Klopp was complaining about Foden not being yellow carded for finding the net after referee blew for offside.

You were spot on. Celtic v Old Firm 24th April

    —–

Suppose it happens – even a broken watch is right twice a day😁HH

  3. Calmac , for POTY for me.

Man City are some team, should be out of sight in this game

  4. Man City with the better of first half, but when Liverpool break, they are full of menace and can be lethal. Got a sneaking feeling they will pinch this, but will be glad to be wrong.

  5. Not tempting providence, or, even The Provident – but Braga & Celtic can kill the “Old Firms” season in only ten days. If so, their only good memories of the 21/22 season could be recorded as 22BC.

  6. MM – That’s good about the young team.

It will be good for their development playing older more physical players.

Just have to watch for some it can ge a step to far to quick.

Didn’t do us any harm playing 15 aside with all ages and a 10 – 21er

    D :)

Reading back. I see someone labelling Jullien as “unwilling”. I assume that means “refusing to play”.

Does anyone here think Celtic as a club and Postecoglou as a manager would accept any player refusing to play and still be employed?

And we can’t understand why young players take up offers from the EPL and abroad.

    City v Liverpool.

    I have an each-way bet on 3-2 @ 28/1.

Just waiting for one more goal in this game.

  9. Well if you can’t tell the truth when you see blatant cheating ,to me that’s taking the 30 Pieces of Silver and selling your soul to the Devil .Hopefully in the near future Celtic can own the T V Rights on showing games to Celtic Supporters all over the Globe ,Sky is a joke only interested in the Premier League.

  10. I see some posters listing SPL fixtures after the break.

Question, are they based on knowledge, and fact?

Or are we talkin Fantasy fitba?

  11. Andy Walkers family are Celtic fans. They also don’t like him. (From a Celtic point of view.. as a brother and uncle he’s ok)

“Reading back. I see someone labelling Jullien as “unwilling”. I assume that means “refusing to play”—————————————-

If that refers to my post the quoted word in brackets was not used. Here is what I said:-

“Without a fit and willing Jullien we would struggle without CCV.”

I yolked together those two conditions, fit AND willing, for clear reasons. There have been instances of players returning to fitness but being wary or unwilling of returning to matches for fear of either triggering another spell out, feeling rushed back, or (poor cynical me) because they are planning on leaving at the end of the season and don’t want to risk the move going through.

In the modern era, Ange can do nothing to the player who cites still being injured or not confident he is fit as a reason to not play. All Ange can do is drop unwilling players from the squad. He did it with Ben Doak, after giving him encouragement to stay. He has done the same to Karaoke Dembele recently too, as he too has been unwilling to sign offered contracts. AND……. you will notice that Jullien too was in the squad but now is not. It could be that it is just an injury breaking down again but it would be naive to think that was the only possibility.

As for comments like mine, twisted or untwisted, would drive players away- please spare me. Jullien will go if he feels it is in his interest to go. He will not be citing comments in social media any more than Boerigter did. Players have to be resilient enough to cope with booing and insults directed at them to their face.

James Forrest and Mikey Johnston have had far far worse said about them on these pages. I would like Jullien to become fit and willing to play but, if he is not, my main point stands- we are short of serious cover at CB.
