Power deserves a career ending injury because he has tried to really hurt a few players now and not just in Celtic teams.
A despicable player – St Mirren knew what they were signing in him, shame on them but this is the SPFL – no Fitba players protected. You know it is bad when Collum issues a straight red card. If David’s leg was planted he’s out of the game for the Season.

I couldn’t agree more. A thug, pure and simple. If Scotland hopes to develop young players properly, they must crack down on such “tackles”. I would also expect our manager have a word with Soro and Christie, whose tackles weren’t as bad as Power’s but were still reckless, imo.

STV news report that Rangers are investigating the video – just like COVID, they announce that they are investigating- it’s a criminal offence – they have nothing to do with it.
The news should have said ‘Police Scotland are investigating…’
Literally no laws of the land or rules of football for them.

Wee bit harsh, I’ve been on CQN since Black Sunday but have never met anyone from the blog,
I don’t consider myself to be a lesser poster just because I haven’t met up with other CQNers,

Handling the ball
For the purposes of determining handball offences, the upper boundary of the arm is in line with the bottom of the armpit. Not every touch of a player’s hand/arm with the ball is an offence.
It is an offence if a player:
• deliberately touches the ball with their hand/arm, for example moving the hand/arm towards the ball
• touches the ball with their hand/arm when it has made their body unnaturally bigger. A player is considered to have made their body unnaturally bigger when the position of their hand/arm is not a consequence of, or justifiable by, the player’s body movement for that specific situation. By having their hand/arm in such a position, the player takes a risk of their hand/arm being hit by the ball and being penalised

Not every contact with the hand/arm and the ball is a handball offence. Referees must judge the ‘validity’ of the hand/arm’s position to what the player is doing in that particular situation.
We sit in 401 but it is always good to see things from all over the Holy Ground.

as a ps, its not a lesser thing, that is not what i meant, what i do mean is those who want to meet up could and did for events and at the match and at the corner and it became more than just a blog.
in your town, where ever it is , was it dublin somewhere, if someone said mon along for a pint, a round of golf, a racing event, to watch a game, you might do it, or politely decline,
sure its all personal choice, i doubt you would read anything else into it.
I await some others appearing now using the words “sanctimoneous” and/or “obsessed”.

Likewise . It’s possible I may know some posters on here , but if so , I am unaware of it . I get the sense through their posts that I would get on well with most but not all of them.
I also know several fellow Celts who are not CQN r’s , which is not surprising given that CQNr’s make up a very small percentage of the Celtic support .
