St Mirren were a disgrace today , Jim Godwin is a good Tim with a footballing mentality but if he he wants to set his team up with hammer throwers like Alan Power he will find his team relegated akin to Mr Powers last team. St Miirren must have committed as many fouls against Celtic today as they did in the 5 games against the super duper all conquering Huns last season.

Quadro, either of those places still open? Asking for a TLT.
Writing in the Herald’s Celtic Way section Tony Haggerty, who presumably was at the game, had this to say about Greg Taylor’s performance against St Mirren:
“Greg Taylor: The full-back has copped some flak recently but his pinpoint delivery was right on the money and he hung the ball up superbly for Abada to head home the second goal on 22 minutes. The Scotland defender galloped forward at will and offered a decent outlet down the flank for his teammates and was a standout, especially in the opening period. 8”
Notably, 8 was the highest performance score he awarded to any player including DT and LA.
Sure Greg makes mistakes and sometimes his final ball doesn’t come off, but that’s true for most players at times. Remember, (i) in the minds of the fans he wasn’t KT and that got him off to a bad start with the fans, but KT wasn’t always the KT that became good enough to play for Arsenal, (ii) he’s didn’t have to perform his present role at Kilmarnock, (iii) last season was a write off for almost anyone in terms of development.
I believe he’s showing signs of improvement and has what it takes. He’ll be around for a while yet either challenging or holding the LB berth. He should be encouraged by the fans, let him know he’s appreciated then see what happens.
Got to laugh at some of the overly-sensitive Lennon apologists on here, one in particular got his kecks in a twist with ONIL earlier, claiming they were only expressing their ‘honest opinion’, yet when St Tams dares to do the same, he gets called a rodent!
Seems opinions should only be shared if pre-approved by our resident tiresome DJ…
And as for the BBC interview with Lennon earlier? Some suggest it was ‘lenny’ at his disarming best, while others might query why he has convinced himself that his ineptitude last season was everyone else’s fault except his. And nobody at the BBC had the balls to point this out…
Superb stuff again from the Bhoys, 6 going on double figures, a red all day long, very surprised the wee scrotum gave it, about the only thing he got right, turncoats are way worse IMO.
AT from earlier, aye you hit the nail on the head, and another turncoat with the GG and to think that I used to have time for him.
Big Jimmy, nice one on the bet, had 7/0 masel and that turd only added on 1 efin minute, and yip, she can sing alright.
………………..
Cheers mate and to DAVID66 also.
Its not often that I back a winner at 50/1 never mind doing it Twice !
As for Cheryl Barnes..yes she is great…and I also remember and liked the Dance version by ” N-Trance” to the same song ” Set you Free”.
I was a bit too old for ” House” Music etc…but I enjoyed some of it…and ” N- Trance” singing the original ( I think ?) l is also great.
Although I was obviously very happy for the score line to remain at 6-0 to Celtic cos of my bets……It was STILL shocking to see Collum and his assistant only adding ONE Minute of injury time, considering the subs that were used and injuries.

Good Morning all. Fair enjoyed the match yesterday, although I am concerned about the refereeing – there were many bad fouls going unpunished. We need to call this out loudly and frequently before someone gets badly injured – again. Kyogo particularly was being targetted throughout the match, and it was no surprise to see Ange substitute him. Great to see many familiar faces again back at our spiritual home.

Any support I have for Lenny the Human being is diminishing every time he opens his Gub. Neil you are fooling no Celtic fan you were a shambles last year. You as a leader were pathetic.

The Power tackle, even from a view from the other side of the park, it looked dangerous. Viewing again on telly last night couldn’t understand why there was a debate on it. BBC have developed a new adjective phrase ‘yellow card plus’ !!
However what was more noticeable was Power’s reaction, gets up shows no remorse and only reacts when see’s the colour of the card. Seems more than happy to inflict pain on a fellow professional.
Neil Lennon saying the pandemic and no fans allowed in the stadium which he says affected the players,no it was you who threw the players under the bus ,also your tactics and selections didn’t help either,he was lucky there wasn’t any supporters in the ground ,him and Lawell would have been removed
I remember some years back before he embarrassed even FIFA into banning him for corruption, one of his madcap ideas was to introduce a card that would fit in between the yellow card and the red card, an idea that seemed to gain some support from Michael Stewart on Sportscene last night vis a vis Power’s attempted ankle breaking assault on Turnbull. Needless to say, as any primary school art student will tell you that would be the orange card. Even more needless to say, but needless to say, I’ll say it anyway, the reaction in Scotland, well from some of us, was that our referees have been playing that card
from time immemorial every time Celtic turned up on the pitch.

GARNGAD TO CROY,
I agree. So many off the ball incidents yesterday because our whole team is moving, it was the same last Sunday but not as quite as bad.
Collum getting in the way of Passes is obviously a ftSFA tactic…. he was doing it to keep the score down.
