GERRYFTB-Lenny has more than made his money, don’t get confused by anything else

  2. Canamalar – from earlier,

Highland Paddy in Los Gigantes has no affiliation with either Ireland, Scotland or Celtic!

It’s owned by a Spaniard and he lets the staff (mainly English) cater for the English football supporters!

However, if you have a quiet word with the wee bonde manageress called Kelly, she will do her best to put the Celtic game on one of the TVs.

She has even at times put it on in the restaurant upstairs for me!

Hope you are enjoying your holidays as it’s a beautiful part of Tenerife.

    Hail! Hail!

Get through that round and all. If we are not at a last 16 level in the CL, and that will depend on both us being stronger than we are at this minute, not easy I know, and the draw if we qualify for it. Lot of variables there I know, but we need to set objectives for ourselves. And objective about it.

    Hail Hail

  4. Fairhill Bhoy in the year 2000 Neil Lennon turned down money to get to Celtic … mate that is factual

  5. Does it matter that Kenny D is a Rangers supporter. Did not matter to him to play for us.

GERRYFTB-yip don’t disagree, but his lifespan at Leicester wouldn’t have lasted as long

    Tontine Tim

Do you remember the Referee who was a self confessed Celtic fan (hard to believe i know) he ref’d a testimonial or Charity match. I think it was one of the Junior Teams (Perthshire Peterhill Maryhill maybe) against a Celtic select which from memory Chic Charnley played in, and he awarded Celtic a penalty, the ref then took the penalty himself and scored.

Think it cost him his job.

GERRYFTB-again I agree, but ffs that’s like going for the captain of Sheffield united

  10. fairhill bhoy on

We have been good for Lennie, his other managerial positions have not been so good.

    He’s not the messiah 😉

Maybe to Celtic fans like yourself Leicester / Sheffield United analogy might sound ok … my point was Neil left the premiership, captain of a premiership club to join his boyhood heroes for less money than he was on … probably Martin O’Neill had an influence.., but I think your “ffs it’s like going for the captain of Sheff Utd” is pretty poor … try and answer the point without deviating … Neil Lennon left a premiership team (actually invoking a contract issue) because he wanted to play for Celtic …. stick to the facts mate I know it’s hard sometimes but goodness knows why Sheff Utd got mentioned … don’t think they were in the premiership in the year 2000… but I suppose why should that matter

  12. KD was the outstanding British player of his generation. I think he was 25 when he joined Liverpool – very much the finished article. Unlike Nicholas who remains the unfinished article. As Billy McNeil said, ‘Kenny is exceptional. He has never put a foot wrong on or off the park.’

Mind you, Kenny’s spell as a ‘general manager’ or whatever it was, is best forgotten. The brief spell of professionalism Celtic had enjoyed under McCann came to a shuddering halt with MacDonald.

He was starstruck about Kenny and gave him a well paid job just to hang about Celtic Park. In turn, Kenny appointed a mate who appointed other mates. ICT’s away cup win was the ultimate reality check.

Gerrybhoy-it’s a brilliant blog ,but now and again you get absolute arsleholes think they can take a wee bit time of and then come back to a fan fare🎉

    Arse hole

  14. King Kenny may have been born into a hun household but he achieved Timdom in the time-honoured fashion by donning The Hoops and scoring for fun in his adopted spiritual home.

Anyone can find salvation in Paradise, they just need to step up and join the fold. Kenny did just that.

The fact that he found himself at Anfield grieved this young Tim tremendously but it’s natural that Kenny has an affection for Liverpool as well. Just think of the traumatic times he has witnessed with them.

While the huns would love to alienate Kenny from us – they will fail.

    Their motivation is bitterness.

    HHH.

  15. Fellow Celts

    I can only apologise …

Not sure why the animosity.., Neil Lennon loves Celtic and I am glad he is with us both player & manager

    That’s all folks :-)

Enjoy Celtic … there are a million more things in the world to be annoyed about

  16. Lads, lay off the swearies , eh, please!

There are other sites more suited to that.

More profanity on here than Bob Geldof’s RTE interview this morning or on Toffeeweb this afternoon. (Understandable for the latter).

CQN becoming like a rowdy virtual pub with no beer.
