    BOBBY MURDOCH’S CURLED-UP WINKLEPICKERS,

Your post @02.39 was not a reply to anything on CQN, it introduced a new agenda.

Obviously an agenda you wished to pursue, otherwise why raise it?

I have no interest in your agenda, unless it’s about Celtic.

    Maybe 11?

    3 WGS titles.

3 titles we gave to the dead club to try to save them, unsuccessfuly.

    3 Lenny titles.

    1 RD title.

Yip. Should be going for the 11 instead of the 5.

Ah well such is life. Our own fault anyway.

No point crying over spilt milk.

  3. In the spirit if openness I have continually asked for any folk who are unhappy with celtics performance under PL stewardship.

This ran from from inheriting over bloated cost structure which had failed in 8!of previous 9 years to reach the champions league group stages. To now where in his 11 years we have reached knock out stages of CL 3 times and groups 6 times in that time with a cost structure which aligns to our increased revenue and which keeps our club sustainable.

This has been done in a backdrop of a macro dynamic working hugely against clubs from smaller countries across Europe. From a tv base of just £5m. Can some one please outline their workable strategy which can deliver better ? In the spirit of open debate I would love to see this grand plan ?

My own issated concern with our leadership is the lack of movement toward changing our playing environment from £5m to a market of £100m which could be had by a pan Scandinavia, Celtic (with a K) , and Benelux league. This would be able to compete with the bigger leagues. Malmo or Anderlecht or Ajax or Copenhagen every few weeks would make it a more interesting diet also. But we see such things as Frankenstein’s monster and seem to jack ambition. That aside I struggle to see much wrong with how we are being run week to week and month to month at Celtic. I would live to know what folk would do differently without the kind of risk and largesse which derailed our former rivals.

Instead of any constructive suggestions I only see bitter abd often contradictory criticism.

Disappointed at some of the stuff directed at you last night, btw. But frankly not surprised. All we can do is keep sniping.

And try to persuade some people that fortitude disnae mean saying-is that the best you can do-as they take turns to boot you in the baws. While arranging for RESOLUTION 12 to be neatly sidelined.

Off topic – See the Holy Father is obliged to visit the cathedral of Saint Patrick during his visit to NYC, and rightly so.

Chance would be a fine thing it his Holiness is brave enough to speak out against the abomination directly across the street. Rockerfella, Temple of evil.

Also, if and when he crosses the Brooklyn Bridge on the way to Manhattan – maybe stop, and pray for a wee minute for all the poor souls whom died during the construction of said bridge.

Then “Freedom Tower” – another Zionist/Masonic shrine. Pray for the innocent people who were sacrificed Francis.

The GB banner was an absolute disgrace and embarrassment.

Have these wee pricks never heard the saying “Never air your dirty washing in public?

    ____________________________________________________________________________________

The only problem that I see with the banner was the – “Clueless in the boardroom.” – bit.

I mean, the board are certainly not cluless, not with the ease with which they can fool a lot of the folk on here and elswhere into, parting with £millions every year.

Auldheid we are building a reserve and still selling all our best players. Maybe we should cut our losses and support Barclays and the like.

Res 12 is dead. The club have participated in corruption. They have repeatedly shafted the Celtic support

Roycroppy …. Who are you, Hugh Keevins in disguise.

    Give it a rest.

Ronny has always done the Ronny roar. A sign of positivity between manager and fans after victory We should stop on what basis? That Hugh Keevins says so.?

I didn’t hear what Hugh Keevins said but, I think he’s correct.

Slink up the tunnle after being defeated by Malmo then,

fist pump the fans after defeating StJ?

    Cheap tricks

    Cheap Manager

    Employed by a cheap board.

Any fan who celebrates the Ronny Roar is feeding the myth.

A club that once housed Roaring Lions on the pitch and, in the dug-out, as well as on the terraces, now has a Royal mile type of an approach to the stadium much in-keeping with the type of snobs who now ocupy the half full stadium.

Brother Walfrid and the poor children with the begging bowls, would now probably be turned away at the door.

