I’m a fan of Young Fisher, I was disappointed when he got sent out on loan. There’s something about him in the tackle as an ex fullback I like. If he makes under Brendan we could have two tough tackling, forward raiding fullbacks:))
Ajer I think could be the answer in front of the defence, I noticed today he’s no slouch either:))

I posted before the game about the conundrum of playing our Wednesday team and risking injury. Erik gets a sore one in the face. Damn.
Now another conundrum.
We have too many very good midfielders. Most showed it today. We can’t play all of them and we can’t keep them all. But who to ditch.
Bitton, Johansen and Commons can go.
Brown is, sorry to say, not good enough to keep his place in the team but I can understand why we would keep him.
But I can’t offer any preference on who are certain starters every game.
McGregor the closest.
Rogic, Armstrong, Henderson, Christie, Allen, Ajer all offer something different from each other.
Wide players we have fewer of. Roberts a certain starter.
Forrest & GMS inconclusive.
Full backs are well covered. Tierney certain starter. Fisher looks best of the right backs but Janko is close and a good stand in for Tierney if required. Lustig is next in line.
Centre backs. Surprisingly after today, I am ok with what we have. Erik is first choice. O’Connell, Ajer and Efe are capable and able partners. Yes, even Efe.
Up front. Griff and Dembele look more than able. Ciftci put in a really good shift today. But we need another quality striker.
Goalies are well covered.

Kill Ultra – I’ve been following your chat with Canamalar because I’m interested in how somebody not involved seemingly has such detailed inside info.
However why on earth are you even mentioning Resolution 12 of the 2014? Are you deliberately obfuscating? It’s utterly irrelevant to the campaign of Canamalar et al.
———————-
Weeminger. Not involved? I’m involved to the extent that when I signed the resolution, and persuaded a woman friend of mine from London to sign also, we did so in the hope that we could get the plc to seek the truth. Instead, all we have had from it, and the requisitioners since, is a procession of lies, half-truths, and yes, obfuscation.
I had mentioned Resolution 12 in the context of Canamalar’s previous reply to me, when he said, “Res12 was adjourned, which is why it’s still live and the Plc are forced to make statements every year at the AGM’s about it.”
My comment, though was hurried and not very well put. It was prompted as I was going through Notices of Annual General Meetings from recent years and could find no sign of any such statements from the Plc.
Hope that’s a bit clearer.
Good win today. Well pleased!

Picked the wrang day to air my new bloody T-shirt wae a 12 on it.
At least in January I would have had a jumper with me:-)
Suppose the most important thing was getting a wee bit of confidence back after Tuesday’s debacle. Thought the pace we started at would flood the Imps so plenty of that on Wednesday, plus the number of times the ball was passed FORWARD from the back was very welcome. The second half ‘team’ would take most SPL teams so looking good there as well.
Apart from the obvious I personally thought Scott Allan looked a player (in his right position) and was pleasantly surprised with Cifti – hardly perfect but worked really hard and was a handful for the Wolfies.
Oh, and The Huddle, it’s all about opinions, but I thought big O’Connell, despite his weak passing/choices at times, did quite well for a young guy. Put it this way, if Erik doesn’t make it on Wednesday I’d rather have Eoghan playing than Efe, and I’m NOT scapegoating the big man, he’s had his chance(s) and he’s blown it (IMO of course).

What was the attendance today? I thought about 20,000. Strange game, a friendly of course. We played some good football at times. Thought the Green Brigade standing added to their match experience. They were certainly lively enough.
Couple of very good goals. Was in O’Connell who had the misfortune of putting the ball into his own net? I thought we scored a very good goal which Madden ruled out for some reason only he knew.
Hope we draw a wee bit of encouragement for Wednesday, even though it was only a friendly. How is our CH? He took a very hefty knock. I thought AJer looked the part when he came on.
