CONFIRMED: SAME AGAIN CELTS, REO ON STAND-BY

1

ANGE POSTECOGLOU has announced an unchanged line-up from the team that routed Kilmarnock 5-0 last week for the visit of Hearts this afternoon.

The Celtic manager’s decision means Reo Hatate, who has played for only 66 minutes this season, starting the game on the substitutes’ bench after sustaining an injury in the opening-day 2-0 win over Aberdeen.

However, the Japanese ace has made a full recovery and may figure at some stage on this occasion.

CAPITAL SHOW…Kyogo Furuhashi flashes the ball past Hearts keeper Craig Gordon for Celtic’s matchwinner at Parkhead in December.

David Turnbull again gets the nod to take his place alongsode skipper Callum McGregor and Matt O’Riley in the team’s engine room.

Kyogo Furuhashi, who scored against the Tynecastle outfit in three games in the east end of Glasgow last season, will again lead the attack with Giorgos Giakoumakis also among the stand-by squad.

There will be a minute’s applause before the 3pm kick-off in memory of club great John ‘Yogi’ Hughes who sadly passed away at the age of 79 on August 1 after a short illness.

TEAM: Hart; Juranovic, Carter-Vickers, Jenz, Taylor; Turnbull, McGregor, O’Riley; Jota, Kyogo, Maeda. Subs: Siegrist, Starfelt, Giakoumakis, Abada, Mooy, Bernabei, Hatate, Forrest and Ralston.
