  1. Was working today so missed most of game. Now seen the goals and will catch highlights later.

To say I’m impressed at our current levels of performance is an understatement. How one man has brought about this transformation on his tod is nothing short of amazing.

Everyone has bought into HIS vision. Board, backroom staff, players and supporters. Very impressive and single minded. Normally someone with that drive puts people off….not Ange. The bhoys are busting a gut out there.

How far can we go next season and who we can bring in to enhance what we already have is making my mouth water.

    We never stop.

  2. Big JIMMY

  3. Will we have away, home, home, away, home after split?

    Mmmmmmm?

    Had 5 – 0 today Darn it.

  4. Oops just seen we are set to face the manky mob in 1st game at home after split.

    D :)

  5. DAVID66

I’m sorry mate, but my ticket for next week, has been promised to my sons pal, or I would have given you it.

  6. If what we saw today is part of angeโ€™s plan, I truly take my hat off to him for that, it energised a support who after the last two years needed a lift and I’m not just talking about football, thanks ange

  7. As far as I’m aware, there is no announcement yet on post-spilt matches…(see below from David Irvine of The Herald)

“THE SPFL have warned there could be a “slight delay” to the publication of the post-split Scottish Premiership fixtures ahead of the “most dramatic pre-split weekend ever.

The chaotic final weekend could mean a delay to when post-split fixtures are confirmed by league chiefs.

But it’s hoped an official announcement of the final league matches will be confirmed as soon as possible next week”.

It may well be we do face the Ibrox team in the first game – I”d be happy if we do, however I don’t think we know just yet.

  8. St Tams – Thanks.

    I am looking for 1 Guys anyone….

It’s for my wee Grandson his dad has a ticket but he doesn’t.

He goes to every home game cup game and any away game he can get tickets for.

    D :)

    ——–

Translated that means as soon as we can try and rig it in the Huns favour. Round yeez

    D :)

  10. Just had photos sent from my granddaughters Thetwo of them giving Kyoto high fives and Bitton selfies .

One from Fanad and one from Scotland, celebrating all that we are ,open to all HH

  11. First goal. Balloon behind me shouts โ€œtakinโ€™ too many touchesโ€; 3 touches later and Hatate scores.

Not sure if he heard my response of โ€œseems like it wasnโ€™t too many touches after allโ€ due to noise of celebrations taking too long to subside.

  12. Just watched sky news on the sports report. They mentioned English premier esp

    Chelseaโ€™s six nil win .

    No mention of CELTICS WIN

    NOTHING .

Iโ€™ll take it as a compliment ,talk about hurting I feel sorry for them it must really hurt.

  13. Daizen’s spatial awareness for Liels goal was Incredible.

So many Top Drawer goals today.

I think this is a very special team being built by Ange.

  14. Great performance by Greg Taylor. He was in the running for Motm. Except Juranovic would have pipped him. Thatโ€™s if it hadnโ€™t been for Starfelt.

Seems strange that in a game were we score 7 goals and the opposition hardly get a sniff of a goal that Iโ€™ve highlighted 3 defenders.

Except they were instrumental in our attacking play as well as contributing to the clean sheet.

In Starfelts case, at 1-0 and 2-0 he showed blistering pace to snuff out attacks from St Johnstone. His passing out from defence may not have been as incisive as CCV but it was effective. And his forays forward with the ball at his feet were a joy.

  15. You know what I liked most today. At least two of our goals originated from being under heavy pressure in our left back area. I can only imagine the howls of derision had we not already been ahead at that time.

After some brave and slick passing to get out of trouble, we were up the other end scoring (and also nearly scoring) within 15 seconds.

  16. Tom Rogic is a magician with a wand of a left foot. How does he do it?

And yet, Matt Oโ€™Riley is mercurial with a cultured left foot – or is he cultured with a mercurial left foot?

And not bad with his right.

Iโ€™m sure he would love to get his own back with a victory over them next week for causing him to be subbed to due to their uncultured tackling.

  17. Speaking of uncultured tackling, Turnbull was the recipient of two scurrilous challenges which left him unable to finish the game. Neither were worthy of a free kick according to the ref.

  18. SuperSutton

That was a real team performance. Joe Hart might have had little to do but he is there and Praise the Lord for him being there and being so Cool and up for Every challenge.

He won’t get the POTY but he has been massive for Celtic this Season.

Our movement today was constant and thats what our Leader wants.

St Johnstone were made to look like amateurs.

Bring on oldfirm fc next week. I cannae wait.

  19. Supersutton

Your correct ,Dallas allowed terrible tackles to go comparatively unnoticed because we were so far ahead .

He is a cheat like someone else we know

  20. On a side note, well-done sky for ignoring Scottish footballs two other derbys, please buy a chipped stick ๐Ÿ‘

  21. Did Celtic create a record of some sort re number of passes made today? Cetainly looked like it to me.

  22. Robert Tressell from earlier answer to jhb.

I actually remember a cousin of mine telling me Rangers oldco were in trouble in around the Advocaat years. That gave me hope but I couldnโ€™t see it really. I clung to it. Then we watched Rangers die. Unbelievable. Then we had the calamity that was them โ€˜making friends on the journeyโ€™. I velueve the reason so many of us loved it so much was the years of hurt we experienced. We thought it was just refs cheating but we found out it was financial doping and for me if they arenโ€™t punished properly by the football powers that be for that, then I take every bit of on field hurt they endure as a small bit of pay back.

HI Robert,I went thro all those emotions too,I recall dry78,late 80s 90s.i remember 94 especially, and our msm, hubris and reporting and story placing was in full flow as Minty weaved his “ran by David” wand as Craig Whyte book tells us.Then all the lamb.Theres payback ๐Ÿคฃ I agree against whatever spectrefc identity we play.

The factual distinction of Liquidation tho is historical.

    It happened.A fact.irreversible.

The whole ownership of it from birth to death.owned.

    It is not banter(seriously:-)).

Its finality is astonishing and timeless now.

    It is historical fact.

As was there no Catholic policy.

History will only reveal more and more.

Her Majestys involvement in Mintys nefarious tax avoidance is a historical cherry.

    BIG G,

It look like SKY will not even take the number of games they have paid for this season.

SPFL are served terribly by SKY

  25. !!BADA BING!! on 9TH APRIL 2022 7:56 PM

Different eras i know,,but i think this is the most attacking Celtic team i have seen, Tommyโ€™s team was against better IMO, but this is the here and now, amazing constant attacking football

Defo BB,there was a flow today, great running,in calmac and reo we have players who appear to be unphased on the ball, had a chat with an old 84 friend,he was saying TBesque,:-) Ta for bringing Tommy Burns up BB after that today it makes you think of his input into our way of playing,on today’s display he would be smiling.

    :-)
