There seems to be a reluctance of our wing backs to hit the bye line. Personally I think it would make a big difference if we tried it more often

I had my doubts about wee Mikey but he looks like he’s up for it.
He could provide the width and ability to go by the fullback we have missed for the last 3 months or so.

Plus points.Soro,fantastic game.Griff getting a much needed 80 mins,and great goal.Ajer charming forward,breaking the lines.Turnbull,steady game,and nice goal.
Minus points.Christie,Eddy,and apart from his excellent assist,JF,who afterwards,in second half ,reverted to type,and wasted 3 great chances to cut the ball back to a Celtic player.

Thought it was decent….. Could easily have been 5 or 6… Missed a lot of chances… But a good sign making them…. Taylor for me… Nothing great but steady….. Laxalt gives away too many fouls and sort of gives me the fear….. Griff well short….. Thought Eddie was good just needs a goal or two….. Soro MOM for me…

Mikey has crapped the bed too many times against the Huns for me to have any confidence in him doing it a week on Saturday.I think we have to go with Eddy,Griff,hoping Eddy wakens up.

Need to wait till next game to find out.Not making excuses for Lenny,but it must be baffling,how many times different players,just don’t perform consistently.Surely Calmac can get a rest on Saturday.
My impression is that there’s more of a team spirit on show and some players are getting their mojo back. Still a long way to go but nudging in the right direction.

Substitutions baffling.
Apart from his pass to Turnbull for the gaol, Frimpong was, err, Frimpong.
He should have been replaced by Johnson who would, imo, have made much more of the service Frimpong received.
And why was Turnbull subbed at all? He was voted MOTM.
Still, a wins a win, especially after a hard game on Sunday.

Mikey is not what we want to be putting our hopes in anytime soon.Along with the goalie who up till Sunday had not much to do.Then we seen he can’t come for anything but can save a penalty 🤔

Ok, they’re young footballers badges BUT, I did learn a little about game plans and tactics.
In my playing days I played schools, juvenile and amateur.
I never entered ONE game, either as a player or coach without a game plan or tactics. As a player my coach(es) would instruct me what to do and how to play particular opposition players. As a coach I would instruct my players/team how I wanted them to play. I’d point out the oppositions weakness’s and strengths and set up my players/ team with all of that in mind. I had more success than failure both as a player and as a coach because of that.
The very fact Lenny says he doesn’t do tactics is all too evident on the pitch unfortunately

Frimpong is useless at right back why the feck change Ajer who was doing well there, in fact I dont even know what position Frimpong was playing. Useless apart from the goal, he hid to many times not interested.
Passing across the back ffs why oh why.
Ajer was having to run through the middle because the wing backs or full backs or wingers whatever the fuck Laxalt and Frimpong were, were not moving forward quick enough.
That game should have been a 5, 6, 7-0 and the Ref was a dcik.
Oh and by the way dont buy Gas central heating insurance from Brittish gas that’s the last 3 times for my annual check that I have been left without hot water and heating. I told the pr#k my boiler has operated for 6years at 1.4 bar no less, he goes away and my boiler is at 1.0 bar and does not work, feckin raging. Now i cannot get it on or fill up to 1.4 bar as i used to.
