CIFTCI COULD GET TURKISH MOVE

NADIR CIFTCI is poised to leave Celtic today in a shock loan move to Turkish side Eskisehirspor.
With Patrick Roberts and Colin Kazim-Richards both expected to join the champions today, the striker could be on the way out in a short-term temporary deal.
Ciftci has struggled since his £1.3million move from Dundee United in the summer and has claimed a mere four goals in 22 appearances.
Manager Ronny Deila had Ciftci on the substitutes’ bench against Ross County in yesterday’s 3-1 League Cup semi-final defeat against Ross County.
Although the Hoops were desperate for more firepower, the Norwegian chose to ignore the frontman and put on skipper Scott Brown for his first appearance in two months and James Forrest. Centre-back Erik Sviatchenko, of course, was already on after Efe Ambrose’s 13th-minute dismissal.
The striker agreed a four-year deal when he arrived from Tannadice in July and was rather surprisingly given the coveted No.7 shirt.
Unfortunately, he has toiled to make an impression and also incurred the wrath of the club after a training ground bust-up with Emilio Izaguirre, who himself has fallen out of the first team in recent weeks.
