  1. Back to Basics - Glass Half Full on

    Sionnaigh @ 5:51 am.

    Astounding.

Got to be some money sloshing around surely to fund PhD research to scientifically confirm the link between emotional staunchness and physical, cerebral stupidity?

  2. Good Morning BRRB

Look forward to meeting up again on Saturday! A fairly dull, overcast morning on the millpond-like silvery Tay.

Sionnaigh…yep, the old ‘bananas thrown at Mark Walters’ tale about to be brought up again.

Racism is in the hun DNA sadly. Fortunately, these days there are plenty hundividuals who are ashamed of the morons within their support, however, it is beyond time they called them out more vociferously. Effin scum…

  4. If Ross Wilson has been given the task of generating millions for the huns in transfer outgoings, his job is certainly not being made any easier by Slippy.

Eight Figures reckons 5 million for a player with (counts fingers) 3 League starts in his career is a joke. Any interested party is currently running for the hills.

  5. BACK TO BASICS @ 8:48 AM

I apologise. I mean, there’s a lot going on in the world at present that deserves…… ffs once you’ve seen that footage, it’s too late, you can’t take it back.

Power deserves a career ending injury because he has tried to really hurt a few players now and not just in Celtic teams.

A despicable player – St Mirren knew what they were signing in him, shame on them but this is the SPFL – no Fitba players protected. You know it is bad when Collum issues a straight red card. If David’s leg was planted he’s out of the game for the Season.

Just scrolling back for a read.

This deserves to be reposted, agree 1000%

An absolute disgrace to his profession. A complete animal who has been for several years looking likely to prematurely end someone’s career.

His outrage at the red card was because he generally gets away with it every week.

    He should be ‘sine died’.

  7. A bit puzzled by the majority of media reports on the Racist scums latest foray. We all saw the video, they wanted us see the video. It was on their bus, going or coming from a Rangers game,no arguement on that. How then is the offence being labeled as”Alleged”.This term only used when guilt has yet to be proved.

  8. Welcome to Celtic, Dominic McKay, all we have wanted is for our Board to speak up for us,and defend us when required

Agree …His outrage at the red card was because he generally gets away with it every week.

As well as a very poor tackle, I reckon it was a calculated bad decision by him, along these lines:

‘I’ll leave a heavy bit on one of them early doors and – as my first – I may get a finger wag or a yellow…’

His shock at getting the red was only matched by our shock watching wee Gollum refereeing by the book.

Just watched the Power tackle on Turnbull again. If they really want to rid Scottish football of hammerthrowers then they have to stop humming and hawing. It’s a dangerous tackle and is a red card, full stop! Any other debate about in between yellow and red (orange) is just encouraging more of the same.

Well done, wee Willie Collum…(can’t believe I just said that).

  11. Weebobbycollins on

And Scottish referees are shockingly bad. Apart from any perceived bias, they are woefully incompetent professionals. Madden, Munro and Muir…murder!

again, with the irony being, these people want their opinion heard, in the most disgraceful slanderous ways, but want neil lennon to “shut up “.

serious question, you ever been at a match and heard someone call Neil Lennon a “soup taker” ?

Hartson got called it on here sometime ago.

I watched him yesterday, all through the halftime yatter, when the cans came off he came over to a group waiting , he had a selfie with everyone of them, and several others who joined the impromtu que, reminded me of a disney visit, must have been there 5 minutes at least. he then had the same perfromance trying to walk up the main stand, still there another 5 minutes later.

    ……………..

I watched Big Bad John on Saturday too. I sit in the Main Stand and the big guy was excellent with the fans. I would say he took about 10 minutes with fans posing for selfies. Every time he was about to finish, others would arrive and it didn’t phase him at all. BBJ’s an excellent ambassador for the Club. I can’t even remember why he blew a gasket the other week and went a Wee bit over the top with criticism but we’ve all been guilty of that. It’s the likes of Charlie Nicholas I can’t stand.

I think it wouldn’t be a bad idea if Tavernier did a Scott Brown repeat and approached Kyogo before kickoff and showed some solidarity with him. I don’t know why but I think he would be told not to. It goes against the hun grain…

The term ‘soup taker’ has to pretty much be devoid of all meaning if it could be applied to someone like BBJ given that until he signed he had no prior connection to Celtic.

The supporters bus on which the disgraceful racist singing and chanting took place was from the Crown Bar in Bellshill, the local drinking den regularly patronised by one John Beaton, the celebrated Lanarkshire football referee.

  16. Eyal Berkovic said of the infamous training ground incident “If my head had been a ball, it would have been in the top corner of the net”.

Big John, big John big bad John CSC
