CELTIC’S SCOTTISH CUP DATE

HOLDERS Celtic will go into the Scottish Cup fourth round draw which will be held tomorrow night.

The ballot will be broadcast live on Sportscene on the BBC Scotland channel with coverage starting at 7.15pm. It will also be shown on tablet, mobile or laptop can do so for free via the BBC iPlayer.

The Hoops have won the trophy five times in the past seven years, reclaiming the silverware in Ange Postecoglou’s last hurrah at Hampden on June 3 with a 3-1 win over Inverness Caley Thistle in the Scottish Cup Final when Kyogo Furuhashi, Liel Abada and Filipe Jota netted the goals.

The third round takes place this weekend before the Premiership teams enter the competition to make the total of 32 clubs going into tomorrow’s draw.

Raith Rovers and Clyde are the first two sides through to the next stage after last night’s wins over Dunfermline and Jeanfield Swifts respectively.

The Kirkcaldy outfit eased to a 3-0 victory over their Fife rivals at East End Park while Clyde relied on two second-half strikes to overcome their East of Scotland League visitors.
