesterday made the future look brighter, there are some very decent footballers for the new man to work with. looking forward to Celtic’s next game already.

The past is just that and the endless raking over of the coals is best left to more qualified vitriolholics than me.

Thank you Ronny for your efforts, buff said, thank you John Collins for your interview yesterday and I wish you both well in your next ventures.

Welcome Celtic’s new manager, today please so the debate can crack on:))

A wee holiday here the day to catch up with all things family and Celtic!

  4. Well, it’s the old queeeeeeery…..

If, Big McGhee had Ronny’s players

    and,…….

If, Ronny had Big McGhee’s players

what would the score have been ?

    More to the point….

If, Big McGhee had Ronny’s s players

in the SCAF v’s the huns….

what would the score have been ?

Thanks Ronny for the trophy’s but

ye were a puppet-manager who half emptied the stadium!

It’s no your fault that you were recruited.

The recruiters should now be walking the plank.

DD, PL, JP and the serpents on the board….oot!

Best football I’ve seen us play for a while. My thoughts only… He set his team out for us to pump them, like he did with the sheep.;))

  6. POLICE SCOTLAND.

Just off the ‘phone to Mrs Tally who informs me that daughter, and three of her workmates, had their purses stolen last night in a four star hotel in Troon which is located right next to Royal Troon GC.

The rozzers were called, only to be told that they would not be able to come out until Wednesday!

They were probably too busy harassing young Celtic fans for singing songs and brandishing menacing looking flags and banners!

    Feckin scunnered!

    HH!!

  7. Name me a manager

    Goal map was interesting.

I guess a similar thing for sevco would show most goals scored from a distance of 12 yards right in the centre of the box.

I wonder how the SMSM would react if Celtic were trying sign Joey Barton? Would they regurgitate all his past misdemeanors?

Seem a bit quiet on that.

Warbs jets internationally to get his men – ex-EPL men too.

Celtic are currently rudderless and soon to face devestating rejections as candidates drop out. Yes, the club decides against hiring everyone in the process but there’s more…

ach you know the rest. Let’s hold our nerve. A team in place to face the qualifiers with some hope will require some hard work. Meeting the Warbs challenge next season will be BAU……

A grand day out yesterday; saw a wee curlew on way up to the game; glorious sunshine with matching football from the Champs.

And spent time with excellent CQNers BT, Favourite Uncle,Kolncelt [nice badges, btw],Eurochamps,BSR,TBB,SFTB and ole Subterranean.

  15. If McGhee had Ronnie’s players?

Thankfully that’s something we won’t have to worry about. Biggest club he’s managed is Aberdeen, and he’s officially their worst ever manager.

Yesterday was like watching the twists n turns Tommy Burns’ side.

Superb that was yesterday. Absolutely brilliant. It should have been 4-0 before we even got the first.

Christie will be an absolute star for us. Roberts with that first season under his belt also. Young Aitch will be a bit part player I’d assume but a Vg one. Tierney sheer quality. The real Armstrong showed up yesterday. Rogic superb. Eric is gonna be VVD Mark 2.

There’s a magnificent 7. Griff can add another 40 goals next season. I believe Scott Allan can all be a big player for us.

We need to add 4 players.

Dare I say a Barton type midfielder, a quality striker to support what we have, another Eric type at the back and a good right back.

That’ll do for the stroll that will be the SPL under a good manager, and would give us a better than 50/50 chance in qualifying for CL.

Get res 12 out in the open, a good manager in, within the next 7 days with the promise of some money, and those season books will be flying off the shelves.

The atmosphere yesterday was fantastic. Recreate that next year and it’s gonna be a fantastic 2017. ( in my humble opinion)

GORDON TAYLOR, the chief executive of the PFA, was left shaking his head in despair after learning yesterday that yet another wayward youngster had succeeded in bringing shame upon the sport at a time when the players’ union has been endeavouring to improve the image of its members.

Joey Barton, the Manchester City midfield player, faces serious internal action — a fine of about £60,000, which is equal to four weeks’ wages — after he pushed a lit cigar into the eyes of a young team-mate at the club’s Christmas party at a city-centre nightclub on Sunday evening.

My season book will stay on shelf until PL has gone.

Loved the footy yesterday. Did not attend. I was a wee bit jealous watching on TV and I’m sure I will be watching from afar next season.

Sad to see a nice man go but glad to see his reign come to an end. A nice wee send off for him.

A poor decision to employ him in the managerial role. If he’d been employed in the role intended he may well have ended up at the club for years successfully nurturing through batch after batch of young boys. He is IMO a loss to the club as a coach and mentor but not as a manager. I wish him every success in the future.

The talent displayed on the park bodes well for the future. Like you I want to see a manager brought in who has full authority (yeah I know Ronny did because PL and Ronny said so with a full NDA I’m sure) and is able to identify the weak areas of the team and positions requiring recruitment. From there he will then advise the scouting department of the requirements who will then employ their experience to identify targets within the clubs price range in an attempt to employ the highest quality they can for the buck they have rather than working for PL to develop the project he so readily discuss’s with little grace. No more quantity. A little more quality please.

Once I see that strategy in place then even I may well over look the fact PL is cumbersomely still in place working on behalf of his bonus.

Great day. Really pleased everyone enjoyed it.

And I’m delighted BBhoy and his ghirl Cara attending her first game had a fantastic day out.

    Lawwell brings in next.

We should be getting rid of Lawwell.

  26. 3 St Ninians Kirkintilloch pupils play for Celtic in one week. It shows the link up with Lennoxtown can work.

Next season we need to buy the Eriks of this world—-no more projects. Use our money to put the best team on the park and forget about resale value. St Ninians can deliver the projects and introduce them in League Cup etc

Most important – achieve CL qualification. We need a strong manager—not another puppet.

I cannot see Lawwell putting Celtics interests before his own unfortunately —- based on his track record over the years. As such his exit needs to be planned at the appropriate point.