    So sad.

Someone said earlier that Celtic was dead.

You know what, they probaly died when the last rebel left the club in 2005 to care for his sick wife.

If only that was true eh.

So long as the Celtic support remain locked outside their club watching on as, their kowtowing hierarchy curry favor with the hun loving Scottish footballing establishment – this was not better demonstrated than when, Celtic’s hierarchy looked the other way when Rangers were winning League’s on the back of honest mistakes and, when they failed to react to the LNS verdict also, as has been pointed out on here recently, when they again, looked the other way when Rangers/Sevco were given a licence to start again without having to pay for any of their deceitful tax avoidance.

Yeah, all of the above means that you will be mastered by Orange bast#rds, espaecially the ones on the board.

Anyway having watched the team my wee da brought me up to support go top of the league, am now off to watch wee shades play in his teams big Derby match. It’s Strathaven v Stonehouse.

  22. So…we are selling our best player for 10/11 million….and replacing him with a loan signing.

So how the feck can you charge top dollar for that.

That GB banner was spot on.

Brisbane 67, they had a banner that said gutless in Malmö, clueless in boardroom. Probably concepts that were on most supporters minds. The only argument is whether the support should be raising these things in public or go on silently accepting them.

  30. Some of the comments on here since the Malmo defeat are simply embarrassing.

Maudlin, self-pitying, playing the victim nonsense. We played badly, lost a football match, and didn’t qualify for the CL. For that, some people appear are bursting into tears and accusing big bad Peter of ruining their lives.

    Get a grip.

We are a well run club. We have failed in a specific objective and that must be analysed and improvement sought. But wholesale revolution is insane. It’s like voting for Jeremy Corbyn because you didn’t like Tony Blair. Might make you feel purer, but will achieve nothing.

There is a real strain of selfish, self-obsessed fans at CP now. For them, defeats are a personal insult, like someone is picking on them. For the rest of us, defeats happen in football and life isn’t always fair. As Mick said, you can’t always get what you want….

Fans need to man up. By all means question the board, let them know you want better. But this pitiful woe-is-me stuff is cringeworthy.

    Sorry for the rant…

  31. You can ignore our woeful attempt at the CL, and pretend it didn’t happen….carry on.

But….I will be here to remind the fat cats….what Celtic are really about.

I don’t give a flying feck how much money you have got.

Elite supporters eh….dodgy handshakes and secrets….well, you can feck off with your secrets, go watch the huns, they love handshakes and secrets.

I see no problem with telling it like it is.

    HH

  33. As we sell VIrgil and replace him with a loanee there is no prep for Next seasons CL.

This transfer window defines our chances for next seasons qualification assuming we win the title.

Lawwell will effectively have weakened the team again to a level it wouldn’t get by a Qarabag.

As predicted at last summers transfer window Lawwell would cost us this seasons CL qualification. Based on this transfer window I can confidently predict no CL qualification next season either. That will bring Lawwells failure to £80M over 2 years. Whilst presiding over this failure he will take circa £3M out of the club.

Lawwell has been in the role to long. He mismanagement of the football budget is grotesque. Malmo budget was 25% of Celtics in total , yet had a team that put us to shame in the 2nd leg.

Lawwell is waiting for Sevco next season as his saving grace. The CEO who aided and abetted the 5 way agreement will see light at the end of the tunnel.

The gap with Sevco will disappear as I predicted also ; instead of being miles out of sight it will be back to square one.

Lawwell has taken the biggest advantage given to any Celtic CEO in the history of the club and screwed it up on an industrial scale. Parity will be restored next season due to his mismanagement.

In a way it’s too late now , the opportunity we had in the 4 seasons without the Ibrox club has been squandered by Lawwell who has milked Celtic dry at the same time. In a way it’s Lawwells saving grace.

  34. Italiabhoy

Yeah…its the fans fault that Celtic were gash in the CL.

Yeah…we all need to man up.

    Its our fault….sorry.

Nothing to do with Peter Lawell eh…..move along nothing to see here.

    Yeah….blame the supporters
