  1. What is the Starz on

Helander and Lundstrum hobbled off injured in the first half.

    Roofe just scored a second

I think they might clinch the league this afternoon..

  2. There’s a great deal on Soap Powder in Tesco’s at the moment………..I’ll see if I can find a link.

  3. RobertT – thank-you kindly.

I never expected anything but news of self-inflicted injuries is something I suppose!

    :)

  4. St. Mirren center half kneels down instead of challenging Roofe for his second header. What on earth was he doing? He made no attempt whatsoever to get to the ball. Really weird.

That’ll be you surf(in) yon internet then …😂😜

  6. Had to turn off the game

Apart from OF being 2 up, the football is just dire.

If we play with the speed and determination that we showed yesterday, we will destroy them in Hampden.

  7. Not sure many old firm fans will be feeling good about todays romp v st Mirren. He lander and Lundstrom injuries will not be helpful to their cause. Although personally I am not sure I am happy with Lundstrom missing v us next week.

  8. Had a terrible dream last night that Newcastle sacked Howe and took Ange, ironic but ffs hope it was just a dream

    KINGLuBO

  9. Hope Ange is talking mince about Kyoto not starting next week.Maybe thinking that Gio will recover from a Hammy in a week, but his evaluations of injuries have been,a tad off the mark so far.No Gio,Kyogo must play.

Unless he is fine with,God help us,Ajeti,or even worse,a Brendan tactic,AJ at CF.

    Worried by these utterances.

Happy to see Lundstrom injured today.Just the guy to injure one of our players next week.Animal.

  10. Melbourne Mick on

Hello again all you young rebels.

Big Jimmy the Calton cruiser 😍

Told PADDYMACOZ you were asking for him, he goes into hospital

next week again to get a skin growth removed, he has to have his legs elevated

for a week apparently because of his previous health scares and operations, all

he’s worried about is the next CSC Sunday and who’s selling the fitba card lol.

    DAVID 66

My young loons are doing o.k, played a couple of friendlies and won handsomely

wee mhan all 6’2 and strike partner 6’3 bangin them in, but we’re entering a U 20s

League this year, big ask for a mainly u17 team, hey ho, we don’t stop sic ( ANGE )

  11. Andy Walker spent around 3 or 4 minutes of that game trying to convince anyone watching, that the totally blatant foul by Helander, one he injured himself, was “6 of one, half dozen”guff. After countless replays, decided,”Did not really see any foul by SM player”but not very convincingly.

    A joke of a Tim.

  12. Forgot to mention last night. The ball from Kyogo to Maeda that Abada the scored. That was CLASS.

And I too love that they are now called Old Firm. I’m using it for evermore.

Got Norwich game in the background, may as well be played behind closed doors, crowd noise zero

  14. If you want a laugh, read the BBC report on the OF game. Succulent lamb covered in caviar.

Just read that piece, wouldn’t be out of place on a hun fan website. They are so far up their backside it’s embarrassing😵😱

Andy Walker…….a joke of a Tim

    —-

The criticism of Andy Walker is a “joke”.

The Walker family are Celtic supporters. Andrew Francis Walker played 150 games for Celtic over six years and scored 39 goals.

When working in his job at Sky, he is expected to be impartial – i.e. look for both sides of the story.

Nowadays in games against *Rangers, with Ally McCoist alongside, Andy is able to take a more “Celtic leaning’ view, and he does on certain occasions – e.g. his quip to McCoist in the dying stages of the Ibrox match last week “when are you getting your penalty?”.

He is an easy target for those intent on looking for one – Davie Provan, Packy Bonner are others who get unjustified flack from some on here…..sad to witness. HH

  17. It has to be Celtic v old firm at CP on the 23rd or 24th April. No other option unless the police don’t want 2 such games in 6 days.

The risk of them losing points if they have another game before they play us would surely be too great for the authorities.

For me I would be fine if it weee delayed until May1st as it is the Celtic Player of the Year event that night. How perfect a celebration would that be ?

Know idea who will win that though ?

  18. Cutely, blasted, gorgeous, positivity, perfect, pounced, fabulously, delicately, thundering, manfully, pin-sharp, cleverly, lashed, procession, jaw-dropping, spectacularly, ruthlessness.

The above are some words, taken in order from the beeb’s Sevco game report. Hilarious!

Pretty sure you’re right. As far as I can see it’s the only guaranteed way to ensure we don’t win ‘it’ against the (not so old) Old Firm.

  20. at the moment Player of the Year is very hard to predict, think if I was pushed to vote right now, I’d vote for Carter Vickers,

However like the last round of a Boxing Match, those who have a great finish to Season will attract a lot of attention,

A cornucopia of nouns, verbs & adjectives. Maybe penned by an intern eager to impress!

  23. Corkcelt

    Interesting re CCV

A back room staff member said similar to me yesterday. Also big shouts for Joe Hart who has apparently been huge influence in supporting his other suggestion of Captain McGregor.

For me there are about 8 options. Maybe even more.

Your final point about who is showing in the final furlong maybe right. That really will be the next 2 weeks for the award on May 1st.

Back to back vs the old firm may just determine it.

I thought the same. Ref the bbc report on the old firm game today.

The bbc don’t have 2 farthings to rub together and their economy drive is bringing ever more junior members into their ranks. The resultant output is variable at best.

  26. JHB

    Yes indeed.

I bought an awful thesaurus once. I wouldn’t say it was terrible but it was terrible.

  27. Celtics Player of the year ??

It’s terrific we have many options, Kyogo until he was injured, CCV has been very good, Joe Hart has been so influential on the park and at Lennoxtown, Abada has been nothing short of outstanding …. injury has interrupted Kyogo, Jota & Giamakous… but for me and it’s one of the few who Ange didn’t sign

Callum MacGregor …. has been outstanding

Captain Calmac for me … but would understand others who disagree
