Imho my/our job as supporters is to support in the here and now of the match. I have a real problem with boo Bhoys.
Doesn’t mean I’ll not tell it like I see it post match, especially in the cqn front room. I doubt many players have their moral dented by coming on and reading the witterings of old men and the occasional glamorous young woman!

Last night’s performance was something to purr about. Zenit were poor considering the hype about them pre-match but we were excellent individually and as a team. Hopefully, we will see more of these performances over the coming weeks.

Impending changes to the Europa League could see Scotland’s second-tier clubs become regular participants in the competition, according to Peter Lawwell.
The Celtic chief executive revealed there are ongoing discussions to re-format the competition for the beginning of the 2024/25 season. This would come in the form of an expanded second tier competition, whether it’s the Europa League or a similar tournament underneath the Champions League. This would mean a reduced domestic schedule, but Lawwell reckons the kind of money playing in Europe under such a restructure would be “transformational” in terms of the income it could bring in. He told BBC Scotland: “We should be getting ready to bring in new money from European participation.
“Growth in Scottish football will come from looking outside Scotland, and getting more participation of our clubs in Europe. “For clubs like Aberdeen, Hibs and Hearts, it’s very possible they could be regular participants in the Europa League or it’s equivalent in six years. A
“There is a thought that we should be expanding the Europa League, that European football takes a bigger chunk of the calendar and your domestic becomes smaller. “You have to have more games in Europe. We should be looking to export Scottish football to a European competition – that’s where the money and the interest and the competition is. “Including gate money, sponsorship, the central pool, it could be between 8m and 10m euros for a club like Aberdeen. That is transformational.”

Is that the real reason Regan got booted oot? Did he not want McLeish?
Wait until he’s gone then the Strong Rangers mob can get their RRM in?

Stating the obvious I know but we can lose 2-1 over there and still qualify, play like we did last night though an we could win 2-1.

I like to think that,as CQN is regarded by the Internet generation of supporters as on old Bhoy’s club, that the players come on here to learn from our experience.
Please don’t disabuse me of that notion.

Collectively we upped our game and especially Callum McGregor. I never doubted you for a minute son. :)))))

Callum isn’t to everyone’s taste, and I get that. He doesn’t seem capable of playing any position bar the attacking, creative midfielder.
I’m loathe to give him a 10,because that is maybe too big a cross to bear-even if his goal last night deserved the SANDMAN mark of approval.
So maybe we should play him where he is effective, like last night? It was a masterstroke from BR,because I’m pretty sure Mancini hadn’t factored him into the calculations.
I’m in Rome over Paddy’s weekend so anytime after that should be ok.

Missed last night’s game, as I am on my second course of antibiotics and didn’t feel able to take the chance.
Watched on TV. Quite surprised (and more than delighted) by the performance. Now we know why our manager brought in Charly. Quite brilliant in the build up to the goal.
If we get through this round, and we get some of our injured back, we could really be some team.
Congratulations to each and every one who contributed to the victory.
Let’s see more of the attitude and concentration on Sunday.

With that formation he had much more space to operate in. When we play 4-2-3-1 and he plays in the middle of the three it gets too congested, with Sinclair coming in off the left and packed defences. In domestic games I’d like to see him a bit deeper where there is a bit more space and he can get the ball forward quicker.

Seriously, accommodation is troublesome. But the more I mention it on here-I did say I would mail people with a suggested date until I found out the problem!-the more I think I’m prevaricating for no reason.
The problem is real. But it’s nothing that can’t be overcome-bring a sleeping bag, haha!
Personally I’d be looking at the weekend of 23 June. Rounds off Royal Ascot-we might even be on the same plane as all the money going back to Ireland!-and its wall-to-wall World Cup too.
Build it they will come,I hated that film. My mate got it on vid. He got Mad Dog and Glory and some other real beauties too.
But wtf,I think the time for prevarication has gone.
Sorry to darken the mood but I just want to say that it shames Scottish football that McLeish has been appointed manager. Disgraceful on so so many levels…..

Thought Bhoylo was now part of the property owners club. Accommodation for 40 hooted (pl) sorted.
October would be sound but if you think accommodation in Derry in June is a problem try finding accommodation close to the Halloween weekend. As an aside having been at the Hoot the money saved on false faces can subsidise the extra accommodation costs.
Free Derry Museum a must see btw. What about September. Almore as a teacher in the South should still be off. That applies to most months to be honest.
