’39. My nipples are talking to me.’

    hahahahahahahahaha

oh happy day. Great to get JF back. He’ll do the same the next time we play the other ‘parkers of buses’ – livi.

  2. Morning ghuys.

Only for some great blocking tackles by St J the scoreline would have reflected our dominance.

Jota is a breath of fresh air around the staleness of our league…… Hope he hangs around although I suspect he’s doing a great sales job on current viewings.

Sooner or later Hart might get caught out with his casual/dallying approach in getting rid of the ball, hopefully it doesn’t cost us as he inspires in all other areas.

Ange is getting us there sooner than I thought possible from last year’s shit show, hope the Big man continues to improve us…… Roll on the windae 💚✅☘️🇮🇪

  3. Let’s hope we are not any more than 4 points behind come January, as we really need some players in , especially in midfield.

  4. Playing out from the back has almost cost us so many goals.

    Pilot: Front tyre almost worn

    Engineer: Front tyre almost replaced

If it ain’t broke there is nothing to fix.

  5. Thought many of our players were outstanding yesterday without us getting the goals the play merited.

Bitton after getting booked was fantastic. Ralston, Jota, CCV, Welsh, Juranovic, Ralston… the list goes on.

My MotM was CalMac, again. On the ball and off the ball he is sensational.

  6. I totally agree with SuperSutton.

It may look like a close 1-0 game. It wasn’t.

Superb Ange and All the Bhoys.

    C’mon the Hibees Today.

Hampden looks alright, when its All Green & White.

  7. St Tams,

You wurnae, respect, I said to my Dad that we had done ok in the first half. Dad said we were rubbish.

We are a totally new team and we were up against the most successful team efter the Hoops over the last decade, and the mib as per. We won and it should have been mair convincing but 1-0 seems appropiate.

    I liked that :-)))

Might I add , though , that we used to say: leave well alone and that wasn`t broken but we still copied the American `ain`t broke`expression.

    ——————————————————–

in that scenario , do you wait till its worn and causes an accident …or take preventative steps and prevent a needless accident.

Hart may never cause a goal by his dallying with the ball at his feet , but as many are aware he was close to making contact with the St J player (O’Haloren} i think it was ….the refs would have no hesitation in sending him off …..just my opinion why take the risk .

  10. It is common knowledge that Hart is very poor with the ball at his feet. If he wasn’t, he’d be playing in EPL, as he’s still a good shot stopper.

  11. Awe dear ,slippy jumped ship a week or so to early , he would have been a shoe in at old trafford . 😜😜😜😜

  12. Morning Lefti.

Hope all good over your way P.would be good to see you and the grand wean at Celtic soon my friend hopefully not to long.enjoyed yesterday,a Celtic victory.whitsnotaelike 😊

  13. Grandson (HE IS 11 NOW) was there with his dad yesterday bud, phoned me as he was leaving Hampden buzzing.

    HappydaysCSC.

Just watched Sportscene from last night, could not believe madhun sending off that Aberdeen player after being attacked from a guy in the crowd😵.

If that’s not rescinded then a dangerous precedent has been set.

what i am struggling with is, what actual offence did the player do ?

Sionnaigh – keep up the good work on the “Nightshift” …

… Every morning I come across at least one song in your list that triggers a fond response.

    Respect.

Scullybhoy – huge loss maybe but certainly a loss.

(I suspect the loss of Hjelde to Leeds will be greater).

In truth I didn’t know too much about Hepburn and Morrison at Celtic.

Have some sympathy with the club on this one.

Genuine attempts to improve this area of “football operations” but the pathway in Scotland for young players is, frankly, rubbish.

Colts against Juniors well intentioned and will likely deliver some benefit but feels like a sticking plaster to me.

Left field maybe but (bit repetitive here) I’d like to see us explore owning/aligning to an academy in England.

Admittedly that might be radical nonsense … significant governance and logistical challenges involved …. but, IMHO, worth a look.

  17. prestonpans bhoys on

Correct bhoys, this is a place of work and he’s entitled to the same protection that any other industry has.

Moreover he didn’t even raise his hands, which btw he was entitled too.

  18. GuyFawkesaforeverhero on

Well played the Celts, 16 not out.

If a few more Scots batsman had reached the same total during the T20 World Cup, it would’ve been happier days.

Watching the Ojo clip, my first thought was a yellow for jumping the advert board. By the referee rulebook (SFA edition), the player is required to clatter into the obstruction and apply a sticking plaster to any bits of his/her neck which has been broken.

  19. Back to Basics - Glass Half Full on

    Ah simple pleasures ….

Just dropped someone off at local sports facility.

While waiting in car park my eyes were drawn to an adult male amateur football match.

You know the script – 22 guys who love their food.

Not a specimen in sight but lots of endeavour … and they all got up off their backsides to play which is more than I do.

While I watched, wee chubby goalkeeper WEARING A CELTIC TOP pulled off a quite unbelievable double save at a free kick.

    🙂

  20. Joe Hart needs to stop this dilly dallying with the ball at his feet, just kick the ball up the park, simple as that,Ange should be making another goalkeeper his priority in January, and lay off Bada he is a good young football player, his problem is the lack of service from Ralston which needs addressed,as for big Bitton what a difference when Ange plays him in his preferred position,I thought he was the man of match yesterday.

  21. JHB

I’ve never watched your team before unless they have been playing us. I’ll tell you what, it is quite good fun.

As a side note, commentary on bigot TV are a absolute joy to listen to.
