  1. Tom McLaughlin on

FollowFollow raging because Sky put up 2 Irishmen, one a Celtic loanee and another an ex-Celt, for interview right after the game.

    Apparently it was provocative.

    🙈

I see they’re up at court again this morning. Is there now an official Rangers end in the Courts? :))

    ———-

    Lol.

    Wasn’t aware.

    What is it this time?

  3. Bbc scotland 7:30am news covers the Wrexham promotion, doesn’t even mention the huns 😉

    Loving the hun pain.

Goooood morning to you early bhoys, hope you’re

    all hail ..hail and hearty.

I’ve been busy all day while you lot have been dossing.

All my lines, 3 parks, done and dusted quite quickly.

Amazing how a good results weekend gets the old

    Adrenalin going.

Fairly tramped around the ground today with my paint

machine, I pods on and BOTOB pushing me on.

Felt a bit weary at the final goal lines but an inspiring

rendition of YNWA got me back to the clubhouse and

a can of well earned beer.

Now I think I’ll read back, surely a happy blog 😜

  5. These are great Celtic times.

I dearly hope we can win next week and then we need to keep our manager for just one more season. I realize the first JS probably more likely than the second but if we do then we might just overtake that mobs combined trophy collection next season. We might just get that wee run in Europe we all crave. That mobs 5 euro final appearances and ability to go deep in Europe and their greatest ever club is all they have left. Hopefully before our man moves in we can usurp these with a Europa Final in Dublin and a back to back treble before the new European revamp.

The meltdown and recriminations will go on for the summer if we win next week. It is huge. We should be doing all in our power to allow Jota Harare and Abada to influence the outcome positively. The 6 games after that will be party time.

  6. Good morning, friends.

A wee minor correction from my MOTM results post last night. A schoolboy error on my part. Domestically this season we have now played 40, winning 37, drawing 2 and losing 1.

    As you were…..

  7. Good morning from a cold and overcast North Staffs

Later today is Brenda’s funeral – a tough day especially for Mrs Gene.

  8. 24th April 1937, Celtic beat Aberdeen 2:1 to win the Scottish Cup in front of a world record attendance: 147,365 fans.

  9. That result in Aberdeen cheered me up no end after the disappointment from our game on Saturday . We were poor but still made enough chances to win 3 games ,why we need to walk the ball into the net is a mystery , there were opportunities on Saturday to have a dig . Along with the good play to get to the bye line we never seem to find a Celt with the cut back , but the main man will sort that out . But we have watched some play this season ,superb . I hope to god the suits move heaven and earth to keep hold of ange , back him in every way possible with the players he wants to aim for Europe , he has this up here sussed . HH

  10. Nipping up to the Uk Embassy for emergency travel doc for The Dam on May 18; not missing Depeche Mode for any red tape!!

The saga of getting a passport has been rolling since January.

Post Brexit UK is a disaster, starting to regret voting for it now.

  11. In Glasgow Sheriff Court today, Sheriff Reid presiding, South Bank Asset Finance Ltd vs The Rangers Football Club Ltd. I believe it’s a pre-proof hearing. Looks like the Huns haven’t paid a due debt. Case ref GLW-CA85-22.

  13. My friends in Celtic,

    Can Celtic fulfil Ange’s aspirations?

I think we can. Europe will be absolutely vital and its good to hear Ange has plans for the summer.

I hope Celtic use common sense with their season ticket renewal prices. We realise they must go up, but keep it affordable.

The support cannot be underestimated in our future planning. Could we offer some sort of discount for hard pressed families ?

One thing we can do is ensure our support is put first .

That means no more huns at Paradise. Not 7k, not 700 but ziltch.

We don’t need them and we certainly don’t want them.

Let more of our own fans witness the journey.

You know it makes sense Celtic.

    HH the journey continues.

The child ST is a great deal currently. A family ticket probably would be a great idea as you say but could be a logistics nightmare.

The oft mentioned Season Ticket sharing or ‘subletting’ schemes would be good too. Pretty sure some expensive EPL tickets are shared .

Kris Commons was a decent player but HOOPS HERO?

    Hmm….

  16. HS

I haven’t read the article but I bet there is a good chance of ‘midfield operator’ or ‘Hoops raider’ being used😎

I`m afraid not. The two references were :

    `Fans` favourite and playmaker`

The latter is fairly accurate and I`m sure he was the favourite of some fan, somewhere :-))

    Cheerio for now.

  18. JimTim

Sadly it won’t be ‘suits’ who will determine if our manager stays. It will be realizing his football ambitions.

  19. BURNLEY78 on 24TH APRIL 2023 10:46 AM

Maybe Ange can remain happy where he is ?

“Who soars too near the sun, with golden wings, melts them.”

    William Shakespeare

    Definitely off now.

We win the league, we equal old Rangers trophy collection, win the treble we overtake it.

  21. Any idea when the fixtures will be confirmed ?

It seems Hibs and St Mirren at home, Hearts, Dons and the Rangers away is the likely hands but the specific order is what matters. First game at home in Coronation Saturday would be perfect. If not an early kick off Sunday pls.
