  1. Burnley78,

I tried Golf and it wisnae for me. I never got a birdie

The wee drap Dalmuir should have got me a Birdie.

I joined the Dumbarton Golf Club for 1 Season only.

Respect to those that play it to a high standard. Its a hard game to do well in.

  2. Had a wee swatch at the Bear Ass Den there. They were discussing where the money would come from for the rebuild next year.So enlightening,

“Kent,Aribo,Morelos will bring in 40 million,so we have no worries on that score”

One of those moments when you would”Just like to tell them”.

Always gives a wee chuckle reading .

  3. B78,

It was ballsy buying Lars Rickets,as you said its a nice City to visit.

Noone knows what is just around the corner.

Was there a breakdown of the £40m ???

Remember this mob can’t understand liquidation never mind simple arithmetic

Kent …. Maybe £15m due to Europa league and Liverpool owning at least a third of any transfer

Aribo & Morelos in last year of their contracts … not sure they will get £25m for those two …

Bankiebhoy1 has posted from day dot <4 Morelos that now looks like a big ask … he will sit on his bahookie and end uo at Norwich or West Brom for a right good few quid @ month with a nice signing on fee for him and his agent ..,, with the Huns getting hee and haw

Aribo might get a Southampton or a Brentford

  5. I am in disagreement with Paul67, I, would have Roy Keane at Celtic.

He is wise and frae the County Cork.

Things are gonnae get mental the next few years.

  6. I will watch to the end anyway.

I cannot see past Leader at this point but it can all turn so quickly.

    D :)

It was a mauling of the 2nd maist Successful in Scotland over the last decade.

I cannae wait to witness the Hoops next Sunday.

  8. One last thing before I retire …

Hopefully 7 games to go for another very memorable season, obviously only league cup won so far but who knows what the final few weeks might bring ….

To continually moan about last season and not getting the “10” plays into the narrative the media would have you believe…. the Huns cheated and liquidated then their titles should not count … so the more some Tim’s moan about not getting the 10 just justifies Rangers existence … but just remember if we had just kept winning every trophy on the go …. Then we wouldn’t have Ange …. Celtic should always make your life and mood better … Celtic isn’t here to get us down

Roll on next Sunday …. Win or lose the thing is

by all accounts we won’t be stopping soon :-)

    Skybet special today was

    Rory to make top 5 …. 2/1

    a terrific investment

  10. GFTB – I never really bet on golf.

I am bad enough at football bets.

2/1 was a good price but he was 10 shots off pace I believe.

    D :)

  11. David66 11.08pm

Likewise … I like to lose over 90mins but the “Rory” special caught my eye today considering he was around 5th earlier today … but golf is a bit dodgy

I love the last day at all the majors, but the masters is always a bit special…. And it’s not just because of the Green Blazer/Jacket :-)

    CELTIC… 3

    (Dawson 9, Brooks 73, Wylie 82)

    CIVIL SERVICE STROLLERS…1

    (Duffy 27)

Celtic B secured a 3-1 victory in their Lowland League encounter against Civil Service Strollers with three impressively worked goals from Joey Dawson, Adam Brooks and Ben Wylie.

The B team almost got off to a flying start, when MacKenzie Carse’s shot from range flew over the crossbar in the first minute.

Celtic put themselves in the lead before the 10-minute mark. Karamoko Dembele slipped a great pass onto the on-rushing Joey Dawson who was through on goal, chipping the ball over the keeper.

Civil Service Strollers began to pile on some pressure, forcing Tobi Oluwayemi into some crucial saves, with the visitors also managing to rattle the crossbar.

The Strollers’ persistence was then rewarded in the 27th minute, equalising through their number six, Lewis Duffy, who headed in a cross from the left-side despite Celtic’s claims for offside.

Celtic looked to respond shortly after, with Dembele putting the ball in for Dawson again, but MacAllan Whyte came out to clear the danger away.

The game opened up at the start of the second half with both teams having opportunities to put themselves ahead.

The visitors almost took the lead in the 55th minute as a cross hit off Bosun Lawal and was saved well by Oluwayemi into the path of Faye whose shot cannoned off the post.

Substitution Adam Brooks went searching for his 15th goal of the season, forcing Whyte into a low save after being played in behind.

The next attacking play on the 75th minute was more successful for the Hoops. Owen Moffat ran into space with the ball played in for Brooks and he fired low across the keeper into the bottom right corner to become the top scorer for the team this season.

It was the bench Bhoys who made a real impact on the outcome of the match. Ben Wylie scored Celtic’s third goal of the evening with a curling shot into the top left corner in the 82nd minute.

The win puts the Celtic B team in a healthy position in the table ahead of Tuesday night’s Lowland League Glasgow derby at Celtic Park against Rangers B.

CELTIC: Oluwayemi, Corr, MacKenzie, Carse, Lawal, Summers, Vata, Dembele (Wylie), Kenny (Otoo), Dawson (Brooks), Moffat (Quinn).

SUBS: Otoo, Mullen, Wylie, Letsosa, Brooks, Deane, Quinn.

  13. Can I just check, are all the post split league fixtures on a Saturday? And how likely is “that” game to be the first? I get it will likely be early… But first?… Cheers

  14. Looking at the tv schedules already announced the only free times – which I presume money would demand is 3pm on Saturday – is that allowed? Or the 12 lunchtime on the Sunday, surely that’s more likely?

  15. Was just on the Celtic website there looking at tickets for the b team game on Tuesday and there’s the message:

“Supporters must have registered for a Celtic account on or prior to 13/03/2022 to purchase a match ticket. If you have not created a Celtic account prior to this date, you will be unable to purchase a ticket for this match.“

Why would it be you’d have to be registered a month prior, to be able to buy a ticket?

    Petulant Portuguese Prat

    ——-

What he did was wrong – he has apologised and will make it up to the lad.

He will feel so bad about this because he does an enormous amount of charity work and is extremely generous privately with both his time and money. He has helped, and is helping, lots of people and causes. You should find out about his philanthropy – he is a good guy.

I agree with you that he was foolish, and let himself down, but can’t agree that he is a Portuguese prat.
