SUPER Scotty Sinclair has been voted Celtic’s Player of the Year by his team-mates.

Brendan Rodgers’ £4.5million bargain summer buy from Aston Villa was honoured following a series of stunning displays in which he has notched 25 goals in a fabulous debut campaign.

Sinclair won both the Players’ Player of the Year award and the club’s overall Player of the Year award at the ceremony in Glasgow last night.

The Englishman, who agreed a four-year deal in August, has been outstanding as the Hoops zero in on the treble while attempting to extend their 42-game domestic sequence.

French striker Moussa Dembele picked up the gong for top goalscorer as well as Goal of the Season for the spectacular team effort in the 5-2 win against St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park in February.

Kieran Tierney won the Young Player of the Year title while Jack Aitchison was crowned as the Academy Player of the Year.

Fifty years after lifting the European Cup, the Lisbon Lions received a special recognition award at the ceremony.
