It is nonsense to talk about Hampden Hoodoos, Celtic’s five defeats there since Neil Lennon became manager have been a result of poor performances, not superstition (fighting the urge to mention two last minute penalty decisions). Celtic were unquestionably the stronger team on four of those five occasions, arguably all five, but they have been tactically out-thought at the national stadium time after time.
We are vastly stronger than Dundee United but once the whistle goes tomorrow, unless we can match them for hunger, arrest the defensive lapses which have blighted us all season, and find the key to breakdown what will be a tight defence, there is no reason to believe the outcome will be any different than when we faced a weaker St Mirren.
Shortly before that St Mirren defeat I said we were not playing consistently to win the treble we were short odds for. Consistency hasn’t improved much since, which is why you are hearing talk coming out of Lennoxtown about this being the biggest game of the season.
It’s double time….

Many Europeans find it intriguing that incompetent Scottish Officials keep getting big European games
One man to blame in my opinion , the popinjay that is called Collina . He is best mates with his very own wannabe High Dullarse.
I’ve had an automatic for 10 years….wouldn’t go back to manual…

Triumph memorable historic club
The Celtic celebrates 125 years with a win over Barca suffered their second defeat of the course (2-1)
One night for central
RAMON BESA Glasgow 7 NOV 2012 – 23:41 CET 221
Celtic will hardly win the European Cup. It is also known that ultimately is not a heroic conquering Celtic Park. It will not be easy either the bhoys again have a coach like Jock Stein and player Neal category, Jonhsntone or Larsson. Right now it is impossible to form a legendary lineup with children born within 30 miles of Parkhead as happened in 1967. Not even compete with the Rangers down. Celtic, however, will always be the Celtic, impossible to forget a stadium like Celtic Park and green is by definition the opposite color to blue in Glasgow: 125 years after its founding, the Scottish champions club remains a recognizable and admirable very capable of defeating occasionally a team like Barca.
There are few teams that should fight with the power of Celtic in the game the misty Celtic Park Glasgow. The mixture was explosive for boys of Tito Vilanova, who signed their second defeat of the season as they prepared to certify the pass to the next round of the Champions. The party, at the end of the day, was very similar to the Camp Nou. The result, however, was the opposite. Accustomed to leave him face Barca yesterday touched the cross on Celtic den. The continued possession and shots on goal only served to make the consolation goal.
As it did in Barcelona, Vilanova bet in Glasgow by the touch and Xavi and Iniesta pause before the frenzy of Cesc, Alexis aggressiveness preferred to Villa goal, I wanted the same team in the first leg, to Alves-except for the injured Adriano-resolved back at Celtic Park. So I had to re-set the pace, stop the rondo in the opposite court, avoid turnovers, focus at Forster. The more grateful deployment Celtic precisely as we saw at the Camp Nou and was found in Glasgow.
The Scots know very well defend the club. Intense and concentrated, especially well staged on home soil, no spaces or sometimes granted, clog the passing lanes and steal patiently await the ball to pull a transition that inevitably ends in a band or an outside corner. And usually, a corner kick is a chance of scoring at Celtic Park. Last night was no exception: Wanyama, measuring more than two feet Alba, headed home service Mulgrew in the first arrival of the boys of Lennon.
He had the same aim the club. Although hard-earned positions shot twice topped timber (Messi and Alexis) and 10 non holed a goal that seemed sung to the hills of Forster. The old story in Celtic-Barcelona duels and often repeated also in the team Vilanova, used to compete with the score against, a situation that has already been given in seven games this season, four successfully solved, and two with defeat. A Barca had not done any better than playing at home: break trailing by 1-0.
Nor was news because we know that sometimes it seems a team when they play too flat Villa or Fabregas. Alexis has no luck with the porters, either at an auction last night to face with Forster, and yesterday evening it was not Peter. The party demanded a gear change from the Barca because the minutes were consumed in favor of Celtic and Vilanova brought to El Guaje and, soon after, Cesc and Pique in a row, ready to flip the marker after Forster will again deny Messi goal.
Reproach went wrong at Barcelona because Celtic did not spare after a long kick from his keeper managed to reject not Xavi. The ball ended up at the foot of Watt and his cross shot beat Valdes output. The meeting was no longer remedy for Barca. Messi’s goal after collecting a rebound of a shot Forster Villa, did not help anything Vilanova boys. Again discussed Messi and Villa and Scottish supporters said his team with a roar overwhelming, the cry characteristic of a club always recognizable by their strength and mystique.
Today, 125 years after its founding, the Celtic welcomed Celtic remains endearing. There could not be a better gift for the 60,000 fans who meet in a unique liturgy at Celtic Park to an outstanding win against Barca. No doubt personality never the Betis of Glasgow.

