Very similar to the Killie game. Solid, authoritative performance if unspectacular.
Soro again protecting our defence, cutting out the silly goals and giving us another clean sheet.
Won’t get people on the edge of their seats but a comfortable win, a clean sheet and to be honest, had we played like this all season, we might’ve been a lot closer to Sevco.

There was nothing there to suggest this is a 10 n a row team.Nothing
Delighted with the three points, but that team is NEVER going to win the league, we are pish and that is being polite.

Soro – what a player!
Greenpinata on
The positives : 3 points, another goal for Griffalo and a clean sheet for Conor Hazard. The goalkeeper slot is now his to lose.
The negatives: The huns increase their lead by 1 goal. We are still not firing on all cylinders and OE has most definitely lost his mojo.
HH, the journey continues.

hard to describe the game – 3 points, clean sheet – minutes for a few fringe players. 2nd half was like a training session with sporadic patterns of good play , usually starting with Soro.
My MotM Soro and Turnbull combo
Rangers will run our defense ragged unfortunately – we need to be top notch from midfield to front to have any chance as we still look awful at the back.

Pleased with the win

3 points, clean sheet but a poor, disjointed performance again. Pretty dire stuff to be honest.
I’m not a Hun troll just see a Celtic team with little ideas again, poor final balls and poor again from both strikers.
Interestingly Hamilton pitch might be easier to play on than Celtic Park it’s a disgrace
I thought that in the last 15 minutes we looked a bit like our old selves……it’s a start

agree – this is not a league winning team YET. Julien and Ajer complain too much and don’t show real leadership. If we hang on until the transfer window , 2 physical players could turn the tide.
The damage was done with a poor pre season in terms of player quality – we paid the price and now need to hope for drastic turnaround. Rangers fell apart before but the have more depth and they are not playing in front of fans (helps them and not us)

Hibs mm main striker sent off … My that’s lucky for the next team to face them ….. You don’t need to ask !

Feeling more confident, wins coming thick n fast. Let’s see what January brings, we came from further behind In the past. 10 iar still there to be grabbed. Football is a funny business , money talks.

I’d try a 4-1-4-1 formation
Tighter defensively and room for a playmaker

Substitutions baffling.
Apart from his pass to Turnbull for the gaol, Frimpong was, err, Frimpong.
He should have been replaced by Johnson who would, imo, have made much more of the service Frimpong received.
And why was Turnbull subbed at all? He was voted MOTM.
Still, a wins a win, especially after a hard game on Sunday.
The referee seemed to miss a lot and the RC players seemed to leave a leg in often or run into a Celtic player after they had passed the ball.
Have we stopped putting on those lights to protect the pitch? It is worse than ever and that cannot help our play.
Penny wise, pound foolish?

That formation with Turnbull and Soro playing of course
Hot Smoked on
Occasional moments of quality but still too many mistakes from too many players. Soro,Ajer and Frimpong my three for Jobo .McGregor and Turnbull also played quite well. Jullien good and bad.; laxalt? Not for me. Griff needs a bit more confidence but his goal might help. Johnston again showing he has what it takes. Christie not so great tonight. Eddie? Some signs of a return to form. Hazard had little to do but the game time was good for him.
Cheerio for now.
Moisey17 on
Untidy and lacking maintenance & effective management.
We got what we needed at this point, a win. Played well at times maybe a yard short of the killer instinct that would have delivered more goals. Decent result, and we now need to keep the wins coming, only thing we can do right now.
120 minutes of football 3 days ago. You can rareky exoect a classic after that.
What I saw was something I’d have bitten your hand off for a few weeks back – a solid, steady, professional performance.
Still not at the top of our game but what we seem to be seeing is that we are much steadier with Soro and Turnbull in the team.
If our front men were hitting better form that would be a 4, 5 or 6 goal win tonight.
And to top it off the last time we played Ross County to this performance was night and day.
One game at a time now. Simples.

When you look at the massed ranks of scoddland, against who, our Great Community must compete against, I’m pleased that we are just keeping going forward………..
3 points, clean sheet, lovely.
BTW – who are the huns playin’ next?
It’s no’ Hibs , is it?
Did Hibs no’ just have their striker sent afff?
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Aye.

Very frustrating performance despite the 3 points and clean sheet.
How many times did we have a great position in and around their box then 2 passes later we were back in our own half ? And just not sharp enough in their box – how many shots were blocked ?
The tempo needs to be upped and we need pacy players driving across the park making runs and making space. It’s all a wee bit pedestrian. Never mind – roll on Hamilton.

First 2 players for the bench on Saturday………..Edouard and Christie.

Subbed tonight and Sunday.
What about Lille and Killie?
David17 on
I think we played well although were very wasteful in front of goal. Encouraged by the transition through midfield which is much quicker. The team seemed to have more confidence and took more responsibility individually. Work rate was very good. MJ looks sharp.
Every game now is a cup final but that was encouraging.
