Regarding Neil Lennons team of last year. I can appreciate all of the factors that converged and led to our catastrophic demise. James Forrest out for so long has to be one of the biggest.
But.
I cannot accept the level of fitness (or absence thereof) that our players exhibited compared to that left by Rogers and now being raised up by Ange (I would address him by his surname but can’t spell it).
Whilst I lay the blame for that at Lennon, there is also fault from the fitness coaches / sports scientists AND the individual players.
Other teams didn’t seem to regress as much as us.
You could even say that one caffeine-laced team excelled in that department.
Thought Starfelt did pretty well yesterday in that he didn’t make any notable mistakes. He and Welsh dealt with Main rather well for the most part.
Is it time to lock the gates till the 90mins is up?
The grounds half empty 10minutes to go.
When we’re winning and always likely to score.
It doesnt look good or appreciative of the effort from the team.

I don`t know re the second sentence but wholeheartedly agree with the other two. Your post, for me , is what SUPPORTING a team is all about. As I have said many a time, criticism is fine but CONSTANT criticism spreads and is not good for OUR team.Also, of course, we have a MSSM which is very happy to point out all and any failings in our team…..real or imaginary.

Neil Lennon. What to say?
A good lad at heart but wants to get back into work?
So needs to keep in the public eye.
And needs to convince prospective employers he has something to offer.
Hence his “take” on last year’s failure.
A find it quite sad when these things happen.
But, I suppose, a plate full of loyalty and a sackful of admiration are wonderful … but not much use at the checkout with a trolley full of shopping to be paid for.

Why do people leave early ?
All around me its the same old timers that shuffle off with 10 minutes to go, simply because they have to park a fair old distance from the ground,
I was in the forge car park, got to the car at 5pm, took 50 minutes to get from there, down the gallowgate across saltmarket and parked behing st enochs. Been a while since I went in that direction after the game but I was suprised at the shear volume of people on the roads.

Because there really isn’t any. In times past the lights were set to green along major roads to get traffic away from CP. Now apart from a few motor cycles nothing done.

Power could have went for the ball,but chose not to,red card all day long, they were shocked at the decision, as they thought they were getting the usual one for nothing. Sportscene always debates any red card given against Celtic, the BBC is a rancid organisation.

Btw theres a young team, a right bunch o fannies behind us who come in after kick off, cackle away like a bunch of fannies, no interest in the game then fek off 10 AFTER half time

I aint dissin the old team in anyway, people leave cos they have either a long walk back to the car or if stay to the end have the prospect of sitting in traffic for an hour after the game.
seems to me also, there are leass supporters busses in the big parking areas, maybe people dont want to be on a bus with no ventilation.

If Lennon thinks last season’s failures were down to Covid and no crowds it’s strange why he left near the end of the season, rather than staying on and getting back to winning ways in normal conditions this season…..

Ernie- I have no hatred for Neil Lennon, nobody has had to suffer more to have worn our colours, without going over old ground IMO he should have resigned at a point last season, when the league was still a possibility, of course he’s entitled to his opinion, but some of the stuff he’s coming out with now is utter nonsense .HH
