Did some badly needed gardening yesterday and laid down tools to watch the big race and after that excitement then caught the result of the Celtic match. Always being a bit anxious of how these games go against the bottom of the league clubs in the past, was gobsmacked when I saw that 7-0 scoreline, had to look a second time. Wonderful.
Hoops players will keep a calm focus as the big prize looms closer and closer.
The bbc don’t have 2 farthings to rub together and their economy drive is bringing ever more junior members into their ranks. The resultant output is variable at best.

Yes indeed – BBC SCOTLAND is the epitome of parochialality in all it does.
SPORTSCENE, SPORTSOUND, news on THE SEVEN & THE NINE, all seemingly staffed by a bunch of amateurs grateful for the break. I won’t mention the political coverage, in case the Moderator is on duty – a promise is a promise. HH
I am one of those who have no respect for the likes of Walker. His family, I know, are Celtic supporters. I have seen him often in a Celtic strip. I have seen him often scoring in the Hoops. But, imo, like other ex-Celts such as Bonner and Provan, he does not even attempt to give a balanced account of a game involving Celtic. He knows what will pay his wages and what will see him without a job. Unfortunately, the media in Scotland believe there is more to be gained from anti-Celtic bias than any evenhandedness, and the likes of Walker kow-tow to that mindset.

Very interesting POTY this season. So many creditable candidates.
For me Joe Hart has been our most influential signing.
However I have to think of what player would be totally missed .
Currently I am leaning towards CCV.
No player is indispensable, but to replace CCV would be a very hard ask. A magnificent asset to our team, and I hope he becomes a permanent asset.
However all to play for with our remaining games. What a very difficult happy decision.
HH, the journey continues with pace.

POTY for me is Joe Hart. He has influenced and allowed a new, sometimes changing, back four, initially lacking in confidence and experience of playing with each other, to grow into a reliable and effective unit. He is integral to playing out and building from the back and, I believe commands real respect in the squad, on and off the field……plus at a stroke made our goalkeeping crisis disappear.
Now settling down for the Masters.

Not a bad way of looking at the topic but doing so would leave me with one obvious candidate. Callum McGregor

The criticism of Andy Walker is a “joke”. ”
I can assure you I am not joking when I am critical of a far from partial pundit. He knows where his bread is buttered and panders to his paymasters. I see Bonner in precisely the same light.

The commentary on the Helander – Brophy incident was risible. Brophy was in front of the Swede, who had an arm around his throat and wrestled him to the ground. Helander injured himself in the process, and Cheatin’ Beaton, right beside them, bizarrely awarded a foul to The Old Firm.
Walker supported the decision, which was utterly ludicrous.

Sevco supporters working in the media don’t need to be unbiased and impartial. This is Scotland.
Celtic supporters working in the media have to be very careful in what they say and write. They do not want to lose their jobs but more importantly, they don’t want bullets or bombs in the post.
We live in a unique country. A country dominated, contaminated and corrupted by a football club. Not just scottish football but all the major institutions. The judiciary, the media, politics, the financial institutions. You criticise sevco at your peril.
