DID YOU MISS CELTIC’S MAGICAL MOMENT v DONS?

0

WITHOUT fuss or fanfare, Celtic scored the perfect goal in their 6-0 landslide triumph over Aberdeen at Parkhead yesterday.

The magical moment arrived in the second minute of stoppage-time with the champions already leading 3-0 with strikes from Yang Hyun-jun, the South Korean’s first for the Hoops, Kyogo Furuhashi, his eighth of the campaign, and Luis Palma, from the penalty spot.

The magical moment got into motion when keeper Joe Hart rolled the ball to Cameron Carter-Vickers who passed to Tomoki Iwata who worked a neat one-two with Alistair Johnston before bringing David Turnbull into play.

JUST PERFECT…David Turnbull watches his low drive elude Aberdeen keeper Kelle Roos for Celtic’s fourth goal. Matt O’Riley (No.33) gets a good close-up view.

LIFT-OFF…David Turnbull and Luis Palma celebrate the brilliant goal with Alexandro Bernabei about to join. Brendan Rodgers, in the background, shows his appreciation.

The midfielder knocked the ball onto Matt O’Riley as the move gained momentum going into the Dons half of the field.

The astute playmaker shoved a pass to Liam Scales on the left and the Republic of Ireland international defender stroked the ball onto Luis Palma.

The gifted touchline ace spotted Turnbull unmarked just outside the box and picked him out with an accurate pass.

The Scotland international shaped to curl an effort high and wide to Kelle Roos’ left before a quick change saw him slide an effort low to the keeper’s left, with the ball nudging the inside of the post on its way towards its inevitable destination.

Just perfect, Celtic!

WHAM, BANG, THANK YOU, YANG AS HOOPS HIT SIX
