Some of the posters on here seem to hate Neil Lennon more than the huns.

    Mmmm.

    =======================

Agreed Ernie.touch irrational if you ask me.

Nnnnn would be more apt.for nashin of teeth!

Neil is part of Celtic history.

  2. Neil was a fantastic servant for Celtic.

As a club we were terrible last season. From top to bottom.

Neil’s interviews do not add anything for me. However, He’s free to speak as he wishes. I don’t necessarily agree with his views on last season, though that’s the beauty of democracy

  3. The video of an Orange band walking down a narrow street and another walking up the street is comedy gold.

And of course they end up fighting each other. Superb.

    Absoloute thick inbred feckwits.

    Looooooove it

it had me chuckling as well.

all that crimpolene friction buiild up, could have had a nasty shock.

the upcoming big walk in september, i hope the rain is biblical.

  5. as a wee aside,

something that impressess me some, Big Hart goes through a lot of little exercises throughout the game, stretching, jumps, running on the spot, then his covering of the ground quickly to receive a pass, he is part of the no standing still philosophy.

and a big voice, i sit at the corenr flag and heard him barking instructions throughout.

SS – Its like a comedy sketch.

    D :)

did you ever see the one, where the big fat lambeg drummer is mimicked by the bands leader on an invisible drum and his own fat belly, that one is hilarious.

    i am away to find.

  7. SS- Joe Hart has brought a different level of professionalism, and much needed leadership to the Club.

  8. Neil should just simply put a sock in it …. Popping up every so often …. Undermining Eddy and the manager hours before a game is rubbish …

Neil must be stretching his confidentiality clause to breaking point , I’m expecting more than thoughts from Neil next re our away game …. Tiresome

Young Abada is the real deal ….

Good afternoon all from Shawlands. Looking forward to Saturday and meeting up with the boys of the old brigade. AKA Mick Gillen. 😂

    Hope all good down under

    ————————————-

Sad tidings, An Tearmann: So many sweet memories of Lev 8; seeing The Jam; bevvied; psychobilly dancing; winching; cheap Guinness and snakebites; getting ‘arrested’ by fake cops; soul groovin ‘…

Meanwhile in Australia, all relatively good wi the sniff of Spring today. Got the front eaves and sills all painted.

    ——————-

Continuing my role as Prezi of the Ralston Fan Club, I did not ken the kid had such a nice range in defence splitting passes – surely, we can agree we’re well served in that posi now. And Greg T had another good show too.

  11. I don’t have any issue with Lenny doing his interviews. He was a fantastic servant to Celtic. Last season was a nightmare, primarily due to external circumstances, and Neil just didn’t have the leadership skills or coaching skills to manage our way through it. Other clubs coped better. I hope he lands a new club and goes on to find more success.

  12. Joe Hart is a good ‘un.

He spent quite a while after the final whistle chatting with the St Mirren keeper on the centre line. Their keeper seemed to appreciate whatever Hart had been saying, and also appreciated the gesture from Ange as he left the pitch.

Small things like that are important. The ethos of our club are in good hands.

  13. Mincelt – In its meantime he should keep his trap shut.

He was every bit a part of the problem with stupid decisions.

    D :)

  14. Joe Hart keeping himself ready for action during long periods of inaction is absolutely what a Celtic keeper needs to do.

I would also say, that is one of the reasons behind the turnaround in Anthony Ralston.

In previous incarnations he would see action on his side of the park sporadically, possibly a pass back or two from Forrest then a pass across the back line for it not reappear for a while. I noted and commented at the time, that once he passed it inside he would drop his head and slowly make his way back to his position.

Now he never stops; pass then move. Often to the inside channel (as does Taylor on the other side) looking for the ball and creating space for others. The fact he is continually involved in the game keeps him switched.

  15. BRRB,

    Enjoy the pub.

    Suppersutton,

I’m loving everything I see and hear about Joe Hart. An absolute star in his performances, leadership and behaviour since joining.

I hope he has a long and successful career with us

THE BLOGGER FORMERLY KNOWN AS GM on 22ND AUGUST 2021 1:42 PM

LOL – did you know they also play banjos in their spare time?

As ALEX RAE would say that comment will go right over some peoples EARS.

  17. Saint Stivs (?) unhappy that individuals not using their real names on a blog….

Mr Stivs (I assume that’s your surname?) uncomfortable that those same individuals wish to express their opinion of someone else’s ‘opinion’….

    Double irony bypass, nurse!

  18. I agree with those who say that Neil has the right to free-speech as does everyone – there is of course a bunch on here who’d shutdown anyone that disagrees with them; probably every blog has them…there are two other powerful groups in Scotland who have similar traits and have the ‘clout’ to enforce them….no prizes for guessing!!!

Neil has much too be proud of in his time at Celtic – personally I think that the interim appointment, after Brendan left, should have been only till the end of that season. However that is all history – I wish him good luck – his place in the Celtic Hall of Fame is well-assured.

Demanded to know where my seat was at Celtic park……

  20. The “Battle of the Bawnds…”

could only have been improved ….

if the bowler hatred lodge members had joined in, drawn swords and thrown Bibles at each other.

  21. Tam your duality is boundless.

Pre Ange you were definitive about his 100% ownership of last season

You got that glints double sided daveking speak about you.

  22. I wish Neil all the best but he should refrain from throwing everyone under the bus.

His decisions were absolutely shocking and he showed no leadership qualities at all but yet its everyone’s fault.

Of course he realises that sleekit digs at Celtic will get him a decent TV gig.

    D :)

  23. My spell check changed bowler hatted to ‘bowler hatred’

    Spell check knows….

    Love it
