Every European copycat club whose supporters fly any flags which Uefa consider to be unacceptable is liable to cause Celtic even more problems.
Celtic may well be treated much more harshly for bring perceived to have started this particular trend .
I wonder if there is the slightest chance that Uefa are unaware of the fund and how much it currently stands at.
The ludicrous title of “match the fine ” may well encourage Uefa to increase the size of the fine lest it be matched .
And the G.B. and their cohorts really don`t give a damn about any of the damage inflicted on Celtic.

My friends in Celtic,
We have talked before about the value of being lucky.
I didn’t think we had any luck in the draw yesterday, but since I have thought about it. It’s a great draw and a lucky draw as far as our managerial team are concerned.
Our interest is sky high and our domestic crowds will feed off that. Realistically ,on paper our chances of anything other than last are slim. Nobody outside of optimistic Celtic supporters expects us to gain many points.
We are total underdogs and that’s the way I like it. I suspect that’s the way BR likes it.
On another note : I don’t know if I will stand up for the GB on 15 minutes. I honestly haven’t made my mind up.If I suspect I am being coerced into it for incorrect reasons,then I will rebel. I think it’s great that they have raised so much for charity, but should we not wait for any consequences before paying homage to them.
I think that when the GB act in the best interests of Celtic FC they are a tremendous asset, but if we publicly display our support for them for breaching the rules , it will be very hard to ever challenge them in the future.
For want of a better phrase the GB are now philanthropist’s . They might not see it that way, but essentially that’s what is happening.
I believe passionately about social equality. I believe passionately about opportunity and equality for single parent families . I am aware of a philanthropist who advocates both ; JK Rowling.
Yet she has been subjected to horrendous abuse over a single political issue. I suspect she would divide the Parkhead support, demonstrating that even with the best intentions, philanthropy is no guarantee of universal acceptance.
I know many will disagree, but freedom of opinion is still allowed on the blog.

It’s not been ignored mate – it’s been challenged numerous time. If people want to express those opinions on the Green Brigade and Celtic Trust that’s up to them. Personally I find some of the language used distasteful and I disagree with what’s being suggested, but throwing insults back & forward is not going to change that. People will form their own opinion of a poster based on what they write.

Morning Bhoys I am looking forward to the CL games I have followed Celtic for a long time and we are at our best when we are up against it.I see Joe Hanson looks to be on the move that is a strange one going to an English Championship side when he could have stayed with the hoops and played in some huge games I guess hes chasing the money. We will try to sign one more player so says big Peter but I think he may well surprise us with at least two.H.H.

Maybe the three posters on here who are most animated about the whole Palestine flags thing – and who continue using it to further their longstanding anti- Celtic trust agenda – should form a vigilante group to disrupt these flag displays : Ban University Groups from Grooming Excitable Rascals Over Football Fixtures, BUGGER OFF, for short.

If the smaller countries accept the automatic entry of 4 teams from the “big” leagues then it’s only a matter of time before the introduction of a invite only competition. It’s the end for European football as we know it.