Bacause we like them.
Us the love the word Real Royal in a name.
Heading into the perth csc in oz for the game .. Few scoops before kick off.
Enjoy celts whereever you are in the world.
Let the people sing
I’m quite sure that when the President of the SFA receives his copy of the independent report from Sevco he will do the right thing and revoke their playing license, on the basis that their original application for a license was a pack of lies re their ownership. Unless of course he himself is a Sevconian dyed in the wool masonic hun, which surely would never be allowed to happen in Scotland.
Henr1k
Wouldn’t that just cap it all off
Morning Bhoys! If I had the chance to pick the team for today I would go with:
Forster
Lustig Wilson Mulgrew
Matthews Kayal Ledley Vic Izzy
Commons
Hooper
Supersub Sammi
Thoughts?

at every turn there is a concession to that mob – every decision has to have that mob factored in – unbelievable
After reading those last tweets from @OHenleyAlex, all fans must be ready to fight more corruption in our game with Sevco getting a helping hand up the league.
Those of you on Facebook – pop over to the CQN Magazine page to see the pic we have just posted. Seeing is believing…
Very soggy in Mount Florida
For those of you driving to game remember there is now a residential permit parking scheme for the streets closest to the stadium – don’t want you to pick up a ticket….
In all of the reconstruction talk, we have not heard the supposed unfairness of the bottom tier champions playing in the new bottom tier for a while ….
I’m sure the notion hasn’t gone away.

It may well be photoshopped, can’t say for sure.
I think if there’s any doubt about that photo, it shouldn’t be there – just my opinion.
It’s a photoshop boys.
Looks photaeshopped tae me…
Didn’t the SFL clubs already decide which league sevco play in last year? Is this to be an annual thing now?
Yeah photoshopped guys! Ha ha – I’m off to match now…
I think we need to be 100% sure before going with anything .
Just saying.

The LNS photo is a fake. Original was posted somewhere yesterday, might have been KDS.

Dallas, Dallas , Dallas , Dallas etc.
The officials in other parts of the world…..including the greatest football league in the universe south of the Rio Tweed are as poor, inconsistent, and idiosyncratic as they are in Scotland.
Our familiarity proverbially begets a contempt for our officials that is mirrored by fans throughout the footballing nations.
The award for worst performance could go to any one of a host of incompetents who have taken to the stage in European ties and we conveniently forget the muted silence that greeted the abysmal performance of Alan Haimer from Luxembourg who refereed the game against Inverness when the Scottish Referees withdrew their labour.
Of course there are incidents of apparent bias and duplicity. Such is life and if you want to see real corruption have a look at the Balkan, Italian, French, Portuguese, Spanish and South American officiating and some of the proven corruption.
I get infuriated by our referees, linesmen and administrators as much as anyone…..that’s part of the perverse pleasure and DNA of a football and Celtic junkie…..but in rare moments of sanity I know that it is exactly that….a perverse pleasure that I would miss if I was ever cured of that life enriching ailment!
Refs are by their calling a bunch of egotistic, autocratic self-publicists who were probably bullied at school by girls with long legs, squinty stocking seams, strange odours, interesting bottoms and too much lipstick. They are just getting back at society.
As our man in his choice of garish colours leaves the pitch today, we should all stand up and applaud him. Spare a moment however to remember that he is probably wearing his wife’s knickers under his shorts!
Right that curry I put in the oven last night should be about ready…..vindaloo and rice for Sunday breakfast…..yum yum!
Hail Hail

It’s a brave man who publishes a photo of a Law Lord that might well be photoshopped.
Personally don’t care whether it was photoshopped or not, whether he was at the game or not, makes not the slightest bit of difference.
His decision and lack of punishment, is enough proof for Celtic fans of what went on, there are more crooks involved that definately were nowhere near Ibrokes yesterday.
Can that pic be removed it detracts from the integrity of this site and allows others to mock us being ‘duped’, whilst also allowing them to call into question other information proffered!
